This place is a totally random spot to visit. It takes me back to the old school days of grandma speaking to me in Spanish and giving me delicious treats. I never knew what she was saying or the name of any of the treats.
I don’t know the name of anything I buy here, but there is always someone around go speak to me in Spanish. Just like my youth.

Stumbled into this quaint Mexican bakery while visiting Hong Kong Café. Must say they have a large variety of pastries/​cookies. Nothing fancy, just good olé’ simple deliciousness. Grab a cafeteria tray and a pair if tongs and start loading up. The flaky looking pastries were just that… flaky and light. We enjoyed the large coconut cookie and flat cinnamon roll looking pastry. (Sorry I don’t know the names of them) It would of been nice to see note labels for all the different types, but the prices are so cheap, you can afford to get one of each? Buen provecho!

Fairly large store with big, impressive glass cabinets (like 8 of them) well-​stocked with quite a variety of desserts and breads. Standard serving trays are used to collect items, which doesn’t seem the most sanitary. The woman working the counter was prompt and helpful. There’s only only small tables to sit at, and staff was sitting at one of them. Prices are marked on paper bags, and there aren’t any napkins if you want to eat there; it’s quite bare-​bones. The chocolate croissant-​like pastry with unnatural pink strawberry filling was pretty tasty. The cake-​y dessert tasted like it was baked out of a box. This appears to be a sister store of the same on Federal Boulevard.

Awesome little panaderia where you can get freshly baked bread and pastries really really cheap! Around 80 cents for each pastry and $ 1 for 4 sandwich buns. Love this place.
