This place had a drink promotion my boyfriend and I took advantage of and we ended up ordering food as well. The fish tacos were really good and the service was great. We ordered the bartenders choice small fishbowl and were pleasantly surprised. I’d definitely go back here.

Shame on me for ordering the Gyro. But, in my defense the waitress told me the standard gyro mystery meat was sliced fresh off the rotisserie. What I received was dried out jerky like strips. Not fresh in anyway. Being with a new acquaintance for lunch I decided not to send it back. Onion rings were good, service good. Gyro… bad. The moral to this story… order Gyro’s from greek joints exclusively!

The best cheesecake I have ever had in my life! not to mention the burgers, I’m a sucker for good guacamole and let me assure that the Paramount not only delivers fully on flavor; but even more so in service, the staff made me feel right at home. Back to the cheesecake though, my god! It was better than the cheesecake factory times 20, no questions ask. Each bite was an individual mouthgasm. 10⁄10

The food was really amazing and so was the scenery, but the service really sucked and the silverware was dirty. Think they could do better. Waited on our drink for 30minutes. Got our food before our drink smh.

Service was slow. We stopped for apps and drinks and it seemed like it took forever for our server to take our order for anything. We were done with the appetizers before our beer arrived.

Menu here is pretty generic. Highlight of the place is location and the patio. Plenty of people watching to be done if you sit outside. We each had sandwiches and a beer, nothing special about either, but no reason to complain either.

I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was awesome! Buttery challah bread bun, sweet and tangy coleslaw on top. Very delicious!

I used to love the Paramount Café, and frequented it often, however I will no longer be spending my money there. Last night, my boyfriend and I attempted to go to this restaurant around midnight because we knew it’s supposed to be open until two AM. Was very disappointed to find the doors locked with guests still inside and the staff acting as if we weren’t there. Very unprofessional behavior.

Nice café with indoor and outdoor seating. Simple menu with local flavors. The Albuquerque Turkey sandwich was great. Good service and reasonably priced.

Was recently staying at a hotel on the 16th street mall, so although I wasn’t really wanting to eat a lot on there, it was walkable. I liked the overall feel of the place, and the service was pretty good. My group ordered a variety of sandwiches, all of which had good reviews(however now I can’t remember what any of them were). Sweet potato fries were excellent. Would return if in this area again.

The fries were nothing special, and way too salty. I had the gorganzolza bison burger, and that was amazing. The atmosphere was louder than I would prefer, but not as loud as some of the neighboring joints.

Fish tacos: more lettuce than fish and the fish had more batter than fish. Came with a tiny bit of plain white rice. Would not return.

We arrived at around 12:05(typical lunch time). Our server was either overwhelmed or just bad at his job. The beers on draft were«out» but we finally landed on 2 that were available. They didn’t take our order for 30 minutes and the food didn’t come out for another 45 minutes after that. Despite the slow service the food was fine(not 1 hour and 15 minutes fine). Then, when it was time to go, our server was nowhere to be found. The manager did come by to, seemingly, get criticized but we just wanted to be done and leave. There are plenty of other options around with similar menus. This place is a novelty but, simply put, terrible and slow.

Some girlfriends and I came in before a show at the Paramount Theater and we were all disappointed with the experience. The service was very slow and we would be ignored for long periods of time. The food was just very average, and unfortunately my fries came out cold by the time they got to me. We split the bill between the three of us and one of my friends actually got their card ran twice instead. I’m sure there are better options on 16th Street.

My last experience was pretty whack. First they kung fu’ed their HH into bits, now it’s all cocked and screwy. Additionally, I noticed they don’t list the price for most of their beers, so it’s a real expensive guessing game. They have a lot of good beer choices I think, but the service was so terrible I just got up and left. It’s funny how thing can flip flop in the service industry, huh?

Love the casual atmosphere. Friendly staff. Great Happy Hour specials! I was greeted promptly by a very friendly host! Menu had enough options to please anyone’s desires. Try the peperchini pickle shot… yummy! Big Nose Wheat on tap was awesome! I had the fish and chips and left very satisfied! Love that they offer an outdoor patio area great for people watching!

I was walking around the city with my brother in law’s girlfriend when we decided we were hungry. We walked down the 16th street looking at all the options and randomly settled on this place. First time in there for both of us, but we really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is fun and the music they play was definitely my style. The menu is what brought us in, and their fish tacos did not disappoint. Wish I lived nearby and could go back to try more things including drinks and desserts. Even so, I had a great ladies lunch out with my friend and would surely recommend this place.

This is a great late night stop after a night on the town or a night of drinking at the Great American Beer Festival. The food is decent, as is the drink selection and the price is right. Service can be hit or miss but you won’t leave hungry or thirsty for that matter. Try their giant burrito!

Good food and decent prices. Anything amazing, well yes the green chili for sure. I would eat many bowls of it. Had the desperado burger tonight but have had their chorizo mac and cheese and steak frites before, all of which were good.

I hadn’t been to Paramount Café in a super long time, so since it’s close to our office, we chose the Paramount for our Christmas Eve lunch. The service was great; fast friendly and efficient; our server even offered to issue separate checks(there were only three of us) which I thought was very very nice of her(I wish I’d gotten her name); if she hadn’t offered, we would not have asked. The food was delicious; one friend and I each got the fish & chips, and our other friend got the Muy Macho Burrito. I would recommend Paramount Café to anyone looking for a casual inexpensive spot for great food and a happy atmosphere! I’ll definitely be back again, sooner rather than later!
