Went back for takeout twice since my first review. I had the Carne Tampequena and the Steak Ranchero. The Carne Tampequena is a T-Bone cooked to your preference. The cook mentioned they normally serve 8 ounce T-Bones, but they were out, so he gave me a 12 ounce steak. He wanted me to know, so if I ever ordered it again I wouldn’t be disappointed. Asked for medium well and it was slightly over cooked, but at medium well what’s the difference. The meat was well seasoned and tasted good. The beans and rice were excellent. The Steak Ranchero was not quite what I was expecting. I thought it would be a full steak. Turned out it was cut up steak mixed with the ranchero sauce. This was way tastier than it looked. Don’t get me wrong, the dish looked delicious, but tasted even better. Both dishes came with a choice of corn or flour tortillas. I always go with the flour tortillas. You can call in your dinner and it will be ready when you get there. Haven’t eaten in as of yet.
