June 2nd around 11 am in the garden department I was treated poorly by a vendor in the back of the department assembling BBQ grills. From Northwest he said. He had a portable radio playing very, very, very loudly and it was battling the home depot piped in music. It was uncomfortably loud and hard be in the area. I couldn’t think straight. Asked him about it and he was a complete jerk. Rude and smug. He did not turn it down even a little bit but instead said it could go even louder. He did not care about Home depots customers at all.

Hard to write a specific review for a chain store. It’s a Home Depot store. Always has a supply of whatever I’m looking for, and folks are generally very helpful once you can find them. Store is clean and well lit.

This is a nice home depot and set up like any home depot. Plants and pots for plants are pretty pricey. Wasn’t too impressed by their selection of pots for planting. On a separate occasion I came in, ready to buy a bbq grill out right and had to search everywhere for an employee to help me. After an employee was called to the bbq area I asked what the difference was between the two grills I was looking at the employee’s answer was «one has 4 burners and the other has 5»… ok? I could have told you that and I dont work there! I had done my research on grills so after asking him 2 more questions and getting clueless answers I knew I had more knowledge on grills then this kid was supposably a bbq expert! This experience sent me straight to Amazon where I bought a beautiful $ 1500 grill. This place has def. Lost business.

I wish I was good with plants! They have such great gardening supplies. I also wish I knew how to barbecue. They had some exceptional deals on grills.

Their customer service is okay. I know it’s not their fault that the online inventory doesn’t reflect the actual inventory of the store. I’m sure they’ve been having a lot of problems with it, and it must have worn down the two ladies working at the counter. Still, it’s frustrating to make a trip for nothing, and I have learned from the experience to always call first to make sure they have an item in stock before going out of my way to visit.

After finding out the propane tank my apartment allows for grilling was completely empty and had problems refilling the tank, I made my way to Home Depot to exchange the tank.
I was greeted and helped by the nicest man ever. He explained why it might not be filling correctly and pointed me in the right direction to find various propane tanks. I chose the littlest one and made my way back to the register. He looked at me, smiled and said «we’re all done»!! Faster than I’d come in, I was on my way out :)
Def put a good spin on the day when someone greets you with a smile, and i’ll be back just for that :)
