El salon is amazing! Such a friendly staff and a great environment to be in. Pretty inexpensive for great results. I started going there when I bought a groupon and have been going back ever since.
Taylor is my stylist and she always does exactly what i picture with my hair. I just love El Salon and reccommend it to everyone.

Joel does an amazing job! My daughter just got her haircut and styled by Joel and she loves it! Also, the best shampooer around– great head massage!

This is the most talented, hospitable, and enjoyable salon I have ever been to. I have been getting my hair cut and colored by Samantha Brutocao for about two years now and she’s a hair goddess! Every time I come in, someone greets me immediately and makes me feel right at home. Highly, highly recommend Samantha and all of El Salon.

Taylor is by far the best stylist I have ever had! She does cut, color and pampering to the T. After coming to her with less than a full head of hair after some medical issues, I can say my hair is luscious and back to normal and then some! She nails the color every time! And she always makes me feel pampered and awesome.

Steve Trujillo has been cutting my hair since our Cherry Creek North days and I always feel better after a visit to his great, easy going space with EASY PARKING and a welcoming garden atmosphere. It feels sophisitcated, especially since i know how active he pursues his passion for design in all things. It’s fun to catch up on all the news since he is on top of the game. And my hair is always just the way i like it!

El Salon is the above the bar place to go for all things hair in the Mile High City. All aspects are excellent. Booking, front desk, email confirmation and reminders are easy and help to book in advance especially around holidays. Excellent color! (Thank you Ron!) Gorgeous cuts. (Thank you again Ron!) Clientele always looks happy and you feel like you are in the right place for the best of the best in Denver. They do a great job! Thanks y’all!

I love this salon! Their prices are in line with most other nice salons and I am always able get an appointment. I like that it’s a laid back environment and it doesn’t feel snooty. Jamie has been cutting my hair since I moved to Denver. She makes my hair look so beautiful! I always get compliments after seeing her and people always ask who does my hair. I color my own hair and some stylists might try to point out the flaws (I’m sure there are some), especially if they are a master colorist, but not Jamie. I do wish they gave referral credits, because I have referred a number of people to this salon.

We are so fortunate to have El Salon in the neighborhood. Not only the best salon in town but a great neighbor as well. From the moment you walk in, you are treated like a celebrity. Goes without saying they have the best stylists in the business (I’m a little partial to mine, Mara. She’s awesome). Don’t forget to say hello to Osso, the beautiful black Labradoodle that looks after the waiting guests. Give this place a try, you will not be disappointed.

I recently went to Samantha for a Brazilian Blowout. She did a marvelous job, I am thrilled with the results and wonder why I waited so long. Samantha took time with me before she started the process to find out what end result I was looking for and made sure I was comfortable during the whole process. I recommend Samantha and El Salon. Everyone was friendly and it’s just got a great vibe. I’ll go back.

El Salon is the best! Samantha is absolutely the best I’ve ever had. My hair always looks incredible thanks to her and I always ask where I go, and am always happy to tell someone or refer them to El Salon and Samantha as well. AJ and the rest of the staff are always quite welcoming.

El Salon has been my constant in an ever changing crazy world! I have been seeing Ron for going on 10 years, and have loved loved loved every single visit and outcome. The salon and people there are wonderful, friendly, and engaging. The stylists are consistently educated to what is on trend so that my hair doesn’t just stay «the same old style.» Being someone who is not a super fancy person, it is great to be an environment where I am treated like part of their super fancy family!

Thank you Taylor. I am a 68 year old who thought there was little difference between a cheap haircut and a professional cut. I was wrong. Taylor has cut my hair and beard a number of times (she showed me how to keep the beard neat and trimmed short, the way I like it, between visits). I have changed from looking like an old man with an unruly beard to looking good but still old. Guys if you need someone to help you look good, Taylor is the one.

El Salon is a wonderful, upscale home environment, with their 2 mascots who greet you. Every detail in the salon has been thoughtfully executed and it brings a very relaxing feel to the experience. I have had waxing here, and it was perfect!
Now for the best part. Brad Ramsey has been coloring and cutting my hair for years, and I give him a little direction and then day, go for it! Every time I leave, people stop me and ask who does your hair! He is creative, colorful and an absolute joy to be around! You will love being here!

After my original stylist left El Salon and moved out of state, I hopped around salons for a while. When I decided that I wanted to get color/​highlight done, I did my homework to find someone, and boy, did I read many praises about Ron Lopez! Ron is absolutely fabulous. I can’t say enough good things about him! He is a top educator teaching all over the country and has won many awards, and he is just a wonderful, kind, and funny person! Ron spent time talking with me to get an idea of what I was looking for in cut/​style/​color; he is a great listener and would ask questions about what I liked and wanted. I was so happy with my cut, color, and highlights! I will be going back to Ron! This really is a fabulous salon, and everyone here is just wonderful and so welcoming.

I was recommended to try this salon by a friend. Although my stylist successfully cut colored and styled my hair I didn’t have the best customer service and I think it was way over priced. The receptionist barely acknowledged me and I accept superior service for the cost of my haircut. Also u can’t tip on a credit card which they didn’t notify my of until I was checking out.
Also it was over 200 $ by someone with less than five years experience. I guess I would have been less surprised if I had booked the first chair. Who knows how much that would have put me back.

Ron Lopez has been doing my hair for over 1 year now! He really is the best I have ever had! I get blond highlights, over my naturally medium brown hair. I have suffered A LOT for this blond hair. Over the years it has been orange, pink, stripey, chunky, muddy, brassy… you name it!
But Ron GETS IT!!! It is the perfect creamy blond! I always love the outcome! It’s such a perfect color for me that I even feel comfortable without make-​up. He’s done it about 5 times now and I have loved it every time!
He also is a great haircutter! Very up-​to-​date! My hair always lays perfectly from his cut. Just blow dry with a round brush and go! Oh, and he showed me how to actually use a round brush so I don’t end up with a «mushroom’ in the middle layers! He is very helpful and encourages me with my hair and tells me if he thinks something would’nt work. I really trust him! I have rarely had that with a hairdresser.
I just wish he lived in Aspen! But, I am willing to drive the 4 hours and stay overnight in a hotel! He is worth it!

I see Ron Lopez here and have waited until a few visits so I could solidly say «Woohoo!» and really mean it. I take hair very seriously! You get that way when you have cancer. And Ron knows just how to make you look your best even in the midst of a crisis. I am not a vain person, but I truly believe Ron’s skills helped me get through a very difficult time in my life.
Undergoing a mastectomy and unable to lift your arms and wash your own hair? Why not do a brazilian blowout so your hair looks perfect with no effort! I remember Ron saying, «Let’s at least make one aspect of your life easy.» He was so right, and I never would have thought changing things in just a miniscule way could make a world of difference in how I looked to myself and the rest of the people who came to see me. A huge thanks if you are reading this, Ron.
In addition to working small miracles, Ron also does very natural looking color. I loved the place I went before, but never felt like they nailed my color on the first try. Ron did and does. His cuts are also fantastic. You know it’s a good cut when it can air dry and still look good. To me, that’s the dividing line.
Lastly, they are always prompt here. One of the last straws at my former salon was that I was kept waiting. I feel like they value my time enough not to make me wait for 30 min. I have a 4 year old, cancer, and a husband who works nights. Thank you for understanding that my time is valuable. I look forward to a long and easy relationship with El Salon.

I see Jamie and I’ve gotten more compliments in the 2 years I have seen her than in the past 28 years of my life P.J. (pre-​Jamie).
She is easy to talk to (and takes no offense when I bring work or a magazine) does exactly as requested (even during awkward growing out stages she manages to honor my request while also making my hair look like something that belongs on a human with a 9 – 5) and does a great job matching hair color to skin-​tone.
The salon itself is cozy with beautiful natural lighting and had a trendy yet non-​pretentious vibe.
