Oliver is incredibly talented as a barista. My husband and I frequent this place on weekends and he is always prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable.
I appreciate that he has built (literally) this coffee shop himself and is great at recognizing regulars.
Stop in for one of the best lattes in the city and enjoy the quaint atmosphere.

An awesome coffee shop, with lots of natural light coming in and a super nice barista. They make their own cashew walnut milk which I ordered to make a latte. It was quick and a nice start to my day.
There are a few pastries and cookies for purchase and coffee by the pound.

Owner run by someone young, ambitious, understands quality coffee and above all cares about his customers.

This may be my new favorite coffee shop in the neighborhood (sorry, Hooked on Colfax). They do a great job of selecting more obscure beans to make really good coffee. So far I’ve noticed beans from Middle State (a tiny roaster in Denver that only serves a few shops so far, but deserves to serve more) and Onyx (a roaster from Arkansas which was excellent). As a bonus, it only took a couple visits for them to start recognizing me and my preferred drink.
I wouldn’t come here to study or linger since it’s so small (only a couple tables and a window counter), but for to go coffee or meeting a friend, it’s a perfect spot.

This COFFEE SHOP aka Lula Rose, serves the best coffee in town. You feel right at home here. Everyone who walks through the door is another devotee of Lula Rose. Unlike other coffee spots where people are buried in their computers, this is a place to enjoy your coffee experience. Come for the delicious coffee, quality pastries and atmosphere. Stay for the excellent service and sense of community.

Great to see this place picking up steam with locals. Terrific uncluttered space with superior quality and real non-​chain personal service. My new go to for an amazing «locally sourced» perfectly poured coffee or tea without the hipster snobbery. In house flavors, local roasts and crafted teas in a clean cool modern laid back euro feeling place without fliers, tent cards and the typical crap littering most S-​bucks and other beige bland P-​bread wannabes. A far cry from the lines of weekend visitors waiting for their slathered carb bomb breakfast a block up Colfax. Keep it as is — love it!

This is the coffee shop this neighborhood needed. Excellent selection of beans (Sweet Bloom, etc…), great brewing methods utilized well, pretense-​free service, lovely atmosphere, and a real good barista in charge. I’m having a pour-​over as I write this and it’s just so spot on and making my mouth say «GET ON Unilocal AND GIVE LULA FIVE.» So here we are.

The huge COFFEE sign is what really drew me in initially :-) Love this place and the staff! It’s an open and beautiful spot that makes me feel like I’m on a beach somewhere. The coffee holds high standards and they are not amateurs when it comes to the different varieties of coffee making.

Great little neighborhood spot for the daily java fix! Expertly made coffee, friendly barista, and nice atmosphere for a place so small. Also, I’m impressed that they don’t charge extra for soy milk, something with irritates me to no end at other coffee joints in town. Bravo!

Try the cold brew, its my favorite in town. From a cortado snob, this is rated top three in the city, «a dream and a half.» A lot of people seem to start coffee shops as a business venture but this owner really loves his coffee and it shows with everything I’ve tried. More places to sit than you might think. Go try it!

Lula Rose is the cutest new coffee shop to hit Congress Park! I think it just opened in the last week or so and I’m so glad it did! I drove past it the other day after getting groceries at Sprouts and had to go in. The vibe is awesome with awesome aesthetics… white subway tiles, funky cement floors, quaint wooden tables, and completely windowed walls. Super light, bright, clean, and charming. The coffee was absolutely delicious and the owner super helpful and nice. I live in the neighborhood and look forward to walking down here to get a cup of joe, and read or get some work done.
