A small take out/delivery place but the food is incredible. The calzone I had was the best I’ve had in Colorado. Huge calzone, full of meat and the sauce was great. Prices are incredible and the guys working there work hard to make it right. Do yourself a favor and stop in or call for delivery.

Fast, friendly shop. I was greeted by everyone that works there. Nice atmosphere, and the best thing of all is the food is great. Calzones are amazing!

Found this place totally on accident. Our caterer fell through last minute and we needed food ASAP! Called Primos up and boy did they deliver. I saved almost $ 40 and the food tasted so much better then the previous place we used to order from. Great pizza and pastas! If you like spicy go with the«Fire Zone» or «Mini Bombs». They are both amazing.

Nice little family owned shop. Had the BBQ chicken pizza, and it had good flavor. Also had a mini now, with sausage and it was definitely a bargain. Yummy cheap treat. Might as well get a bunch for a party. Calzones are huge! Check out this place for lunch and maybe take food home. Not much room for dining in

This place is fantastic! We stopped at Primo’s today to get food for our family of 8 while we waiting on our candy factory tour to start. I don’t know if you have kids, but when there are 6 of them, aged 2 – 13, quiet with the exception of «MMmmmmm», you know you have found a winner of a restaurant. The pizza is absolutely delicious. That isn’t all though, I wish I would have taken his name but the man that took our order was so polite and helpful. He got the big tables outside covered for us and brought our pizza and plates outside to us, and he even checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. This was also during a time when they were trying to put a delivery of their own away. It was really nice to see a customer first mentality there! The prices are the next thing. They are extremely reasonable, especially for how good the pizza is. Our experience today was probably one of the best I’ve had at a pizza joint. I highly recommend Primo’s!!! We will be back.

I was excited to try this placed based upon all of the reviews. I ordered a cheese pizza and a side of ravioli. I feel like a simple cheese pizza is a good gauge of a pizza joint. Well… If you like Pizza Hut, then you are in luck because the cheese they use tastes exactly like that on a Pizza Hut deep-dish pizza. Actually, there were moments when I forgot that I WASN’T eating a Pizza Hut deep-dish pizza. The raviolis were large and decent, but they were covered in the same Pizza Hut cheese. I wish Denver could do pizza, but we just can’t :(

The food here is great, however I always get delivery. Whoever it is that is taking the order is ALWAYS rude, seems irritated, and put off by taking my order. Additionally, they always say delivery time is an hour and a half, and do I want to wait, so as to try to deter me from ordering delivery. I always say yes because I enjoy the food and the delivery NEVER takes that much time. So, if you want good food, Primo’s is good stuff, but their staff are unprofessional.

Love their pizzas! But if you want a salad… They’re just so-so. It was mixed greens, mozzarella cheese shreds, olives(which I hate) and mushrooms(which I hate). They’d do well to supe up the greeneries!

We used to use Domino’s pizza because it was fast and cheap… but a run in with one of the drivers stopped all of that. So we tried Primo’s as they were just down the street… and wow… it’s less expensive and we feel like we are actually getting real food… the kids are just in love with the pizza’s and my husband loves the Calzones… I tried the salad with chicken and it was really really great. Don’t pass up the opportunity to order from these guys… a locally owned business and they are super friendly. Now off to order dinner!

Their pizza is great but their spaghetti and meatballs is, simply put, out of this world. This place is a little bit out of the way for me but their food and service is so good that I don’t mind driving a little bit farther away to enjoy some of the best Italian food in all of Denver.

I wish I had known this place had opened sooner! I live in Welby, just south of 88th and Devonshire, and I found a flyer for Primo’s on my door a couple of weeks back. Threw it in the stack of other menus and restaurant advertisements near the refrigerator, with every intention of trying it sooner rather than later. Later turned out to be tonight. I lost track of time while working on a project and realized it was 7 p.m. and I hadn’t even thought about dinner. No way was I cooking, not tonight. I picked up the stack of menus and saw the one for Primo’s there on top. Then I noticed they close at 8 p.m. Would they still deliver? I called them, and talked to a very nice young man who told me they were, in fact, still taking delivery orders. I took a quick look at their menu(wish they had included a menu with the flyer; I had to look them up online to get the full menu) and the calzones immediately caught my eye. I hadn’t really had a good one since a visit to Italy a couple of years ago. So I ordered two and was informed it would be about thirty minutes before they showed up on my doorstep. A little less than 20 minutes later the delivery guy arrived and handed me two foil-wrapped packages and two cups of tomato sauce. I made my way back to the kitchen and unwrapped the first calzone. To say these calzones are better than the ones I had in Italy would be sacrilege, right? So I won’t say that. I will say that these are the absolute best calzones I’ve ever had outside of Italy. The dough was perfectly cooked, and the fillings were delicious. Melted cheeses and tomato sauce and pepperoni … Yep, this is good eating. Excellent! These guys are located at 7174 Washington St. but don’t appear to be offer a sit-down dining experience. The flyer and the menu advertise«take out, delivery and catering.» That’s too bad … I would love to sit down and order a sampling from the menu. Oh, well … the delivery is fast so that’ll do for now. In addition to calzones, they offer a variety of sides including meatballs, garlic bread, cream cheesy bread, and Italian Wedding Soup. Some mighty fine sounding pizzas and pasta dishes make up the rest of the straight-forward, appealing menu. Good job, guys, and welcome to the neighborhood!

Primo’s is right by my office, and whenever I go there around lunch time, I’m getting Primo’s. Not only does it have the added benefit of being right on my way home from the office, it’s well priced(Tues and Thurs they have a $ 5 Lunch special which gets you two big slices and a drink). I wouldn’t say I’m a NY-style pizza connoisseur, but their sauce is tasty and they don’t skimp on the cheese(which you’d normally expect for a low priced pizza place). Their recipe does something amazing for my taste buds, and their staff is super chill every time I’ve been in. Like another reviewer said, they’re small and locally owned, so I like supporting them, and I hope to be able to dine there for many years to come. I haven’t been able to try any of their other menu items, but only because their pizza was amazing the first time I got it, and every time since. Why fix it if it ain’t broke? One thing I will say is that I always get take-out; they only have like 3 chairs and a small bar-type counter to eat at. Not suggested to eat in with a group.

Passed by here with a friend after dropping his car off for a tune-up, and decided to give it a try. He had a sandwich, and I had some wings. The adage still holds true– you pay for what you get. The staff was fast and friendly, and the restaurant had that nice local business feel, so I felt good patronizing them. It did the job, and I would swing by again if I were in that neck of the woods and needed a snack. If the pizza is as good as the other reviewer suggests, they could certainly go up a star for me.

Awesome pizza. I haven’t been«wowed» by the other stuff I’ve tried, but the pizza… yup, big fan. Super friendly staff. Great prices. Glad to have them in my neighborhood.
