Very tastey subs and delivery was like 15 minutes which is awesome. Staff is very friendly, I would highly recommend the Turkey sandwich! The soup and potato salad is super good! Keep up the great work Snarfs!

No change in review for me. I think what annoys me is the bread to meat ratio when compared to the price. My sandwiches always seem to have too much bread and the tips are always bare. I feel like if they brought their food cost down from 45% to 43%, that would make all the difference. Occasionally I go back, so what do I know or care really.

Have only bought perhaps half a dozen sandwiches from them so far, but have been absolutely delighted with them so far. The desserts(brownies, cookies, etc) could use some improvement, but they don’t make those AFAIK, and heck: it’s a sandwich shop, I’m not expecting crème brûlée. Their sandwiches are generous, priced right, fresh, the bread is great, the call-ahead ordering has always been fast and convenient. We’ll keep going there as long as they’re in the neighborhood and don’t change much…

Have always loved Snarfs! And this really sucks! But, after last night, will never go back. Have had a couple problems with the northwest Snarfs, but it was nothing to stop me from going back. My fiancée had Snarfs last night and had the worst food poisoning of her life. Have filed a complaint with Denver Department of Food and Environment, and if you have had this experience I urge you to do the same!

Good, fast, some unique options. Can get a little pricey if you like to add on to your sandwich. ..

I like this place. It’s really a treat after eating Jimmy John’s. They seem to use good quality ingredients combined with generous serving sizes. This location is located in the Highlands and has easy/ample parking. The décor is funky with their music hitting all the right notes. Definitely recommended!

Disregard the haters! Snarf’s makes good sandwiches that you don’t have to wait long for. This location is one of the newer shops in the expanding fleet and they are doing things right to be growing like this. My go to sandwich is the Ham with Swiss. I find the bread to be a perfect balance between crusty(not cut your mouth crusty) and chewy. The ideal vehicle for your choice of goodies. If you’re a fan of hot I’d suggest adding the Giardiniera to your sandwich. It’s popular and they sell it by the jar as well. Rock on Snarf’s!

I stopped in with my brother for lunch on Saturday. I really loved the atmosphere of this place – it was funky and comfortable and they play the best pop music. I ordered a corned beef sandwich on wheat, and I thought it was delicious. The bread was definitely the best part! My brother had a French dip and it looked amazing. I thought this place was tasty and worth the visit. I do think it was a bit expensive, but for a sometimes treat I would come in again.

Very tasty sandwich! I enjoyed the potato salad, different version of potato salad. We need one in COS.

Dude… Snarfs is rad. I have their app and I place my order and pick it up 15 minutes later, no waiting in line, and my order is always perfect. The sandwiches are gourmet! I am so happy they are here in my hood. Definitely an awesome and much needed addition to the Highlands.

I really enjoy Snarf’s Italian sandwich. I was able to download their app and get 50% off my first purchase, which was nice. I prefer coming to this one over the Golden location because parking is a lot easier. I’ve ordered through the app twice, and both times my orders were correct and ready when they should be. I am definitely a regular customer!

I have to bump this up to the full blown 5-Stars! I try to eat here at least once a week if I can. I just can’t get enough of their sandwiches. Especially one in particular. The flavors are always there and always spot on. The bread is always fresh and the right amount of crispy and the staff is always friendly. For all the other reviewers that are complaining about the wait… first of all you can’t rush perfection, and secondly they have this sweet little app or telephone that allows you to place your order ahead. What’s cool is you can use the app and then show up ready to snarf. The tuna with everything is my drug of choice at Snarfs, throw in those Voodoo Zapps chips and you’re in for an overdose.

Out of Gluten Free Bread!!! Really?! At 12:33PM?! Left frustrated and disappointed. I wasted ten minutes of my lunch break just standing in line. Won’t be going back.

Snarf’s has the best sandwiches in town. They are toasted perfectly and have just the right amount of meat and toppings. They also have a friendly staff that usually make your sandwich in a snap. My faves are the Italian or French Dip with au jus. They also have Zapps chips as a side which are quiet possibly the best chips out there! Yum Yum Yum!

I am writing this follow up because I took a break from Snarf’s after my last visit and because Jill P from Snarf’s was kind and professional enough to write a reply to my last review. I think Jill P’s response is great. She acknowledged the shortcomings and said they would address them. This was my first visit back since and I needed something to eat after my workout, so Snarf’s it was at 11:15 am! I am going to try and come back in the later afternoon to see how they fair after the lunch rush, but this late morning I needed food! The restaurant was clean, neat and relaxed… chill music playing in the background made me super happy. I decided to change it up a bit and forgo the French dip in favor of the eggplant parmesan. Wow, this sandwich will be my new go-to when ordering at Snarf’s. The bread was crusty and the eggplant was firm, but nicely roasted and the mozzarella made the sandwich so decadent. Holy yum! Happy to be back there again and eating my favorite new sandwich!

I’d bring my rating up a star if they could speed things up behind the counter. I’d bring it up one more star if the dining area was cleaner. I see why so many get orders to go! Lastly, I’d give it 5 stars if they lowered the prices a little. Almost $ 30 for two 7″ sandwiches, two drinks, two snack bags of chips and two brownies? Maybe some sort of meal deal? Sandwiches were tasty and stuffed with meat. That’s what the two stars are for.

This was really a 1 star experience, but because their sandwiches are so good I’m giving them 3 stars. My guy and I were heading back to town and knowing they don’t move quickly phoned in our order. We got there 15 minutes later, paid and waited. And waited. And waited. We watched staff milling about not cooking or doing anything. We were going on 40 minutes from the time we called and they still hadn’t called our name. Finally my patience ran out and my stomach was grumbling loudly. Turns out they gave our sandwiches to someone else. They gave us a full refund, but we still had to wait another 10 minutes while they made our order. Really disappointing.

I have been eating Snarfs for over a decade and have regularly ordered at both the Boulder locations as well as the Ballpark location in Denver. I love love love Snarfs! This review makes me sad. My work place is just down the road from this new Highlands location and I have eaten here numerous times since they opened. My orders have been rather inconsistent and missing items. They employees are not very pleasant when I call the store to even just place an order. Also they will not deliver to my work place which is only 1.7 miles away yet told me they have a 2 mile delivery area. I understand this is a new business and employees are probably still getting a handle of the store but after so long and so many bad orders I will be not be eating here any more. Please, train your staff on customer service and take another look at your delivery area. I want to see Snarfs succeed and expand but its not going to happen with terrible food, missing items, and bad service!

Yay!!! Snarf’s finally opened — it seems like we’ve been waiting forever… My hubby and I used to go to the Snarf’s at 11th and Ogden and loved it. We were so happy to see Snarf’s move in to our neighborhood — just a short walk from our house. Why do I love Snarf’s: 1. Great bread — crunch on the outside, soft and toasty on the inside. Not too much bread so your ingredients aren’t overwhelmed. NOTE: if you’re a «soft bread sub» person, you will not like Snarf’s. I don’t understand these people — seriously, soft-soggy bread? 2. Great ingredients: the Classic Italian is killer with loads of Italian meats and cheeses. I opt for just a bit of oil and vinegar along with a healthy smattering of their signature hot pepper mixture. The meatball sub is also very good. In an effort to branch out, I recently tried the Smoked Brisket with BBQ sauce and swiss and think I have found new sub-love. Not too much sauce, tender smoked brisket(lots of it) and melted cheese. What’s not to love about that. I’m assuming that the salads are good — they look good — but with as much as I love me a good salad, I’m not wasting my time/$ on a salad when I can have an amazing sub. 3. Inventive menu: you can stay in your comfort zone with the Italian, Meatball or Veggie or you can take a walk on the wilder side(see smoked brisket reference), Eggplant Parmesan, Artichoke, Feta & Provolone, New York Steak and Provolone etc. Whether you’re a veggie or meat lover, you will find a sub that tickles your fancy. 4. It’s popular! I love people who moan about the line or the wait for their sandwich. If the food wasn’t good, there would not be a line. The longest I’ve ever waited for a sandwich(after ordering) was probably 10 minutes, max. 5. Atmosphere — much more open and pleasant than their 11th and Ogden location. But, there is no air-lock, so on a cold day you want to sit as far away from the door as possible. Snarf’s is a GREAT addition to Berkeley.

Opening Day for the 18th in this growing chain. Large happy crowd at Noon. Tons of sunshine pouring in through all the windows. Vibrant color scheme is wild. The music is the right genre and the volume is just right. Plenty of parking spaces. My Italian on white was as expected. Delicious. Good quality and quantity. I have been and still am a fan of Snarf’s. I am very happy to see an abandoned building renovated and looking sharp. — No Wi-Fi. — The heating system is going to struggle on cold Winter days/nights.
