Nice patio, delicious food and friendly waitstaff! The Greek salads had lots of feta and the spanakopita plate was plenty for leftovers.

Great family owned Greek diner near downtown. Sat at the counter and was helped by the owner’s wife. She was kind enough to accomodate my request for a few dolmates with my dinner. The lemon soup was very good and a nice starter to my Pastitsio. Would recommend this place for a good hearty dinner at a very reasonable price.

The food was good but the service was amazing! The only decision we made that night was the wine and our waitress took care of us the rest of the night. I had some experience with Greek food and my friend had less, so explaining dishes or trying to decide on one that met both of our wants was going to be a challenge. I only wish that I had got the name of our waitress so we could make sure we see her again.

Good food, and one of the few inexpensive breakfrast places left in this part of Denver. Love going there after a night out. Delicious hashbrowns and friendly service.

This place is one of our Go-To Breakfast/Greek Food places. The Breakfast choices are phenomenal(can’t go wrong with Pancakes… A long time favorite for our two young kids)… And when you are craving Greek food, wow… You certainly won’t be disappointed! There’s really no reason to go to another«breakfast pancake house chain» when you can go here. Reasonable prices… And wow… I don’t know what they put in their pancakes, but they are fluffy and chewy… And melt in your mouth delicious! Yum!

This restaurant has a really delicious Greek Lemon Soup(menu name is Avgolemono or something like that). On top of that, they do the most delicious breakfast burrito on the south side of colfax — it’s a breakfast burrito with eggs, cheese, and gyro meat. I could really eat it every day — on the days I don’t eat it, I get the greek salad with gyro meat. Ugh… everything here is to die for. Their greek wedding cookies are terrific, and I would absolutely recommend them.

I enjoy and look forward to coming here. It was becoming a bit of an inside joke with my ex how often I’d suggest we go here. Was just in this past week again. Brought another friend in with me. I like sharing this place with people. You can have good conversations here. Good meals at decent prices. I like their booths too. Whatever small issues I’ve had from time to time were very minor and things you see at all restaurants. Anyway, just the right amount of busy for a local restaurant. Very casual and relaxed. Pretty good service. Yeah, the menu is huge, and some of their plates are too – like the gyro salad. I usually get just the gyro sandwich. Good fries. Try this place and love it. Ok, I used good at least 5 times in my review… :) It’s good!

Went there for the first time last night after the Blossoms of Light at the Botanic Gardens. Very friendly staff and excellent food. The adults had gyro plates, which were huge, and very tasty. My son had an omelette, which he devoured. Frankly any restaurant that will make an omelette for you at 8:00 at night is already a winner! My young daughter had the chicken tenders which she really liked. We also shared a hummus plate as an appetizer. We will be back!

All you have to do is ask for veggies in your gyro! My only critique of this place is no longer valid. ^.^

Recommended! A few blocks from my house, I depend on Zorba’s as a solid-value village restaurant with dependable food in more-than-ample portions and prompt, cheerful service. Love the gyro, moussaka, lamb kabob, and the omelets from the all-day breakfast part of the menu. As of the date of this review, Zorba’s scheduled daily opening was 6:00 a.m., which can save your commute if you can’t get things together in your own kitchen. Remarkably few restaurants in town are open that early unless they’re the all-nighters, and Zorba’s serves a healthier breakfast than all of those I’ve tried over the years. The interior is tasteful. As another reviewer noted, the tables are near each other, so it can get a bit loud at capacity(mid-day many days, and usually on weekends). Patio seating can be schweet: the vibe on the sidewalk is good and 12th Avenue isn’t particularly noisy. Blocks from Congress Park and the Botanic Gardens, so it’s convenient for a just-before or just-after visit.

Stopped in here after I helped a friend move into her new place. The staff was friendly, the outdoor seating was lovely! I got the greek gyro salad — that thing was gigantic! Enough meat for 3 gyros and 2 meals! My friend got the mousaka and that was huge as well. Definitely a lovely spot, walkable from her place and delicious food! I’ll be back!

So before we ended up here my friends and I went to a breakfast place around 11:30 am that is a small chain here in Denver that rhymes with«Booze» which is insanely loud, a bit pricey for inconsistent food and ALWAYS has a ridiculous wait time. Despite that is was a Monday our wait time was an estimated 45 minutes. Seriously? Yeah, you know the one. Being that we were hungry my friend suggested Zorba’s…Holy cow what a difference. At Zorba’s we were greeted by friendly staff and immediately seated on the sunny patio. Our food was delivered in a timely fashion and cooked to perfection. My friends who are a bit snobbish when it comes to omelets had both said that their’s were quite good. My enormous skillet breakfast dish for under $ 8 was large enough to easily feed me two times over. The front patio was quite and relaxing and the staff were great. This place is for sure your standard dinner with no frills, just good food fast. There are both street parking and lot in the back and no stairs to navigate should that be an issue for your guests. The menu selection is HUGE and accommodates almost any liking for breakfast, lunch or dinner. What a great new gem to find. Do it.

Came in on a chilly Coloradan winter’s night with a friend. We’d already eaten dinner though wished for a «warm up» that was warming. Friendly staff and owners directed us to the«bar» — just a few seats diner-style at this all-day breakfast, ginourmous menu, East-Coast style Greek Diner. We felt immediately welcome by the friendly staff and owners of this Congress Park neighborhood stalwart. The menu is pages long, with everything from traditional Greek lamb dishes and gyros flat-bread sandwiches to french fries and pancakes. Electing to have some soup to take the chill off, my friend enjoyed a Southwestern style Green Chili stew. A nice piquant tang and spicy bite to it, dipped with side tortilla. Very Coloradan winter snack! Myself, I went with the more traditional Greek lemon-chicken soup. Usually it is served with orzo, though they used American rice rather than Greek. Didn’t matter, it was lovely, light and heavy at the same time. The lemon flavour was not very acidic, and one could even have a nice glass of red, peppery Greek wine without ruining the palette. Both soups were warming, but most hearty are the owners. The owner Shellie was helpful in guiding us along the vast menu(Mexican food, too!), and pointing to the house-made baklava and other pastries baked daily. Hearth, home, Zorbas. It’s all Greek to me!

This restaurant is within walking distance of my job. Fellow employees have been raving about it so I decided the time had come for me to make the trek. I wanted carry out so it was a little confusing for a newbie as the counter/register isn’t readily visible when you first walk in. Thinking a salad sounded good, I ordered the Greek salad with falafel. The falafel was my favorite part of the salad aside from the grilled pita. Next time I will order the falafel pita sandwich. The salad was a little watery, literally water floating in the bottom of the container. It got my feta cheese soggy and diluted which was a bummer. I will go back but will order a sandwich next time!
