We have taken our whole family for dinner twice this month. Great Greek food! Decent price but the issue is the steak entrees. We like rare prime rib, rare lamb, rare steaks. Never seem to be able to get the temperature right. The older staff is attentive but the younger ones are a bit nonchalant. Our mom likes it here and she is who we aim to please.

I love the Monaco Inn. Their Gyros are delicious! The service is always fantastic. The only thing that i haven’t been a huge fan of is their pastitsio. But everything else I have tried is wonderful!

Mom and pop place. Been here forever. Lots of regulars come in. They have a bat and sports on their TVs. They do take out. My favorite is the avgolemono soup. I love it hot and cold all year round. The waitress was super nice and great at refills. It’s a real casual dining place. Lots of good food. I enjoyed the burrito and enchiladas because they smother it in an amazing salsa. Generally people come for the Greek entrees. The Greek potatoes are delicious. Everything is authentic and they make their own pita bread in house. try the flaming cheese app if you want to see a little show.

WOW! I was craving Gyros and lo and behold when I stepped out of Hobby Lobby, looked across the parking lot and saw a little neon sign that said Monaco Inn, GYROS. When I came in a man with the kindest face that I have seen in a long time greeted me. As I was glancing through the menu I was pleasantly surprised to find an assortment of dishes, not just Greek. Now I love Greek food and could eat it every night but my husband isn’t a big fan so I ordered him a ground beef Mexican burrito with green chili on the side. The food arrived in literally a flash! The scent of my Gyros & fries was torturing me on my 10 minute ride home. I was starving because I had worked out a little bit before and hadn’t eaten since 1045 this morning. My Gyro sandwich was divine and the french fries were fresh cut. I don’t know where they got their tomatoes but my oh my. Not bad for winter tomatoes. I don’t know what secret ingredient they put in their taziki sauce but it is magical. I am sitting here with a full belly and dreaming of the next chance I will get to have another Gyro sandwich from Monaco Inn in Denver!!!

Monaco Inn is amazing. The owners are very very sweet and caring. The portion sizes are amazing and the waitresses don’t stop until you’re satisfied. It’s such a cute quaint place, I would recommend anyone go at any time! If I could give this place 6 stars, I definitely would! AND they don’t JUST have Greek food — so if you have someone who is picky(i.e. — everyone I know), they have all sorts of different foods there.

I’ve eaten there and also have ordered takeout since my buddy lives within walking distance. I love gyros and always order them whenever possible. The gyros here are decent and I’d happily get them anytime. The fries have been undercooked and cold both times I’ve had them as my side unfortunately. If you’re driving by and are hungry, you should stop in. They also have Mexican food in case you have a hankering for gyros accompanied by tacos. :) The food portions here are generous(for the price they should be though) and despite the name of the establishment, you cannot rent out a room to rest if you go into a food coma.

We had the Giro sandwich with fries. The fries were hot but limp like they had been cold and microwaved. Not good. The sandwich comes with just the gyro meat and a couple of half tomatoes slices no lettuce and less you pay extra. Two sandwiches and two beers cost about $ 35. Not a good experience.

Great neighborhood restaurant, with a diner-style atmosphere and great Greek food. I especially enjoy the trout with Greek potatoes.

They offer everything from Lasagna to Enchilada… but, I always get the Greek Salad. It’s a nice portion, lots of gyros meat and comes with pita. The service is excellent. You don’t go for the atmosphere, but it’s a great spot for a tasty lunch.

As a Greek, I can say that this is the best, most authentic Greek food in Denver. No, it’s not the $ 5.99 gyros sandwich that you get from the mall. If you want that crap, go to the mall or a «middle eastern» restaurant. You get what you pay for folks. The service is always friendly and consistently good. Try the lamb sandwich, it’s incredible and if you’ve never tried lamb, it’s a great place to start. Sip on a glass of ouzo on the rocks and enjoy the service and atmosphere that only a family owned Greek restaurant can provide. Love these people and can’t wait to move back to Denver so I can resume being a regular.

I never sat down here and only got carry out once. The price was very steep and the quality of food was subpar. My wife and I both kind of looked at each other like WTF? With so many other choices of restaurants in this great city, don’t bother. As far as Greek food goes, Yanni’s really can’t be beat and for the price, it’s a way better value than the Monaco Inn.

First time here. Great service and beer selections. Had the pork Souvlaki plate with greek potatoes. The pork was pretty tough, slow cooking would fix that. Potatoes were nothing special. The lemon soup was very good. Appitizer of a selection of greek food was not bad. Going to try this place again and try some different food. To be continued…

Dolmades. Tiropitas. Bowl of their lemon chicken soup. I order this every year on my birthday. Love this little place! I have had a few other things off the menu and found it so-so. If you’re looking for foo foo food with unnecessary garnishes served on a plate 80% larger than the meal itself, go to Lodo you yuppie. Monaco Inn is straight up grandma’s home cookin’. No playin’ around. Real, hardy, flavorful Greek food made with love, baby! YEAH!

I had a great experience here! The food was fresh and fantastic(I had saganaki and a gyro) and the waitstaff and owners were very cordial and welcoming. I will be back this week! Bravo!

Heard really good things about this place ve so wanted to try it. To begin they served is two piece of bread room temperature. The butter was ice cold so impossible to spread. When we said we couldn’t spread the butter our waitress told us just to do what we can. Mom ordered the French dip. She said it was blah and she had better. I ordered the gyros plate. It was a good size but the meat was dry. Overall we are not impressed and won’t be back again. It’s too bad

Hit and ok at the Monaco Inn. Service was great. Very atttentive and fast and freindly. Food was great than just ok. The calimari was super good. Fresh and hand made. Cooked to perfection crispy breading and tender meat. See photo. The meal I had the lamb sandwich. It was good but nothing to write home about. The main problem was the ridiculous amount is Swiss cheese that overwhelmed the lamb, peppers and mushrooms. ¼ of the cheese would have done just fine. This was a shame since the ingredients were fresh and not from a can and shoukd have been shown off. The side was the ridiculous Greek potatos. This was two small bland wedges of potatos that were rubbery and probably sat in the food warmer too long, go with the fries instead. The big issue with this joint is the large menu that includes Greek, American and Mexican food. Stick with the Greek and make it better.

Best Calamari I’ve had in quite some time!(Bonus points) Service is good. Bottled Greek beers. Lots of different combination platters… Food tastes pretty good. The only drawback is that the prices are a bit high. Overall though, a pretty solid option for a Greek night out.
