This bar is one of my favorite places to stop and hang out when I’m at the 16th street mall area. The staff and bartenders are friendly and very good at recommending drinks. The margaritas are excellent and the chips are made in house and have a very unique taste! Brad is one of my favorite bartenders and is very good at making any drink you ask for!

Lime is one of my favorite restaurants! Their Taco Tuesdays are legit. You can’t beat their $ 1 tacos and $ 5 Margs! They get super busy in the summer on Tuesdays and weekends so you have to be patient with service but I don’t mind! They are working their butts off!

Update: Their Taco-Tuesday sucks! Come on now… this is your day to shine! Unfortunately, their $ 1 tacos are tiny and the soft corn shells fall apart leaving you to eat your taco with a fork. Their margarita«special» for Taco Tuesday is also garbage. Also, they blast music(seriously unnecessarily loud) on Tuesday. All in all, a good place to visit during happy hour from Wednesday through Monday. But I do NOT recommend this place for Taco Tuesday.

Had some food and drinks here on Taco Tuesday with a group of friends and was impressed with the Tacos! Not excellent by any means but pretty damn good… Especially for just a Buck! The guy that was waiting on us was a sorry excuse for a server though. He literally would stop by our table, ask if anyone wanted anything and then take off before anyone could say what they wanted(mainly me), he also brought us our checks after the first round of drinks as if to hurry us out! Luckily his shift was ending and we were taken better care of by a sweet female server. All in all it was a nice place to have food and drinks downtown, I would’ve given at least 4 stars if it weren’t for the first guy that was serving us. Parking is super expensive in the pavillions pkg garage before 5pm too

Very very mediocre. Food very bland. Chips were not very tasty. In fact we only ate a few. Huge potential if they critically look at their menu.

So I’m here visiting family for the week in Denver and I stumbled across the place while shopping in the Denver Pavilions last Sunday. Today my family and I went to eat and it exceeded my expectations. The staff was very nice and friendly and our waitress was very nice and she made sure we were taken care of. I wish I would have gotten her name she was really nice. One of the best service I’ve had in a while. The food was so good. I had the Margarita Mariscos. Must try! As a family we shared a Margarita tub. It was a bit strong but it was ok because nothing is worse than a weak drink. Oh and at the end when it was time for the check, we were given complimentary tequila shots inside little lemons! How awesome is that? Wouldn’t definitely be back here when I come back to Denver.

Now that we’ve started making Taco Tuesday a regular thing, I must update my review and add a star. I really love the ground beef, shredded beef and carnitas tacos here. Those are not typically my favorite variety of taco but they are spicy and much more flavorful than the other options. I’ve also grown to love the smoky, chipotle-heavy salsa and on one visit, I asked for a small condiment cup to take what was left in my salsa bowl home with me, and the server brought out a new, large plastic tub of salsa for me! So awesome and unexpected. I also love the $ 5 margs on Taco Tuesday. Our favorite bartender for many years in Denver now works here and he takes great care of us and everyone else at the bar. We had one incident over the summer where we sat in the front bar area and were served virgin margs(admittedly from the bartender) so I suggest sticking to the big back bar and look for Scott, the dapper fellow in glasses!

TACOTUESDAY! I can’t get enough of the $ 2 tacos that they serve on Tuesdays. I’m also in love with their flour tortilla chips that are super warm and thick. The salsa as well as the guacamole is to die for and some of the best I’ve had in the area. I’ve had almost all of their different tacos and have yet to consume one I wasn’t satisfied with. In my opinion, Taco Tuesday is the best time to visit Lime. I can’t get enough of their $ 5 house margaritas as well which are a perfect addition to anyones dish.

Yay! I’m a fan — indeed! Certainly a fave place whenever at the Denver Pavilions — especially before or after a movie… or happy hour cocktails… This time around I was there for a fun lunch… Always amazing, lively and fun service, and the food is just wonderful. I enjoyed the fish tacos; tasty & fresh… paired of course with a nice Mexican beer! Recommend asking for the special treat served in halved limes :)

DISAPPOINTMENT all around. I don’t write many reviews, but I really want to help other people avoid this mistake. My wife and I even had a babysitter for a date night when we went so it really made this a complete waste. The place has potential, and the space is really modern — but what a failure on everything else. Service was sub par — fake nice enough — but our server rolled her eyes as soon as she left other tables, so a good bet she did that when she left ours as well. Food is bad(driest chicken I’ve ever eaten in my 40 years). Cocktails were overpriced and watery as well. $ 10 for a really crap drink? Both of ours were so bad we stopped there and stuck with water. For dinner we ordered combo fajitas and a chicken entrée along with a $ 1 taco Tuesday shredded beef hard corn taco. Place was busy due to $ 1 tacos. Server complained that Taco Tuesday is her least favorite night to work. yay? My wife told the server that she had a «passport coupon» for buy 1/get one. Server said that’s great. When the food came out the hard taco was soggy and the portion of fajitas was hilariously small. They were served with only three small tortillas which might make sense for such a small portion. This wasn’t happy hour fajitas, so I asked the busboy if I could see a manager. When he came out I politely explained that $ 17 worth of steak/chicken fajitas was minuscule and he agreed. At that time, our server then piped up and said«but they are using the passport». SO, my take is if we use a coupon that we paid $ 50 for we get smaller portions? Where is that stated? The manager said he’d bring some more fajitas to make the portion right and that was it. We got them and asked for a couple of tortillas to eat them with. We ended up getting charged $.75 for the«extra» tortillas?! We asked about the charge and she explained that’s how it is. If you are downtown, avoid Lime. SOMANY better options. We had a show across the street at the Paramore + the passport so we gave them a try. We rarely use coupons/groupons, but if you have one at Lime, don’t tell them until the end of the meal. Want crappy service, bad food, and an even worse taste in your mouth? — check them out! Unfortunately Lime = worst meal experience of 2015. Just bad. Thanks for nothing Lime.

Surprisingly, the place wasn’t crowded at all for a Saturday night, especially being located in the middle of 16th Street mall. Came here for a bachelorette party dinner with a big group and they had a private area reserved for us with decorations and balloons. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and a couple platters of all the different tacos for everyone to share. Margaritas were flowing and tequila shots all around. The food was mediocre. Normal, Americanized, bland Mexican food. We didn’t mind though since we weren’t expecting to have a fancy or nice dinner. For our type of gathering, it was a perfect spot. I probably wouldn’t return unless it was during happy hour or on Tuesday where there are food and drink specials.

Taco Tuesdays … surprisingly a great taco, had the carnitas and steak options and they were really good! And then you find out they are only $ 1 each … great price, great food, and the bar staff was lots of fun and kept us topped off. Really appreciated the great customer service. Keep in mind that they actually close around 11p or midnight … the hours on Unilocal are based on business … if they are busy they will stay open past 11 … but usually by 112 they are closing … even on the weekends …

I knew going in that Lime would be nothing like the Mexican food I’ve grown accustomed to in Arizona. Plus, I’ve lived in Colorado for a good chunk of time and know that finding decent Mexican food can be a challenge. But I didn’t really go for the food; I went for the company of some friends I hadn’t seen in ages. We were seated in the bar area and our server was rather attentive at first. I didn’t try any of the margaritas here, but my friends seemed to enjoy their flavored boozy concoctions. The complimentary chips and salsa: I wasn’t a fan of the overly sweet, pretending to be smokey salsa; however, the fat kid in me was doing backflips over those deep fried flour tortilla chips! I ordered the Grilled Steak Burrito($ 13.95): Filled with refried beans, cheese, and I opted to have it covered in both the Green and Red Chile. The meat was really tough, and the«Chile» was watery. These guys should be embarrassed to call it Chile. It was lacking in seasoning, too. Come on, guys, don’t be afraid of salt in small quantities! At that point, I tried to eat half of it so I wouldn’t have to grab food anywhere else before getting home. Also, my friend ordered Street Tacos and we were both amused these came out on Mini Hard Shells instead of doubled up Corn Tortillas. The kitchen kindly changed this. When it came time for the check, our server was like Houdini. Had to wave at him several times(with no acknowledgement of, «I’ll be right with you!») over a 20 minute period to so I could pay and hit the road — Keeping in mind I had to return a rental car and jump on a flight home. Now I know it’s not fair to compare, but honestly, I just didn’t enjoy the food here. This place certainly has potential, but not sure if I’ll be back to see if anything changes.

Stopped by Lime in wait for lanes to open at Lucky Strike on a Tuesday night. To my surprise Tuesday is apparently the perfect night for both places. They have $ 1 tacos and $ 5 margaritas, what a steal! I almost didn’t want to leave for lucky strikes but you can only have so many tacos. The wait was a little long and the tacos didn’t amount to anything substation but for $ 1 I’ll be as happy as a clam. The atmosphere is fun and I enjoyed sitting at the bar which has more than enough space. After filling up on tacos and margs definitely check out the $ 2 bowling next door!

We selected my male friend to be our point of contact with our waitress as she nonverbally showed us that she preferred him communicating with her. The food was solid, I’d say over priced chain Mexican. Although the queso flambeado was greasy but excellent. I had the steak soft tacos, they were good, but I could have gotten better quality on the streets of my old home San Antonio for ¼ of the price. They did have several gluten free options which always makes our party happy. 21 ounce margs are the way to go, not anything to rave about but they get the job done.

I had planned to go somewhere else but stopped by here after I saw they had a deal for patrons of the movie theater next door. I had a little over an hour before the movie which I thought should be more than enough time. Little did I know how wrong I would be. In the restaurant’s defense, it was the Fourth of July. However, the restaurant was quite empty. Even with the relatively few number of guests, they seemed severely understaffed. I had a check-in offer which took almost half an hour to resolve. I would have been happy to acknowledge that I could only have one of my two offers, but no one came by for quite some time. Once I put my order in, it took another twenty minutes for me to get my food and margarita. The server was very friendly and acknowledged the wait time, but I wish they were more upfront about it, as I almost missed my movie. In terms of the food and beverages, the ceviche was quite fresh. I thought a few more chips would have been nice, as I only got two for the whole dish. The complimentary house chips were sort of hit and miss. The salsa was really smokey and tasty. The tortilla chips seemed to be deep fried old tortillas that were oddly puffy and greasy. My discount house margarita was fine but nothing special. Overall, the food was fine. The service suffered a bit, but it seemed like the restaurant was really understaffed. I think maybe coming after the movie would be a better strategy in the future, but I’ll probably go somewhere else that is more consistent.

As a Mexican I wake up on Tuesdays and think«Taco Tuesday!!! Taco Tuesday is the BEST day!» I had a fat smile on my face all day looking forward to my friend’s birthday dinner. I have been to the Tech Center location several times but last night was my first time to the 16th St location, even though I work about 1⁄3 of a mile away. I plan on staying away, that is for sure. If only Lime would take a little bit more pride in their service and overall experience than this place would be ROCKIN’. Our service was some of the worst I have ever experienced. We arrived and told them our reservation and they replied with«we don’t have a table yet not sure when we will have one.» Um, OK. Why accept reservations then? Our waitress acted like she wanted to be anywhere but there and seemed annoyed at everything we requested.(«Another margarita?» *sigh* «My life sucks» — her internal thoughts). Get out of the service industry if you hate your job so much! She even charged us incorrectly and basically, instead of fixing it, shrugged her shoulders and let us figure it out. I only tipped because I’m not a jerk and I bet they don’t get compensated fairly when the tacos are on special like they were. Taco Tuesday is a great deal for $ 1 standard tacos and $ 5 margaritas which were actually pretty tasty. Note that the tacos are not customizable or there is steep upcharges. I came in not expecting much if the tacos are only a buck but I still left underwhelmed. Get it together Lime you guys cold be a great establishment in a great location!

Lovely pleasant atmosphere for brunch– I suggest sitting be the open garage style windows… Perfect for people watching! DJ was a nice addition to the background. Crab Benny queso was fantastic! Not to mention their heavenly chips. I could eat them every day for the rest of my life. Portion sizes generous, and friendly wait staff. Would definitely recommend!

Yay! I’m a fan of Lime on Taco Tuesdays. $ 1 Tacos– great variety of all sorts, Live DJ and $ 5 Margaritas in a great location upstairs at The Pavilions on 16th Street Mall– what’s not to like? Great service from the barstaff-always friendly and hustling to keep you fed and topped off with beverages. $ 1 Taco Tuesday — choose from Hard Corn, Soft Flour or Naked Stuffed with Ground or Shredded Beef, Shrimp, Veggie, or Chicken with ample shredded lettuce and pico de gallo and chopped fresh jalapeño. I always upgrade with side orders of sour cream and guacamole for a small charge. DJ Jesse James keeps the vibe going with great variety of R&B, Old Skool Hip Hop, House and Disco sounds $ 5 House Margaritas and other weekly drink specials along with a great design with large garage style doors help to make for a patio party type feel
