I’ve had a guitar sitting in my basement for a year and couldn’t figure out how to play the damn thing. Eventually I gave up and it sat in the basement for months.
Then I heard about Strum & Sip… guitar lessons… in a bar! GENIUS! Strum & Sip is essentially a weekly Happy Hour with Guitar lessons instead of pretzels. I learned more in 8 Belgium White’s than I did in 8 months of youtube videos.
It’s a fun laid back group class, taught by professionals who aren’t afraid to pause the lesson while you get a refill.
I would recommend it for anyone who wants a beer and/or wants to learn/get better at guitar…
