I have heard numerous positive things about Dr. Considine, so I was actually pleased to be referred this way.
What I was not pleased about what the rude, impolite, and snarky receptionist who answered the phone. She was brash when I inquired about an appointment earlier than the two weeks out as I had a potentially-​serious medical issue, with her responding with a «I said the 10^th, it is the 10^th». When I said I had a potentially-​serious medical issue and asked if there were any ways to squeeze me in earlier, she replied «no, like I SAID. You must have a pre-​set appointment like everyone else».
No one could be bothered to return my two voicemails I left. I was placed on hold 3 different times for 15 minutes each, was disconnected twice, and had to hang up the 3^rd time.
When I tried to cancel my appointment as I could be seen for my medical issue by another ENT earlier, she abruptly placed me on hold again, only to disconnect several minutes later.
I’m half-​expecting a bill for a cancellation to appear in my mailbox from the obviously ill-​equipped, incompetent, very confused, and unprofessional reception staff.

Dr. Considine is wonderful — compassionate, patient and great at what she does. My 2 ½ year old son needed his tonsils removed and I was not happy about the idea of him having surgery. Dr. Considine is not only wonderful with children, but also their stressed-​out mothers. I left her office feeling good about my decision and certain she was the right doctor for us. The surgery went really well, she spent a lot of time with us afterwards, and made sure to follow up with us after the surgery. Plus, she is easy to get on the phone (how many doctors call you back w/​in the hour?).
