I think a little more love would make this a 5 star establishment. Here’s what they are doing oh-so right: GLUTENFREEPASTRIESANDHANDPIES!!! Someone high up on the command list is gluten-free, because walking into this place and having choices — GF scones, GF muffins, GF quick breads or a GF savory hand pie — in Denver is unheard of. It’s like stepping into a tiny slice of Portlandia to come here, and I am oh-so grateful for it. Staff consistently is knowledgable and awesome — the first time I came the barista’s love and appreciation for matcha was downright poetic. He was a lover of the craft and spoke with passion even though he was not the owner. He crafted fine teas for my honey and I. Today I came in to study and ordered a relatively boring green tea — but the man behind the counter knew not to put it in scalding hot water and let the water cool before putting in my teabags so I would not be drinking a bitter green brew. These details make me want to come back again and again even though… The décor is light and sparse and cold… When I think of tea I think of warm and cozy… I think of fireplaces and scarves and warm wood tones. This is more cool modern décor in a wide open space that lacks a lot of warmth and coziness. I want to have ample corners to tuck into with my tea and a book or good conversation. That’s not the vibe here. Ironically the display areas do invoke this kind of sensibility — the teacups and pots for sale, the assortment of goods to take home — but they are out of place with the environment in which they sit. The seating is also kind of uncomfortable. It would be nice if staff checked in on you when it wasn’t busy and you are sitting at a table for hours studying until your eyes bleed. Take away my teacup, ask if I want a refill of hot water or bring me a glass of drinking water… check my pulse, that kind of thing. It’s a small touch that would be easy on a slow day and add to the friendliness we experience when we order. Really all this place needs is a woman’s touch. The space is huge and looks a little like it was designed by a single guy fresh out of college. There’s enough space to keep the pool table(or was it air hockey??) AND add more couches and hideaway corners for quiet, cozy studying. Soft lighting in the back room where the couch is, separate an area up front with a room dividing screen and add some cozy chairs, pain the walls a darker, deeper color… things like this can make a huge difference. There’s a lot of natural light and, coupled with the existing décor, it really makes the place less cozy and inviting that it could be. I will be back — the tea is excellent and the staff is great; I hope they do enough business to afford some help with décor! (also — the bathroom wallpaper is a tragedy)

Great to find a place that serves organic tea imported from India. Got a roooibos with steamed coconut milk. Delicious

Arrived here about 15−20mins before closing. The barista was still very patient in helping us pick out our own teas. It was a very unique experience as we had not heard of most of the teas here. I definitely recommend coming here! The teas served here are either organic or great for detoxing.

Loved this place! Hubby and I just moved to Denver from Texas and we are huge tea drinkers. I am especially picky about chai and have hard time finding a good one. I took a chance on the spicy chai here and it was an absolute winner. The added ginger was fantastic. I absolutely loved this little gem. The 2 gents behind the counter were awesome and super helpful! Can’t wait to go back and try some other goodies!

Incredible. If you’ve never had a handcrafted tea soda before, you need to stop here. I got the green tea, and I honestly didn’t expect much, but it was delicious! My fiancé got the summer in a cup, and she loved it. It’s not very sweet, but that’s by design. My green tea was the perfect balance of sweetness, fizz, and flavor.

Tom, Patrick, Justin, and Dom all make this place really shine. They are excellent baristas and deliver high level, down to earth and friendly customer service. Teatulia is a innovative company and is very Eco-conscious and partners with a village in India to give the women a chance to earn a living while only picking the best tea leaves possible. Very forward thinking company. Their kombucha is from Happy Leaf, brewed right here in Denver, their Go Bistro food is local as well, and their pastries are baked fresh daily from a local business owner as well. Stop in for free WiFi and a great place to hang out, study, work, or to sip on something delicious.

Like the concept of tea bar over a coffee shop. I came here with a heavy head and stuffy nose. The cheerful waiter recommended a peppermint honey tea, which surely helped. Good place to get your work done, strong wifi. Wish the chairs were a little more comfortable. I was doing some documentation. They has some music playing constantly, though not annoying, you can’t take calls here. Interesting space, former garage, now a green garage & tea shop. The cycle rickshaw is surely a thing of interest.

Nice little tea shop in the Highlands area. They have a good selection of teas and I enjoyed my white tea with strawberry tea soda. Their muffin of the day was also really tasty.

Fabulous rose kombucha. The best I’ve ever had. Also grabbed a dark chocolate bar that is so tasty and a cup of the single origin pour over that is their mocha java blend. Very tasty. The customer service is great and the atmosphere is very laid back. Great place. Wish I’d gone in before.

Love that there’s a place where we tea drinkers get to choose the fancy drinks and the coffee people get the boring ones! Also good food selection(healthy options!) and super friendly staff. Plenty of room esp if you’re looking for a group space. If they would add some warmth through paint or through art or décor and tone down the cafeteria feeling, I would give it 5 stars.

Great stop in Denver. About 10 minutes from downtown. Tommy gave a wonderful recommendation – the Matcha Latte – and Zach made a delicious hummus plate. I definitely recommend the $ 5 for $ 10 deal on Unilocal

Pros: Great ambiance and a noteworthy chai. I got it with soy and it was a great balance between creamy and spicy. My friend got a green tea, and she said it was perfectly brewed. Cons: Staff was friendly, but did not greet us initially.

Try the Highland’s Honey. A delicious hot tea with honey and spices. Great drinks and tasty treats. Always nice service and it’s such a lovely place to get some work done. It should win an award for the best«waiting area» for an auto shop because it shares space with the Green Garage, where I go to get my car serviced. What a relief to not have to wait in a closet-sized room with greasy chairs, old magazines, and a vending machine with questionable packaged goods. Instead, it’s a cozy place where I don’t mind waiting, working, drinking tea while my car is being repaired.

Friendly workers, great selection of tea, Italian sodas, juices, and snacks. The spicy chai here is amazing and they have a great open seating area with lots of outlets to sit and work.

I should have purchased a Unilocal deal but had no idea until now! I really don’t like the atmosphere of this place because it feel’s like some kind of transition spot between other businesses and I’ve definitely been to cooler tea bars with better vibes(but not in Denver). The products that they offer however are pretty good. You can get tea lattes, ice teas, hot tea & coffee. I got a hippie vibe from some of the workers there. I tried a plain hot tea & it was served in an interesting large cup & was boiling hot. They have board games there so you could totally sit down & enjoy some tea & games with your kids or friends. Some reviewers said this place was cozy but it definitely isn’t to me. Walls and floors are cement and there’s huge empty spaces around the dining area. It’s connected to some kind of mom center & then some car-like art center & there’s a huge space in between that’s just open.

Cozy. Delicious teas and coffees. A mixture of natural and organic snacks and food. What more can I say? I wanted to come by here after spotting it at the stoplight a couple of nights back. I see the Teatulia brand sold in various places around Colorado and loved the packaged teas I’ve gotten from them before. Needless to say, I was ecstatic to find out that there was an actual tea bar I could go to. We ordered the chai tea toddy and the purple haze toddy, the latter composed of Teatulia’s Earl of Bengal black tea, vanilla, and lavender. Absolutely fantastic choices. Just the right amount of milk to tea ratio and not overly sweet. Perfect for a chilly fall day. As my first time at this location, I am definitely coming back. Great atmosphere and awesome punch cards available for freebies. It’s also attached to a Green Garage, an environmentally conscious automotive place that I would want to check out too.

This was our second visit using another $ 20 Voice Daily Deals coupon. They were located on Zuni St/W 29th Ave attached to the Green Garage in Denver. We ordered at the counter. The cashier started making my beverage while I was standing at the counter waiting to pay the balance. The other gal made the Cheese Plate and I paid and took the plate to my table. The Cheese Plate had 2 cheeses, nuts, fruit spread, olives, dried fruit, and crackers. I was just a little disappointed with the pitted black olives. I liked the Greek olives we had last time. I ordered the 16 ounce Chai Delight. It had milk, masala chai, cinnamon, vanilla, and honey. Yum! My husband ordered the Personal French Press Coffee again. He did not get the timer or the Earl Grey cookies this time. He would order the Mexican coffee again. We shared the Turkey Panini. The server pressed the sandwich on a Panini press. It was warm and crunchy. The cheese was melted. The Panini tasted a lot better than it looked cold in the display case. I would order it again. It’s a little far for us to drive just for coffee, but if we happen to be in the neighborhood we may be back.
