Our family has come to Taste of India for years. The owners are incredibly nice and friendly people, and we have relied on their catering for many large functions including my wedding. Great food, and highly recommended!

I was SOOOOO prepared to not like this place, based on the reviews. But, I’m a sucker for an Indian buffet, and I work in the same mall as this place. So, the décor is quite nice, no complaints there. I also had no issues with rude employees, and was greeted by a lovely young woman with a bright smile. The selections on the buffet were a little sparse, to be fair: Navratan Korma, Saag Paneer(VERY little paneer), Goat Curry, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Tandoori chicken. I might be missing a few. At $ 11.99, I could stand for it to be a bit cheaper. That having been said, the food was pretty darn good. I experienced only well-cooked chicken, nothing dry, and while none of the dishes were very spicy at all, I’ve come to expect that at most Indian restaurants, catering to the American public. I was brought out a fresh basket of hot naan, cooked perfectly. I quite enjoyed the Navratan Korma and the tandoori chicken! The place was completely empty, outside of myself. I will probably go back for lunch when I’m working, but probably not often, due to the steep price. But, I recommend the food, and I most definitely would like to call out the pleasant and attentive service.

It’s not as good as it used to be. There is less variety and cheaper items. No real desserts anymore and the price went up. It’s been around 15 years. Never crowded. I don’t think would go back. I noticed a nearby Indian restaurant just closed.

I like the food and the convenience of this place… but it needs atmosphere and the waitress lady could be a bit more personable. Holly cow will it kill you to smile(no pun intended).

Save your money and go get some fresh food somewhere! I’ve hit the buffet twice — once about 3 years ago, and swore never again. In a weak & hungry moment, against my better judgment — again today! Chicken masala was watered down and flavorless. The chicken in it was old and dry. The salad dressing was doused with large amounts of salt and non-consumable. The deserts, rice pudding and mango, were also watered down. The remaining items on the buffet line seemed to lack freshness. The staff is rude and the clean-up service was non-existent! I seriously am hoping I didn’t get poisoned. Yep — that bad.

I went here a couple times, once dine in, once take out. It was unremarkable both times. The naan when we dined there was burnt and hard(as if it was reheated or something). The curry was very mediocre. So even though I live blocks from here and crave Indian food often… I never go back, rather drive to go somewhere that truly satisfies my craving.

Great Food. I have used their delivery service for sometime. They take about 45−60mins but the wait is worth it. Ordered: 7+ When: 2012 – 2013 It’s a little more pricey than normal but I guess that’s the cost of eating good authentic indian food. Highly Recommended :-)

Yep, it is in an old Pizza Hut building… but its what’s on the inside that counts, right? I ordered pick-up via their online ordering, which was very easy through their direct site — & went simple with Chicken Tika Masala(medium spicy)& Garlic Naan. The Naan was perfectly cooked! The Tika Masala was relatively spicy for Medium, and I consider myself pretty spice tolerant, but still tasty. Many Indian restaurants in town have really thin Masala; this place was thicker than most and had lots of flavor. 15 minutes to have the order ready & they called immediately to confirm the order was placed! Not too bad for being ‘burb side of Denver.

Hot and fresh buffet. Just wish that the selection was a little broader. Tried some chicken meatballs for the first time. I especially enjoyed the saag paneer(not too much cream). I would visit again, if just to see what other selections they have to offer.

For some reason my father really likes the buffet here. I think it’s because he’s old, losing his teeth, and they have multiple soups for the buffet. So, for that reason, I’ve been here several times. None of which were pleasant experiences. The Naan bread is dry and flavorless… Even if you’re out of ghee, using normal, American butter might help. I’ve witnessed them reheating dishes from last nights buffet on the buffet line — Even if this is standard practice at other buffets, you shouldn’t do it on the buffet line. Where you’re guests can see. I’ve had cold Saag and Chicken Tika off the buffet line… Saag and Chicken Tika being cold are 2 things I never want to put in my mouth again… Usually have problems getting re-orders on drinks, as the service isn’t very attentive. I really wish my father had teeth so we wouldn’t keep looking for soup joints…

Love this place. Good buffet, but just like all Indian buffets, not quite spicy enough. For dinner I love the masala, saag paneer and lamb curry. Even better as left overs. Also, I love to support locally owned small businesses.

We took the family to the lunch buffet. The kids enjoyed the food. That alone makes A Taste of India a good choice.

I was apprehensive about eating hear after reading some of the reviews, but our household(me, hubby, and roommate) decided to try it anyhow because it was so close to home. I laughed because: 1. I think it is an old Pizza Hut 2. The TV was on with the news playing, like others have said 3. Yes, the owner was a bit gruff… but definitely not RUDE! So this place is not without its charm! However, the food trumps all else. I ordered the vegetarian combo plate and it was absolutely delicious, and for $ 16, well worth the price for such a large amount of food! The Mango Lassi was amazing too! The chai tea was not all that great. Bottom line, the service is OK, nothing great, but they are not slow and are not rude. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is quiet and inviting.

As almost everyone else has said… there’s a lot of attitude from the owners/employees. You really are treated like you are bothering them or something. The food is OK. I’ve only had the buffet on the 3 or so occasions that I’ve been there so I can’t speak for the rest of the menu. I’ve noticed that they don’t remove the old food and replace it with a new plate… but just dump the new food on top of the old food. The rice on the buffet was ½ OK and ½ hard and I’m guessing that’s from just dumping the newer food over the older food. If you have a hankerin’ for Indian food in this part of town and don’t feel like driving somewhere else this restaurant will suffice.

This place has pretty good food but the service is shotty. I’ve been here twice now. Looks like an Indian family owns it. they have a buffet 7 days a week for $ 10 which isn’t bad but if you like your food spicy, you’ll need to ask for chili powder because the buffet stuff is not spicy at all. Dinner is better because you can have your food made mild, medium or hot. I am a big fan of nan bread and sauce when it comes to Indian food. This place has the nan but the sauce is minimal. The restaurant itself is a fairly large size but there is hardly anyone in there. The establishment has a dated look to it. Also, if you are looking for a quiet atmosphere, this place will work well for you. Overall this place is tasty but lacking on other fronts that make for a great dining experience. Good place for a casual stop if you are in the neighborhood and feel like Indian but don’t make this place a destination if you live further than 10 mins away.
