To answer your first question, yes, the place is worth the wait. Whenever I pass by any(and I mean ANY) Snooze, there’s ALWAYS a wait. I mean. that’s how you figure it’s a good restaurant, right? Décor is poppin’ with a little retro feel, menu has a great selection, food is amazing and drinks are equally as amazing as the food. Gotta applaud Snooze for their menu choices ASWELL as their execution of the food, which I’ve found to be very rare in Denver. They have your classic brunch items(eggs benny, pancakes, etc) and items that are classic + nice twist(eggs + barbacoa? yummy). Not only that, but they’ll ask how poached you like your eggs AND they’ll actually get it right. A+, recommend, yes pls.

The food is pretty good at this place. The only thing is I’m not sure it’s worth over 45 minute wait on the Monday at 11AM. Our server was friendly and the place is very nice, cozy and the food is good. I do believe that most of it it’s free range and natural which is a plus but lots of places are doing that now. So for the food I’ll give three stars and one for it being natural.

There’s a reason you always see a long line of people waiting no matter the time or day of the week. Best gluten free pancakes I’ve had in the area. I recommend getting some of the toppings on the side so you can control how sweet they are. A lot of the special pancakes are good but too sweet to eat as a whole meal. My favorite dish is the breakfast tacos with added pork.(With an a la carte pancake of course!) Be prepared for a very loud dining experience though!

The number one breakfast place in Denver for a reason. I had the breakfast pot pie, which consisted of an incredibly light and flaky pastry with gravy and an egg. My wife had the sweet potato pancake and corned beef hash. The corned beef hash was the home run of the group. The corned beef was fresh and flavorful. Only drawback was we were told the orange juice isn’t fresh squeezed there.

Amazing dining experience, awesome food and courteous staff made this place a repeat visit. The line was understandably long at 12 on a Sunday afternoon but the refreshments and games for waiting folks like us hep make it easier. It’s within walking distance of Trader Joe’s so a quick visit was easily accessible during our wait. The interior was fresh, clean and had a modern feel to it. Coat racks are a big plus come winter time. The food was delicious, I ordered a unique take on eggs Benedict and hash browns with fresh apple juice, the lady had a light and tasty Lox and my brother had pancakes with sausage and hash browns, all electing a type of fresh juice. We were all extremely happy with the portion sizes, taste, quality, creativity, and overall ‘wow factor’ of our food. Overall $ 59 for brunch for 3 people. Will come back soon

This place was good but not great. Was a little disappointed because the reviews were so good and everything we had heard was it was phenomenal. I had the Huevos Rancheros and it was better than some but not the best. My wife had the corner beef hash and she said it wasn’t bad but not for her. I will say both meals and their kids plate comes with a lot of food so you get your money’s worth and the service was very good. Based on what we heard from some friends and what we have read on here, we both decided we would like to it try again and suggest you do the same.

You snooze you lose! Wake up early to get here otherwise you’ll be waiting 40+ minutes. As I was solo traveling, I don’t have the luxury to be able to try many dishes in one visit. I really like how snooze allows you to combine different dishes and even order smaller portions. I ordered the«Benny Duo» in which I chose the Benny Goodman and the Ham Benedict. Both were very tasty. The sundried tomatoes on the Benny Goodman was a nice touch. Pineapple Upside Down Pancake was fantastic! I tend to like savory pancakes over sweet, but I’ll make an exception for this. I was completely mind-blown by how amazing it was. «Tastes so good it makes you wanna slap yo mamma!» The pancakes were very fluffy and the sweetness factor wasn’t overbearing either. I’m sensitive to sweets, but this had the perfect amount for me. Parking: Make sure you pay attention to where you park because you can get towed.

They are such a tourist hit spot that you are almost always waiting for 20−45min to get A table. And honestly I think they are so busy that the wait staff doesnt feel the need to be super friendly or work for a tip. Food was alright. Little pricey.

We were just in Denver for our monthly recreational smoking purchases, and suddenly we decided we wanted breakfast, so I remembered hearing about Snooze somewhere, because of Tender Belly Bacon. I’m a crazy bacon person who owns nothing but bacon-themed t-shirts. So anyway, I Googled Snooze real quick and got the nearest location and we were off! The place had a heck of a line for 10AM on Friday morning. We were told there was a 10-minute wait, but it turned into 30+. We went to check after that, and they said they had called us a few times, but we heard nothing. We(the wife and I) were sitting directly outside from the hostess thing, so we heard them call lots of other names. They could have used the phone, but I didn’t realize I had it on me until later. Strange. Anyway, after we let them know we were still there, they got us a table right away! The menu took us a bit, and it was kinda small, but filled with so much goodness. Got the breakfast tacos with green chili hollandaise and bacon, the daily special pancake with chocolate chips and bacon, and the wife had a double-Benny combo, something with spinach, and another with pulled pork which was amazing. It was all amazing. I have read several pages of reviews, and I guess some people just have a bad moment or something, but our experience was, «Holy crap, this place is amazing.» Our waitress was always around with coffee, and checked us regularly, even though the place was still pretty packed. We got the Boss Hogg Bloody Mary too. I’ve had a lot of bacon-infused liquors, being the crazed bacon fan I am, I’ve even had a Bloody Mary with the same name in Pittsburgh at a bacon festival, and with real Bakon Vodka. I was expecting an off-tasting bourbon, but it was good! It was smoky, spicy and porky It came with a pickle and tomato garnish which were also delicious! We left stuffed, and kinda poor. The price was way up there for breakfast, but it was presented beautifully, and we couldn’t find anything bad about it! We will be back for more.

Let me start off by saying I’m not a breakfast/brunch aficionado. In fact, I don’t like breakfast foods at all. But this place has changed me for the better, and did breakfast/brunch extremely well! We arrived at about 10am on a saturday, and we waited about 30 minutes for a table, which was fair. The interior was spacious, bright and very pretty. We ordered the cold brew coffee, the pancake flight(pineapple upside down, blueberry muffin and the special of the day [ham and pineapple on the inside, caramel jalapeño glaze on the outside]), and the benny duo(bella! bella! benny, and the benny goodman). The food was absolutely perfect, portion sizes were good, and the price point was great. The cold brew coffee was amazing, and had a caramel aftertaste. Wonderful place for a brunch, now my breakfast food standards are set way high!

Although it is worth the wait, come early and skip the line! We arrived at 6:30am and were greeted by our wonderful waiter, Matt. He was pro at helping us navigate the menu and make great selections. Our group enjoyed everything, especially the hot chocolate and neat french toast. There’s a reason Snooze is popular!

Still love this place. Me and The Hubs have had breakfast here about once a month, or so, since we moved to Denver last summer. One thing I will say, though — I WILLNOT wait for breakfast, so we go early. We live within a reasonable walking distance, so we get out of bed, get dressed and walk over with bed-head to get here around 7:30 or so. If you get here after 8, there’s usually some wait; after 9 plan on hanging out for a while(maybe have a bite of something before you get here). And then, good luck parking. We were here this past Tuesday morning(it was The Hubs’ birthday, but I didn’t tell the staff) and had a great time. Our server, Zane(shout-out to Zane!), was great! He was super-friendly and we shared lots of ideas for ‘pancake of the day’ specials. Me and The Hubs had fun. Another nice thing about coming here before the place gets super-mobbed is that the staff have more time to chat with you. I’ve had several different things on the menu over the past months, but the Chilaquiles Benedict is my favorite and I usually have to force myself to order something different so The Hubs doesn’t look at me and say ‘so are you going to have the usual again’. But it’s THAT good and it’s what I’m having next time…

So food-wise, I don’t think my menu choices were the right one for me this time at Snooze. Don’t get me wrong, the food was great and the service was spectacular, but I definitely think I mucked up my choices in the 3 egg omelet as mushrooms, chorizo and chicken sausage, while individually tasted great, the combination didn’t work for me. It was too dry, I felt? I am glad swapped out the hash browns for a lovely sweet potato pancake, but in the end, there was too much food and so again, it come down to me making wrong choices when I visited this time. The chai was spectacular and would absolutely get it again. However for next time, will try something else, but this time the food really was just a-ok for me! By far the best breakfast café in the US! Super delicious and service is top notch. My husband and I are here for a few days on business and visited Snooze every morning for breakfast. Our favorite dish is the quinoa porridge. Everything we ordered was delicious and the coffee has a nice flavor. We will be back on future trips to Denver.

The wait wasn’t long and the staff were super friendly. We ordered the chilaquiles and the beat sandwich, both were great options. The chilaquiles come with a rich flavored barbacoa on top of layers tortillas and a fried egg. Poco de gallo and the side which was delicious. The hash browns were the only thing that didn’t have much flavor… Very simple. However, everything else was good. I recommend the hot chocolate; comes with cinnamon sprinkles.

You snooze you lose if you don’t come here! =P While you wait to be seated, they have self serve coffee in the waiting area. Very pleasant and welcoming while you wait. Wait was 45 minutes, but it went by fast and was def worth the wait after we had the pancake flight and their breakfast pot pie. Sooooo delicious in every BITE! The 3 pancakes, I order their, French toast(bomb! if you like coconut shavings) yummy sauce drizzle on top. 2nd pancake was the peanut butter. So good, if you love peanut butter and chocolate!, and 3rd was the sweet potato pancake, topped with walnuts and creamy delicious sweet sauce. Every thing we got there was so good! On top of it, I had it Gluten free! Can’t even tell it was gluten free. So worth coming back here again, when I visit Denver! Def hit the spot! :)

I’ve been to Snooze several times a few years ago and have rated them one of my top brunch/breakfast places to hit up whenever I visit Denver however this time around I brought my family to introduce them to Snooze and I didn’t enjoy the food as much as I used to before and it wasn’t worth the 90 minute wait. We had the french toast which is extremely sweet and should be saved for dessert. It reminded me of a tres leches texture. The pancake flight we got gluten free peanut butter cup, pineapple special with ginger butter and sweet potato pancakes. If I had to choose which one was our favorite, it’s the peanut butter cup but even the chocolate and peanut butter syrup was really rich. The other 2 pancakes were unmemorable. I was bummed they didnt have red velvet flavor. They change up their flavors every so often. We also had the breakfast burrito with green chile hatch and although huge and very filling, it was nothing special. Was it worth their prices and waiting in line? Not really.

I’m not afraid to say it. Snooze is OK, not AMAZEBALLS. I meet a friend here for breakfast about one a quarter. I can only do breakfast… not brunch… only on weekdays. If you try to come here at any time on the weekend, your stomach will hate you because it will get so hungry waiting in line! I drive by here occasionally on Saturdays/Sundays and see groups of people waiting outside. The food here is good! I just don’t feel that ANY food is worth THAT long of wait. Ok, rant over. The food is good. A little pricey for my liking. They put some unique things together and make everything well. The server I had this time was really great. Nice guy who took small initiatives that made a big impact on our dining experience(offering to split the check for us before, offering more cream for our coffee, those kinds of things). If you’ve never been, go on a weekday(at 7:30) and enjoy a pretty good breakfast!

Amazing. Snooze serves food that is both delicious and affordable, and that is my favorite thing in life. We had to wait about 40 minutes for a table on a Monday morning around Christmastime, but we walked around the block a couple times, and the wait flew by. It was noisy and bustling in the restaurant, but in an energetic way that was just fun. Usually, when restaurants are too loud, they can feel like a cafeteria, but this was the frenetic energy of people in good moods and servers rushing around plates of tastey food. Our server was a total sweetheart. She gave the two of us a free pancake of the day, which was absolutely delicious. It’s not something I would have ordered as I don’t have much of a sweet tooth, but it was a perfect starter to share. Of course, after that, I could only eat half of my delicious huevos rancheros, but they made excellent leftovers. I had the bloody mary – the non-spicy version, cause I’m a wimp, and it was excellent. The décor is adorable mid-century modern; every employee I interacted with was friendly and helpful; and the food was freaking delicious. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up.

There was an unusual line of people waiting for a table on a Monday morning. That, however, didn’t stop my boyfriend and I from getting a table within 20 min, and getting our drinks and food order right away. So, my shout out goes to the workers at the restaurant. Hostess immediately grabbed our name, sent us a text letting us know they have our info, and pretty much rocked by being friendly while getting everything done quickly. We were impressed! You can tell everyone works there as a team and makes sure that tables are cleared immediately for people waiting. The food came pretty fast and, since we were in the hurry anyway, our server made sure our check came quickly as well. The food was delicious, but the impressive staff at Snooze definitely deserve a salute.

A layover in Denver had us staying with a friend and in search of breakfast! Our local friend insisted we go to Snooze, as it’s his favorite breakfast eatery around. We had a round of Spicy Bloody Mary’s that were really good. They came garnished with a peppered lemon wedge, a pickled cucumber and a cherry tomato. I ordered the Bella Bella Benny, an Eggs Benedict that had prosciutto, hollandaise, balsamic glaze and arugula. It was AWESOME. Huevos Rancheros was also an item ordered at my table and the plate was clean when the server cleared the dishes from our table. Our server was attentive, providing us with ketchup, hot sauce and refills, and the prices were reasonable :) Solid A

Snooze came highly recommended from the hotel staff. He was not kidding! This was amazing! Lots of unique offerings on their menu and the pancakes were fantastic! They even have fun mixed drinks(didn’t try). There was about a 20 minute wait when I arrived. However, the countertop is open seating so I waited about 5 minutes. The accepted technique is to hover near someone who looks like they are getting ready to leave and then grab the vacant spot :-) Staff was friendly and attentive from the moment I walked in the door to the time I left. Glad I took the time to enjoy Snooze!

Great food. Cool vibe. Ridiculously busy and they do not have an efficient wait system run by hostesses. Told 45 mins and seated 1.5hrs later. Watched people put in name after us seated before us. They don’t take reservations so plan for how to kill time while waiting. Bonus is they do give free coffee while waiting.

I’ve been here a few times and the food is consistently great! I was just here with my mom this week, and they have a new menu! I had the Chilaquiles Benedict and she had the Winter Harvest Benny. They were both amazing. The wait is absurd any day of the week, and I don’t think they even have Marion berry pancakes… but we get on the list and go for a pre-benedict walk. They text you when your table is ready so don’t stray too far.

I hate this place. I really do, and here is why: Food is NEVER ever consistent. Always get luke warm or down right cold food. The wait is ridiculous. For some reason people PILE in here like rats for a saturday/sunday feeding frenzy, causing the wait time to always be 40 – 60 min. Then you Will wait another 40 min for cold pretentious pancakes or few rubbery eggs you could have just cooked at home and saved yourself 10 or 12 bucks per plate. I have given snooze 3 chances, always thinking maybe next time it will be edible or satisfying, but it isn’t. As a matter of fact it has gotten worse each visit. Today was the final straw. Another loooong wait for food that tastes like it was prepared by toddlers or the mentally challenged. Sorry, but you can’t polish a turd. Won’t be back again, ever.

No place leaves me as hangry as Snooze. Sure its not exactly their fault that I had to wait nearly an hour on a recent weekday visit. And I guess I appreciate the free coffee and water provided while we wait. But I do blame Snooze for its very small portions that provide you little food while still paying top-dollar for breakfast. The Benedicts are super small that you can nearly eat the whole egg, meat and bread combo in one large bite. Then its served with a tiny cup(almost exactly measured in a cylinder) of potatoes. Many other places in town have tasty or even tastier Benedicts but with much less stingy portions. The sweet breakfast are just as tiny. OMG, I ate the OMG French Toast in two minutes and am still hungry. And where many other breakfast places would give you things on the side(bacon, toast, etc.), not Snooze, where almost every«extra» needs to be ordered for an extra cost. I get that fancy breakfasts/brunches are trendy now, but its not worth it to me to wait hungrily for an hour or more only be served(at a considerable wait once you are seated) tiny portions of only okay and overpriced food(seriously even among fancy breakfast places, Jelly and DJs are way better). When I leave Snooze, it’s not just my stomach that is growling.

Can I really call myself a true Coloradan or consider myself a brunch enthusiast if I haven’t been to snooze? This place has a lot of seating, nice booths, even patio seats. We waited around an hour before getting seated(we did come on a Saturday to be fair). There is parking available, but on weekends it’s pretty full! After the wait to be seated id say we only waited around 15 minutes for our food to arrive. I got the pancake flight, a flat white and bacon on the side which came out to $ 18.50. Not bad at all for brunch! I got a sweet potato pancake, peanut butter pancake and pineapple upside down pancake. The pancakes were delicious, but the sweet potato pancake didn’t impress me or standout in any way.

I like the food at Snooze. The service is decent too. My wife and I split a burrito and a flight of pancakes. The pancakes were the way I like it. .more cake than anything else. Decadent styles and flavors like peanut butter pancakes.. .yum. Of course that decadence comes with a cost. I would never bring my kids here, as my youngest has a peanut allergy. Yet there is a lot I don’t like about Snooze. The lines for one. It really isn’t THAT good. This isn’t the holy place of breakfast.. .yet expect to wait far longer than this experience seems to demand. The lack of paper towels in the restroom. If I wanted to go a gas station bathroom, I would Mr. Snooze. Don’t tell me its because of the environment(electric = coal powered mostly). its because your too cheap to f’n put in Paper towels. If I don’t have kids If someone else waits in line for me or there is no line.. i would go back. Yet this place is not one I try often –because the line is almost always far longer than the quality and experience.

Reason #5,323 of why I want to move to CO. Loooooooved this place. First of all, they offer free coffee while you wait for a table(honestly HOW can you not love them solely for this fact?!) They also take your phone number and text you when they’re getting a table ready for you, which means you can go peruse the aisles of the Trader Joe’s down the street while you wait if the urge strikes ;) The décor is retro-kitschy-diner and it just made my heart smile. We sat in a large circular booth near the window with a nice view of the bar, which looked like it was serving up some clever brunch cocktails. Food-wise, we tried two different omelets, the pancake sampler(pumpkin, lemon blueberry, and raspberry white chocolate), and the breakfast burrito with green chili. Everything was delicious and satisfying. This is a ‘DONOTMISS’ if you’re in the area!

I haven’t been to a Snooze because I can never see a time when a 2 hour wait for a table to eat brunch seems like a good idea. However, a group of new moms and I went on a Tuesday morning. The 25 minute wait was somehow extended repeatedly until it was 1 hour — not so fun with 4 babies under 2 months on a cold day. Once inside though, they were so accommodating of our strollers and car seats. They even had a sling to put at the end of our booth to hold one of the car seats! The waitress was friendly and the food was great. The prices are a bit more than other brunch spots, but the quality is evident. All and all, I probably won’t be back unless they start taking reservations. However, it was an overall good experience.

I could tell from the people occupying themselves with sidewalk chalk and outdoor patio games that this place was popular and there was a decent wait to get in. Luckily a friend of mine had gotten there early so I personally didn’t have to wait too long! The interior was bright and colorful — buzzing with activity and excitement. Our waitress was amazing and very attentive but gave us the perfect amount of time to decide on what to eat, etc. We got the pancake flight and the breakfast pot pie. I also ordered a hot chocolate for kicks. Our flight consisted of the pineapple upside down pancakes, the pancake of the day(cherry compote with almond crumble), and the drunk’en punk’en pancakes. They were all amazing and light — very flavorful and unique. They weren’t too sweet but had just enough sugar to be tasty. The breakfast pot pie was delicious as well. I loved the flakey pastry and gravey along with the tasty hashbrowns on the side. The hot chocolate was pretty good — it wasn’t as creamy as I thought it would be and not super hot but it had a beautiful Snooze written in chocolate on the foam. I would definitely recommend this place to brunch fans but be prepared to wait!

Don’t hit snooze on your alarm the morning you’re hittin’ this joint up. Due to its popularity and hella good breakfast, you’ll be waiting for a table. Don’t give up hope if you have a 45 min. wait because THEWAITISWELLWORTHIT. My breakfast counterpart and I were visiting Denver during vacation and were told to check out Snooze by multiple people. I’m a huge breakfast fan so I’m always game. My counterpart ordered the OMG! french toast and completely melted out of his seat after the first bite. I mean really… how can you go wrong with brioche stuffed with mascarpone and topped with vanilla crème, salted caramel, fresh strawberries and toasted coconut. Yeah… OMG. I chose the Banana Nutella stuffed french toast because, hello, Nutella. It was unreal. My mouth is watering as I type. We shared a side of bacon and let me tell you, this was killer bacon. Sliced thick and fried to perfection. Not too crispy but not too limp. Limp… Ha! Snooze knows how to do breakfast and do it the right way. They have a changing menu depending on the season. If you go in July you won’t see the same menu when you visit in December. That’s fresh. I cannot wait until I can sink my teeth into some Snooze french toast again!

Come early! This is a great breakfast joint, and everyone seems to know it. If you’re not early, be prepared to wait. Even if you have to wait, it’s worth it. The menu is seasonal, but it offers so many non-traditional breakfast items. They have the staple items, but they put their own twist on them. I ordered a «flight» of pancakes. The daily special was a Cap’n Crunch pancake with a crunch berry«syrup» and graham cracker topping. This was by far my favorite followed by the cinnamon roll pancake. My third pancake was the drunken pumpkin pancake with bourbon maple syrup. I’m not a big fan of pumpkin, but wanted to try it anyway. It was good, but not one I would order again. My mom ordered the salmon egg benedict, and it was pretty tasty! I liked the Cap’n Crunch pancake more, but if that wasn’t available, I’d order the salmon egg benedict.

I came in today to try this place out as a guest of the area and the 3 hostesses helped out eagerly to start it off! The place is hip, friendly and positive. I had to try the pineapple upside pancake a la cart, then I got a full order of corned beef hash and a togo order of green chili verde if I’m only able to come once, my lunch and dinner had to be covered. I ordered three very popular items but honestly everything looked good as I waited not very long. Every second tho was long when staring down others orders The corned beef hash was the best of the three, followed by the pancake then lastly by a bit was the chile verde(ate it hours later cold so slight unfair comparison). The hash had the slight crunch, mixed with cooked quality corn beef seasoned perfectly without any need to add any. The large pancake was smooth, like a dessert but not too much sugar to overload you and put you in a coma. There were a variety of extra ingredients that made it almost taste wholesome. I could eat a million of them but glad I only got one for my stomach’s size. FYI: long wait but I got a seat at the oval bar right away and saved like 45 mins of time.

LOVELOVELOVE this restaurant! I frequent the eighth and Colorado location. The only reason this restaurant does not get five stars is because of the obvious long lines and wait you have to get in. But they do have corn hole if you get bored! I especially love the extremely detailed and nuanced menu. This restaurant is very gluten-free friendly, with the best pancakes in town. Yesterday I had the gluten-free strawberry shortcake pancake which was more of a dessert followed after the hashbrowns and eggs Benedict. The staff is super friendly and positive, even though it is always bat shit crazy when you go inside. I always try to hit them up before they close around 130 or 2PM. Things to definitely try: The Quinoa porridge Pineapple upside down pancake The banana Nutella situation French toast Ham Benedict
