This is my go to coffee shop! I don’t usually drink coffee, but they have a great variety of drinks, and a wall of bulk teas for sale! Baristas are always friendly and efficient. If you’re always going to Starbucks on 8th and Colorado, consider this as a wonderful local alternative!

I love Steep and only have good things to say. The staff is great, friendly, and prompt. I generally always order the toasted coconut oolong latte with almond milk — it’s SODELICIOUS. They sprinkle it with toasted coconut and I just love it. I have also had the green smoothie — it’s also pretty great for a green smoothie. Overall, great spot and I would go everyday if I could.

Who can resist a delicious latte made from tea! I always recommend this as the best plane to go for those who can survive without coffee.

I loved my raspberry crumble and my friend loved her empanada. Really cute little joint. I don’t know how to put this nicely, but this was almost undrinkable coffee. It looks like everyone around us is drinking tea… That should have been our clue. Other reviews have nice things to say about their lattes and chais. I would say if all you want is plain old coffee, go to 7⁄11.

Pros: loved my chai, gave a discount if you brought a mug in for Earth Day, friendly baristas Cons: parking isn’t the best — they have a small lot behind their building and then you’re on your own with street parking

Denver is becoming overrun with great coffeehouses. But this is one that definitely appeals to me. Great coffee, community vibe and aesthetics. And they seem to be very friendly towards freelancer that suck from their Wi-Fi. Great place to spend the day, particularly if you need to make a trek to Trader Joes, which is nearby.

Steep in tea and coffee but I had Mate. It was very hot but tasty. I did add a little honey and the flavor was enhanced. My husbands Chai Latte was steamy and yummy. It’s Always busy but service is good. It’s within walking distance to Trader Joe’s. So we Pop over there to see what’s happening and if there is something we can’t leave without. So We will be back to Steep. It’s a great place to relax

I made TWO trips to Steep within one weekend because I enjoyed my drinks so much! So far, I have tried the Red Rocks Latte & the Green Tea Latte. They were both so delicious! The flavors are so smooth and all the ingredients blend together so nicely. There was a lot of people there two out of the three times I’ve been here. This obviously shows that everyone else loves their tea/coffee as well! It seems like a good place to catch up on a good book. I CAN’T WAITTOCOMEBACK!!!

Good local coffee/tea shop near Trader Joe’s. Despite appearances on the outside it is quite roomy and cozy on the inside with plenty of outlets available. I ordered the hot chocolate which was great and made promptly. In addition to their extensive tea offerings and usual coffee choices they also had a nice selection of baked goods available. It was nice to see the baked goods were nicely displayed and not plastic wrapped so they seemed pretty fresh to me although I did not have any. Overall, would come back again if I happen to be in the area!

Looking for a local spot that’s comfortable and different but modern to get work done? Steep is the place to be! I absolutely love this place! Their tea combinations are refreshing to soothing as well as unique. They have an entire wall devoted to loose leaf teas, which you can choose and pick yourself. In the mood to relax and unwind? They have a cozy seating area. Or focused and trying to get work done? Oh you bet they have high top bar seating WITH outlets for all or prefer lower seated chairs and table for work? They have that as well. Hungry? They have wonderful pastries to amazing ciabatta bread sandwiches too. Not a tea person? No problem, they have coffee although I’m not sure to what extent because I’m addicted to their green tea matcha and Yerba mate latte. Enjoy and cheers!

I’m not a coffee drinker so I often find myself frustrated at the lack of yummy drink alternatives. Luckily this is not the case at Steep. As the name suggests, they have a huge variety of teas made any way you want! After browsing their expansive menu, I settled on ordering their Earl Grey Vanilla Crème and was so glad that I did! It’s the same as a London Fog, which has quickly become one of my favorite drinks to order, and Steep’s version is right up there with the best. What could be better than an earl grey tea latte with a hint of vanilla and foam on top?! So delish. The staff were all friendly and efficient and Steep’s location couldn’t be better. I’ll definitely be back!

This is a cute little coffee/tea house right off Colorado Blvd. I say small as it is just that, about enough seating for 10 – 15 people. Large selection of many different tea types. I’m not a huge tea lover but if I was I would likely come here for the selection. Due to the small space it does get a bit chilly inside with the opening and closing of the front door making a chat with friends a bit uncomfortable on a cold day. We got the green tea latte which was perfectly made! Try it out, great neighborhood stop for a warm pick me up!

Steep is great! I’m a big coffee drinker, but when I stop by here I’m always inspired to have tea. I’m not sure how they do it, but they have big pots of brewed hot tea ready to pour. My Earl gray was a bit stronger than I would prefer, and I thought it’d be nice to just have a tea bag so I could control the strength, but it was still a great cup of tea. My partner got a mate latte which was way too sweet for me(the menu indicates they add honey and agave!) but he enjoyed it. With my tea I had a mushroom empanada, with salsa, which was delicious! They have the normal coffee shop pastries like pumpkin bread or blueberry muffins, but also interesting stuff like the popsters or raspberry oat bars.

I love Steep! From the outside it looks like a small café, but it actually has a good amount of tables inside(with outlets nearby!). I can spend the entire day at steep; it’s such a cozy place to get work done. I tend to focus the best when there is a little background noise, so Steep is perfect in that respect. And on top of that, their drinks are amazing – love their Early Grey Vanilla Cream Latte.

Tea-lovers, search no more. Steep is your one-stop shop for exotic loose leaf, tea lattes, and your occasional cup o’ Joe. They also sell pastries and sandwiches, if your stomach Unilocal for something more than just liquids.(«Yelps»… Did you catch my joke? Ha! Sorry…) I had the Red Rocks Latte here and found the rooibos to have a nice robust flavor, even without the vanilla syrup! They have almond milk and soy milk available for an additional charge(standard). There’s plenty of seating inside and outside the store, and plenty of outlets too! The service is A-OK, though not the friendliest I’ve ever encountered, as the girl helping us came off a bit stand-off-ish. But, hey, no big, I had a good time working on adult-ish assignments here.

All I have to say is that I’ve never had a green tea latte before, and I want another one. No, maybe I want to try the Earl Grey Vanilla Cream or even the Tea Sparkle! So many choices, so little time. I have finally found a place that puts as much effort into their tea drinks as they do their coffee drinks; maybe more. Plus, they have a selection of local baked goods and support local artists. What more can a girl ask for? They even have a patio(with an unfortunate view of an alley, but you can’t have everything). I love the concept of this tea(& coffee) shoppe, and Steep delivers.

Steep is conveniently located right next to Trader Joes and it provides ample parking spots in a lot located in the back of the coffee shop. It’s very easy to find and even on a busy saturday morning, I didn’t have problems finding parking. The inside is very modern but there aren’t enough tables. I came with one other friend to study and normally this is very possible at coffee shops but I found it very difficult to study here. First of all, there is a lack of tables in the area that can accommodate two people comfortably. Also the tables are situated very close to each other so that conversations can easily be overheard. Even with my noise canceling earbuds, I can hear the women next to me talking. I understand noise is inevitable at coffee shops and sometimes you don’t want complete silence but it was too difficult to even concentrate. That is why i am taking a star off this review because I wasn’t able to accomplish what I went there for. They had a tons of unique drinks, however. Some that stood out were earl grey and coconut hazelnut latte. I went with the coconut hazelnut latte and was pleasantly surprised that there were actual coconut pieces floating in the latte. How unique! I really liked that drink. The hazelnut wasn’t overwhelming and nor was the coconut. It was a perfect blend that was warming and even though I wasn’t able to stay and study, at least I got a nice cup of coffee that helped me concentrate my studying at home. I would like to go back for the coffee but I won’t go back and try to study there anymore.

Great place to grab tea and coffee in this area. Their maté was warm and flavorful, and their coffee was good. The prices were pretty good as well. All of the folks working there were super friendly, and I felt very welcome there. In terms of tips for going there, it’s not a very big place, so it can get kind of crowded with a group larger than four, but I think you could fit more people if you conquer the couch area. Also, don’t forget that they have parking in back which is super convenient.

A tea café that is truly a tea lover’s dream! The space is a little bit small, but it has a great atmosphere that feels fresh and bright. The menu has an abundance of tea drinks, ranging from tea lattes and sparking tea to the classic hot cup of freshly brewed tea. There is a whole wall of tea canisters that you can choose from and customize your drink or choose anything from the menu. At this moment, my personal favorites are the toasted coconut oolong latte and the red rocks latte. Absolutely delicious without being overly sweet. Of course, with any place that serves caffeinated drinks, coffee and hot chocolate is also available. There are plenty of plug-ins and free wifi for anyone who wants to stay awhile. The bar in the middle of the space(which includes outlets and coat hangers!) is a nice touch, especially when the tables get full rather quickly on a busy day. The staff are extremely nice and have always brightened my day whenever I have stopped in.
