Foreign Accents has made me a custom furniture snob. I had been searching for a year or two for the final pieces for our home in the mountains and anytime a store didn’t have what I wanted, the salespeople would whip out these huge catalogs and expect me to sift through them. I walked into Foreign Accents and described what I wanted; Andy immediately sat down, drew it, and the rest is history. Since my first purchase from Foreign Accents, I have engaged them to create and/or purchased from them store at least 20 pieces of solid wood furniture. They have done probably 10 custom pieces for me that I am extremely happy with all of them; the measurements were excellent and the wood was solid and high quality. Don’t get it twisted — for custom furniture from Zia and his team you have to wait, but it is entirely worth it. I’ve seen a few negative reviews on Google regarding Foreign Accents my understanding is that these are from ambulance chasers who aren’t telling the entire truth about the situation. I feel compelled to write a review and let everyone know how much I love this store, their customer service(from the owner, to the sales staff, and the delivery guys — always FAB-ulous), and their gorgeous, high-quality and reasonably priced wood furniture.

We live nearby and have furnished most of our living room with their unique furnishings. We have had nothing but positive experiences with Zia, Andy and his crew. Zia even let us take home 3 different rugs just to see which would work best in our space. So helpful! I enjoy stopping by on a regular basis just to see what is new and what is on sale. It is set up a little like a storeroom, but I enjoy the sheer number of pieces there are to look at. Love this place!

We had a very negative experience with Zia and his company, Foreign Accents(also known as World Expressions). He generally did not keep promises. He was not honest with us about shipping times which affected our entire remodel project. He made up charges that we owed him without telling us why we owed them and then threatened us with a lien if we didn’t pay them. He provided us with damaged good and refused to fix them. Because we refused, he took us to court. In talking with others, he does this pattern with other clients. I suggest you be very cautious in even considering him.
