Naan was soft and tasty. Butter chicken and chicken tikka masala were tender, juicy and flavorful. Delicious and highly recommended!

Ordered delivery — curry was 90% vegetables for a chicken curry order, 2 Masala were meh — not very impressive overall. Next time I’ll go Little India, better choice.

When we first ordered Taz Indian we were very happy, the food was great and so was the delivery time. Then the second time we ordered, it was completely different, the chicken tikka was a lot less flavorful and the women who answered could not understand a word my boyfriend said to her so she would have him repeat our address over and over. This has happened every time we placed an order since then. Today after spelling a simple street name to her about 5 different times, he asked for someone else so they could get our address and she refused. The phone call took 15 mins before we could even order the actual food. Bottom line they went downhill and are incompetent and now also very rude.

We came here on a night when we didn’t have much time and the service was slower than expected, especially since there were not many people in the restaurant. That being said, the food was great! The portions were pretty big and we had quite a bit of left overs to take home. We got the biryani and tikka masala. Both were delicious. Sometimes biriyani can be oily but it was not at all here. Next time we are going to have to try an appetizer. They look so good!

Have gotten delivery here a ton. I like some spice(obviously, with Indian food) and the Butter Chicken extra spicy is awesome! The Korma is insanely good too. Great naan. Delivery takes 45 — and hour but they tell you that. Customer service has been great. First time I ordered we got an appetizer that we forgot about and it wasn’t in the bag, they came back and brought it to us without us even asking! This is our Indian spot!

Taz Deserves Applause I have to come to the very edge of Aurora, Colorado in a tiny strip mall to get a true taste of India. I ignore the tear in the leather booth when the aroma of steamed vegetables and a dozen unknown spices flood my nostrils. Vegetable MoMo($ 4.99) is placed in the center of the table. Evenly plated in a circle on what looks like a cheap Ikea plate, my eagerness takes over as the steam rises. The roof of my mouth quickly resents my impatience, but I tell myself, «Worth it.» Fifteen minutes pass as the Bollywood music videos play on the television before the main event of Chicken Korma($ 12.99) arrives. With the first bite of the most tender meat and creamy, perfectly recognizable korma sauce, I feel elated that I didn’t fill my stomach with only the Veggie MoMo. The chicken must have marinated for weeks with how easily my teeth tore into the flesh. The rice soaks up every bit of this bright orange sauce mirroring the color of the walls. From my three months of living in Bangalore, India, I never imagined I’d find a place this familiar in atmosphere or food as perfectly prepared and accurate to the cuisine of a country half way around the world. To finish this impeccable déjà vu, I order the most popular dessert in India, Gulab Jamun($ 3.99), «Deep fried milk balls soaked in saffron flavored syrup, served hot,» as the menu states, and hot it is. The only obvious Americanization I noticed belong to the labeling under«Drinks.» The chai was labeled«Chai Tea.» Any Indian would laugh at this statement simply because chai actually means tea. I’m sure this was just to make it easier for us Americans, but I giggle to myself, saying, «Tea tea.» Way past my limit of fullness, I finish the last bite of this classic dessert, gathering as much syrup as I can fit on my teaspoon. If this establishment were closer, my paycheck would be lost to this small business every week.

Scam Alert!!! Read why below. If you ate here before check your statements. So we fly into Denver and pick this place. Call them to place an order over the phone. Their site said Lunch Special is $ 7.99 with rice and naan. We ask for the total and she states it comes to $ 72 for three things, two apps, lassi, etc. when we ask why, she said its dinner price. I end up telling her it’s 11:00AM how are you charging me dinner price? We then go down line by line what we order to make sure everything is correct. By the end of the call our total came to $ 30. Yup, $ 40 up charge for some reason. Ok mistakes can be made and we were hungry. Once I get there order was partly filled because they forgot make few things and it will take another few minutes to make. So I purposely at this point don’t leave a tip. I check my card statement the next day and saw two transaction… One for the actual bill and one for a generous tip. Yup, they tried to tip themselves without my authorization. Of course I called back and the same lady tried to play games until I mentioned my lawyer, my bank and a lawsuit. Had her call me back by the owner who also at first tried to play games until the same threat of a lawsuit… Now they are refunding me the money, but I strongly encourage everyone to stay away or even check their bills. Sad thing was their food was actually good.

My review is based solely off of the food, since I’ve never set foot in the restaurant. That being said, I’m very happy with my meal. I felt like good Indian food, and these guys had good reviews, so I decided to give it a try via the Eat24 app. The wait was approximately 45 – 50 minutes, which is typical for delivery, and the food arrived hot. I had ordered the chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, saffron rice, and the iced chai. The chicken tikka masala was delicious! I ordered mine in medium, and it had solid flavor and the chicken was tender. It had just enough kick for me– I think if you’re still acquainting yourself with spices, I would stick to the mild. The aroma was astounding and the richness of the sauce was delicious. The garlic naan was good and I enjoyed that they didn’t use garlic salt. It was light in density and the flavor was fine for me– it was good for sopping up the sauce left over from my chicken. The saffron rice was also good– light and fluffy, it had golden raisins and peas a plenty for garnish. It had a touch of sweetness that added to the flavor of the entirety of the dish. Finally, the iced chai was sweet and tangy. It wasn’t too heavy on the spices, but just a tad sweet for me. I had to sip a little and come back to it, but I also don’t have a heavy sweet tooth. Overall, the food here was delicious and I will definitely be ordering again in the future. The driver was nice and very courteous. The balance of spicy to sweet throughout my eating was great for exploring the senses. I enjoyed my food experience and look forward to eating here again.

What a delicious surprise!!! Tikka Masala was ridiculously flavorful with many spices and seasonings. The basamati was light and fluffy. The ambiance was rich in culture and the staff very nice.

Yesterday I was craving Chicken Tikka Masala something fierce, so I decided to order from Taz Indian Restaurant. I ordered online and picked up at the restaurant, so I can’t really speak to the ambiance of the restaurant or the service, but the woman who gave me my order was nice. I did notice that the restaurant is pretty small, with a row of about 5 booths along one wall, the buffet on the opposite wall, and a few tables in between. The Chicken Tikka Masala was excellent, and I was impressed with the portion size. For just over $ 10, I got enough rice and Chicken Tikka Masala for three servings! The lunch special also came with two large pieces of naan. I really enjoyed my meal and will definitely come back. I would like to try the buffet sometime!

My boyfriend and I eat lunch here regularly and really like it. We’ve never ordered from the regular menu, but opt for the buffet. As far as a buffet goes it’s a little limited, but there are always a variety of vegetarian and chicken dishes, a tiny salad bar, condiments and desserts, and the options do rotate from day to day. The naan is fresh and delicious, and we leave feeling great, not like some Indian buffets where you just know your insides are completely saturated in fat and dairy. Good service, too, very friendly. It’s definitely a go-to restaurant in our household.

Food is decent. I don’t love the buffet but the menu options are great. Buffet is a fantastic price if you’re not looking for anything specific. It is small though so if you just want a bunch of a few things and don’t care what they really are, go for the buffet. If you crave something specific like I do then order off the menu. I’ve only ever eaten in so I can’t say if their delivery is good or not.

I stopped by after seeing a friend’s recent review. The service was friendly and attentive. The buffet was well-priced. Here’s my breakdown of pros and cons. Pros: They had a mix of vegetarian and meat dishes. I was pleasantly surprised to have a nice, fluffy basket of naan. This was really a nice touch. The carrot halwa was delicious. My favorite dishes were the saag planner, vegetable biryani, and chicken korma. Cons: They appeared to have a limited selection of dishes. The tandoori chicken was a bit dry. I felt that many of the dishes could have used more spices in them. I still miss my old go-to Indian buffet, and my journey continues to find the perfect one for me in Denver.

A vegetarian’s paradise! Eight dollars for lunch, really? I had everything on the buffet that was veggie friendly. Honorable mentions… Veggie Biryani, Buttered Plain Naan, Mango Chutney, a HUGE salad, Rice pudding and Veggie Samosa. My my my I was so satisfied! What a jewel in Aurora and sweet on the wallet. Great for groups, great during lunch and dinner. This is the BEST indian food I have had in Denver. Do check it out!

I ordered the following via Unilocal… Chicken Tika Masala Veggie Biryani Onion Naan Rice pudding Samosa’s– For free after spending a certain amount. I read many reviews saying food was hours late or never arrived so I was worried, ordered my food on a Wed night around 6… received it in 30 min so I guess I was one of the lucky ones! So now to the food… I got mine medium(spice level) & it was perfect to me but I do love very spicy food! Honestly everything was tasty & flavorful, not the best Indian food but still very good! EXCEPT the samosa’s they were literally raw dough!(See the pictures!!)Yes they were free, but I almost did pay for them til the coupon popped up! Maybe that’s why my order was on time?(unlike other reviewers) They would have received a 4-star rating if all my food was actually cooked. But the delivery guy was nice & I did enjoy 99% of what I ordered! Would I order from here again? YES! But if I continue to get raw food, or late/no show as others have it will be my last! I think these guys know how to make great food… they just need to take the time & get organized!

I always order the Yellow Lentil Dahl and my partner orders the chicken tikka masala or butter chicken. The dishes are good, but aren’t as flavorful as other Indian restaurants in town. Also, we’ve ordered from them multiple times and a handful of those orders were made way too spicy. We specifically requested very mild and all the dishes came back very spicy. When we called to let them know, they re-delivered the meals with no spice added at all. I would love to order from them again since they are one of the few Indian restaurants near us and they are very friendly, but it’s just so hit or miss here that I find myself ordering elsewhere because it’s less of a hassle.

We had a $ 30 Groupon for dinner. They were located on East Alameda Ave east of S Havana St in Aurora in the Highline Villages strip mall. The booth was very uncomfortable. The table was too far away and the person sitting behind me kept on leaning back and pushing me forward. The water was luke warm and tasted funny. The Mango Lassi was good and I would order it again. We started with the Coconut Shrimp with Korma Sauce appetizer. There were 3 battered shrimp covered with sauce. I didn’t taste any coconut, but the sauce was tasty and I saved it for the naan. The Chicken Tikka Masala was average. It came in a pretty metal bowl. The basmati rice was garnished with 3 peas. The server said to let her know if we wanted more rice. The Garlic Naan was okay, a little flat. The food was solid. We would be interested in coming back for the lunch buffet if we were in the area.

I gave them the benefit of the doubt after the first visit(when we were stomach sick) and went today because it is close and convenient… but that was a huge mistake! We(my coworkers and i) ordered chicken curry. The chicken was definitely uncooked/raw!!! When we got the order they apologized, said they would let the cook know and would refund us. Won’t be going back again unless I want the risk of food poison. Now it all makes sense why all 3 of us had stomach pains last time.

Friday November 14th2014. Time was about 19:15hrs ish. This establishment is situated in the Highline Villages strip mall. We came in, greeted by 2 staffs, and seats ourselves. We sat ourselves near the Entrance, on the Right Wing of this establishment. Hmmm, I guess, it was slightly chilly since the weather outside is WAYCHILLY then anticipated. Inside, was rather chilly too, since maybe its our«fault» seating near to the Entrance of Taz Indian Restaurant. *SIGH* On the Left Wing of this establishment is the BUFFET Trays or BUFFET Section, which on this evening, REMAINS Empty. *DOUBLESIGH* After having some conversations with the Chef’s Daughter, with regards to certain items from their Menu, such as the Samosas, Vindaloo and Madrash. From their Simple Menu, we opt and ordered the following items : * Vegetable Samosa($ 5.99) * Taz Special Naan($ 3.99) The Special Naan is stuffed with option of Lamb, Chicken, Garlic, Cheese and Chilli(Choose 3 Combination) — We opt to have Lamb, Cheese and Chilli * Lamb Biryani($ 14.99) * Lamb Madrash($ 14.99) Beverages : * Chai Tea($ 1.99) * Coffee with Milk($ 1.99) * Water The staff gave us Complimentary Papadum which somehow was a little«stale», NOT Crunchy, or NOT Crispy, aka to our liking aka NOTFRIED that evening, or have been kept in a container for a long time. *SIGH* The staffs ask if we want the Vegetable Samosas either in 6 mini pieces or 2 big pieces. We opt to have the 2 Big Pieces. That is good, if they offer options of the kind of Samosas based on Patrons decision. First came the Vegetable Samosa. YES it comes out piping hot from the fryer but its was a little bland and under-seasoned. YES its FRIED in crispy pastry with Mashed Potatoes with some Peas. It comes with 2 dipping sauce, the Tamarind and Mint Chutney. I like the Mint Chutney coz its a little spicy and very«addictive». Then comes with our order of Lamb Biryani and Lamb Madrash. Hubs did not fancy or did not like his order of Lamb Biryani. *SADFACE* The Lamb Biryani get a «MEH» and it lacks some of the essential spices that we are familiar with Biryani. I guess Taz Indian Restaurant Biryani its just one tone, one dimension of flavor aka DONOTWOW us at all. *SIGH* As for the Lamb Madrash, its SPICY to my liking, though they can be MORESPICY. Hence I think this Lamb Madrash is my next mission to compare to other Indian Restaurants in town. YES, it comes out BRIGHTRED! Maybe with the«food coloring» or the SPICES that they put in the Madrash dish itself. For this alone, it received 3 stars in my personal taste buds and personal books. Hmm, now I am intrigued on how to cook Madrash dish from scratch! With our order of Taz Special Naan, the Lamb that we opt for, came to a minimal at best, though its stuffed with Cheese and Chilli. For this Taz Special Naan, I wish they could increase the Lamb«pieces» and make it more«fluffier» kind of Naan. Overall the service from the staffs are indeed inviting and they answered all our questions in terms on what they offer. May return when needed since they offer LUNCHBUFFET everyday(Monday-Sunday) though unlikely… but I may just have to convince Hubs, the next time we come for a visit, maybe that Vindaloo dish can«win» our hearts, err in this case our tummy. They are in the midst to have things running smoothly, more like with a Bar and other dishes to offer during LUNCH Buffet in a couple of weeks. 3 stars at best. Left Taz Indian Restaurant at about 20:30hrs ish. From their Paper Menu, or TOGO Menu, its stated that they offer DELIVERY. Taz Indian Restaurant is opened DAILY from 11 am to 10pm. Above anything else, we wish them well in their future Business undertakings and may them prosper with many more years to come in this part of Neighborhood.
