In the midst of Rocky Dogs, stadium nachos, and all the fried food that a ballpark can handle enters Right Field Greens, and I for one was happy to see it as an option during my trips to Rockies games last year and now this one. Being a fan of build-your-own anything I have to say I especially enjoy this concept when making a salad and that’s exactly what you can do here. You start by picking your lettuce(spinach or spring mix are 2 of the 4 choices) and then you can add in 5 other ingredients. While you may not have the selection of a big salad shop the choices they have are better than decent such as chickpeas, bell pepper medleys, green peas, bacon, and many of the standards like tomatoes, cucumbers, cheese, croutons, etc. Then you pick out a dressing(they’ll mix it in for you or give it to you on the side), pay your $ 8.50 and head to your seat. Additionally, for another $ 2 you can throw tofu, chicken, or mini shrimp into your bowl. Is it kind of expensive for what you get? Sure. But, what isn’t at a baseball park?(Or any sporting event/arena for that matter.) But, it is fairly fresh and I like that I don’t always have to have a grease bomb for food when I’m watching the Rockies slug it out on the field. Last tip — they have a cooler of various drinks that go above and beyond most of the other stand selections like vitaminwater for example.
