Great service and good food! I was in for a meeting a little early, not many people in at the time but a steady flow of customers! First time here and I will definitely be back!

Really good pastry! I wish they would make more ham and cheese croissants because they run out.

Absolutely delicious chocolate croissant! Great place for a meeting, nice atmosphere. But do not trust Google maps to get you there. Call for directions if you need them.

I’ve stopped in for pastries and coffee. I’ve had a nice breakfast with good crepes. Everything has been just fine at Katherine’s. But what bumps them to 4 stars is the buche de noel. I’d ordered elsewhere and been greatly disappointed. This year, I gave Katherine’s a try and had an excellent experience. The cake is made fresh just before your pickup time. The decorations were beautiful, and it was delicious.

Without doubt the finest French chef in Denver. Completely authentic and delicious!

Very chic little bistro with very delicious food. There are so many yummy pastries offered that I was not able to sample all that I wanted to. However, all he items I had were absolutely to die for. The only thing that prevents, e from giving five stars is the size and location. Though nestled in a historic neighborhood, we wanted to sit on the patio for our brunch. However, we quickly discovered the difficulty of having a conversation with all the traffic passing by at such close proximity. As it is located in a very small strip mall, parking is minimal and seating is the same. I would happily return again though, despite the minor criticisms I have shared.

I’ve read reviews about Katherine’s before that mention poor service and rude servers. This was not the case on my trip. The server who served me was very friendly, as were the rest of the staff in the restaurant. I ordered the grilled brie, Turkey and pear sandwich, and it was delicious. I just expected it to have some brie and sliced pears, but the pears were poached(I think) and put into a delicious spread. I, of course, had to try the macaroons. They were not flavorless, they were subtle, but that is how I like them. I also had a butter cookie with coffee, both of which were very good. All in all, I enjoyed my trip here, and I will definitely be back.

After just moving to the area, have been coming to this charming place for the past few days to work on computer and get some yummy food in this hungry 5 month pregnant belly of mine. It’s a very cozy place, the people are friendly(especially James, he’s the sweetest), and the food is delicious. I haven’t ventured outside of a few favorites to try a lot off the menu, but what I’ve had has been wonderful(if you can poach a good egg and give me real butter, you’re ok in my book — the sourdough is nice and sour too). Also, love the cute french music they play… the kind of stuff I listen to when cooking in my own kitchen. French music makes the food taste better, it’s a fact! :)

This place is amazing. I walked in and was drawn to the display case. I ordered 8 macaroons, 4 of almost everything else(and 1 éclair for myself!!), so that my kids could taste them all. Next time, I’ll just bring the kids in with me during one slow afternoon and they can see the beautiful display and taste the pastries first hand. I sat for a while and watched the rain while drinking a double espresso, it was made perfectly. The grounds weren’t bitter, they were smooth and delightfully done. It’s definitely one of those stops you must make prior to going to get some ice cream across the street.

We stopped by this casual neighborhood café last Sunday morning around 9:00. It wasn’t crowded and our server immediately took care of us. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and was served with possibly the most perfect eggs ever. They arrived hot, cooked just as requested and amazingly creamy. Delicious.

With the paucity of good bakeries in Denver and reading the good reviews about this place, decided to give it a try. The feta quiche filling was good, but the crust was the consistency of cardboard and just as tasteless. Stay away from the éclair — was supposed to be vanilla, but the filling had not even a hint of vanilla, and again the pastry was stiff and tasteless. The whole thing was covered with super sweet chocolate glaze. Guess I’ll keep looking…

J’adore this petit café. It is a great spot for lunch. I Love their salad I have it every time. They also have good crepes… They’ve got all my favorite things. Their croissants are fabulous and flaky and their lattes are perfection. Their Americanos are great too. Been here a few times and I’ve enjoyed each visit. I am particularly enamoured by their pastry display and can’t seem to leave the store without walking out with a sleeve of their macarons — probably the freshest in Denver. The service is good and I love that they pipe in French radio, brings back fond memories. Definitely a fine spot for lunch.

Love this café for brunch with friends. Also has some of the best French pastries I’ve had outside of Paris. Affordable, friendly, tasty!

Not open during stated hours and lacking customer service. We walked here in the snow and arrived an hour before close. The door was locked and after some knocking the clerk came out and said he decided to close early. Offered to pay cash for a couple of cookies or anything he’d give us but he didn’t care and refused to sell us anything.

My boss brought in a fantastic tart from Katherine’s. It was an almond and cherry with pear. Absolutely delicious. I drove by on my way to a meeting yesterday and stopped in for a quick to go lunch. I opted for quiche since it was ready made and fast. The quiche of choice was the vegetable quiche. I had the impression it would be a variety of veggies. When I got the quiche to my car, I had all carrots. The carrots were in inconsistent pieces that looked sloppy and had different textures. All the carrots tasted like they had been previously frozen. The egg custard itself was good not great. The best part was the flaky crust. Overall, I’d go back for dessert choices but not a quiche.

Katherine’s Bakery has a delicious selection of pastries along with a menu loaded with crepes, eggs, and quiches. Before coming, I imagined something a la Trompeau(pastries and coffee — no menu), so I already had my tastebuds settled on a chocolate croissant and cappuccino way in advance. The discovery of a menu threw me off, but I ultimately went with what I originally planned. If we come back, I’ll spring for either the egg and croissant sandwich or a banana nutella crêpe. In comparison to Trompeau, a pain au chocolat and cappuccino cost me about $ 2.50 more.(That’s a lot — over 150%). Would I say it was worth it? No. The sit-down atmosphere is very nice, so I would prefer to treat it as such in the future to help differentiate it from Trompeau(sorry for sounding like a broken record, but that place sets the bar pretty high for pastries and coffee!). Even with a slightly negative-sounding review, we’ll be back. I enjoyed it, I just need to order from the menu to help me justify the price tag.
