Not very friendly. Very good portions, large. However you do pay for them. The food is okay, my nuggets were a little over cooked and you can tell they were cooked in the same grease as the fish.

In town for the day and working at the airport, I was introduced to a new place for those in the know at the Signature Flight Services building located at Denver International Airport. This isn’t a place that most people would even know exists unless you’re flying a private jet or charter service into the FBO because… well, why would you go there if you weren’t flying out?. When the Colts come to town, this is the building they park at and board their transportation downtown. The Galley at DIA, as it was explained to me, is a restaurant that caters to airport ground personnel. It’s located in the Signature Flight Building and is owned by the guy who prepares food and catering for the private jets flying in and out of DIA. I was told The Galley was created to feed the airport staff who have access to get over there. Breakfast prices range from $ 3.75 for a breakfast sandwich to $ 4.95 for 3 pancakes or French toast to $ 5.95 for an omelet. Lunch prices are great. everything is only $ 6.95 each with limited specials. The variety is great. grilled mahi mahi, salmon Caesar salad, tuna melts, the«big azz» gyro«southside rooben», fish tacos, shrimp quesadillas. the list goes on and on. I ordered the Steak Burger, a half pound sirloin black angus burger with a choice(cheddar) cheese and a side of crinkle cut French fries. I was asked if I wanted to make it a bacon cheeseburger for $ 0 more. The price seemed right, so I went for it. The was definitely a two handed burger with a generous tomato, pickle, lettuce and onion on the sesame seed bun. Drinks were all canned with a nice variety. I’ll be sharing this secret spot with coworkers and know where my next meal will come from when I’m back in Denver.
