Service will make or break you. I love Einstein’s. Who doesn’t? The food is amazing. I live right by this location. My husband and I frequently stop in. Whether it’s walk-in, drive-thru, busy, or slow, our order is always wrong time and time again. I don’t get it. I always monitor on the screen to ensure its inputted it correctly. If you politely let them know that it’s wrong on the screen, I typically get an «I know» and a glare then it doesn’t get corrected and it’s made wrong. Even if it’s inputted correctly, it’s made wrong. I’ve worked in the service industry in the past for about a decade. I get it can be hectic and occasional mistakes are bound to happen. OCCASIONAL being the key word. On top of that, the staff is constantly so rude. It’s not that hard to flash a smile and be genuine. It’s a job. It pays your bills and puts a roof over your head and food on your table. Be grateful. People often forget that you’re not just paid to do a job, you’re also paid to be nice. Self-entitlement gets you no where except for a proud owner of a miserable life. Even when we watch others being served here, other customers always comment on how rude the staff always is. It’s almost worth it to make the drive to a different location where they are actually nice and accurate. Your jobs not hard. Get it together. It really reflects on management as well.

When you walk in to this location, go up to the counter and have them kick you in the groin. That will feel better than the horrendous customer service and poor food you’ll get. When they screw up your order, it’ll some how be your fault. Order a bagel? You’re getting a hot dog. «But they don’t even have hot dogs». I know but that is how bad it is here. And it’s your fault for ordering a bagel. They’ll make sure to let you know that you’re wrong. It’s basically your fault for being alive and coming in to their work. Way to go. Your best bet is to just go somewhere else.

This Einstein place is the worst!!! The staff is terrible and they are ALWAYS rude! In fact, They seem annoyed that I am there and that they have to do their job. I usually have to wait 5 minutes in the drive-thru to place my order. Not to mention they NEVER have the type of bagel I want. I don’t understand how a bagel shop that is suppose to be open until 5 or 6 is always out of bagels by lunch! The food is subpar which I didn’t even think you could mess a bagel up, but I was wrong. Today, I went to go thru the drive-thru and they had a hand made sign that said drive-thru closed. I’m assuming it’s because they are understaffed and or too lazy to do anything about it. This is the LAST time I will ever go to this location. The owner/CEO needs to fix the issues at this store, mainly the staff! It’s ridiculous!!!

I can only vouch for the drive through. The past 5 times have been quick and consistent. You can’t really mess up a toasted bagel with some schmear. This last time though — plain schmear instead of the requested jalapeño salsa. Get your shit together guys!

The employee was really nice but the food was prepared horribly. I ordered the same thing at the Denver airport and it was a million times better.

95% of the time my order is prepared incorrectly. I have a high tolerance for people messing up my order, and I understand this isn’t exactly gourmet dining. But it feels like almost EVERY time I go here(which is a lot), I never get quite what I ordered. If I ask for my bagel to not be toasted, you can almost bet it will be toasted. Or if I don’t want capers with my bagel and lox, I’ll probably get extra capers. And forget about asking for extra cream cheese, because you’ll end up getting a quarter of your bagel covered. It’s almost as if they mess up on purpose. If I could rate them on succeeding to screw up my order, it would be 5*. Also, another reviewer pointed out that they’re always out of stuff, and that’s true. It’s like a game trying to figure out your order. Can I get this? No, ok what about this? No, hmmmm ok how about this? Ok great thanks. Oh wait you actually messed this up… It’s pretty shocking they’ve been in business as long as they have. It’s got to be because of their location and drive thru(the only reasons I frequent this location over others).

I’ll chime in with yet another sub par review for this location. Einstein Brothers has never been outstanding or even close to quality NY bagel offerings but this one blows it out of the park with how bad the service and bagel were. My experience went like this at the drive-thru: Me: I would like a medium coffee Worker: just plain? Me: I’ll take a vanilla flavored brew if you have it Worker: ok, what else? Me: onion bagel, toasted, chive cream —- Worker: hold on! I’m still making your coffee!!! Me: ok Worker: ok what kind of bagel did you want? … Upon pulling up to the window 5 minutes later I received a lukewarm not toasted bagel with hardly any cream cheese from a surly worker who couldn’t have been less interested in her job. Never visiting again.

I don’t know if it’s a problem of the owner not paying employees enough or what… But it took about three times longer than it should have, and I had almost no cream cheese on my bagel at all. It was not nice chewing on a dry plain bagel on my way to work

I came here on my way to work, in the morning during a weekday. Most breakfast places are usually pretty staffed during this time but the drive thru was extremely slow. They were out of both things that I wanted, the blueberry bagel and cups for a large coffee. I got my coffee and it was COLD I mean it tasted like it was old and sitting out for a long time. Second time a couple days later still no blueberry bagel or large cups for coffee! And hey! My coffee was actually hot this time. Quite annoyed. Third times a charm.

I never Unilocal review, let alone give a bad one, but the two times I’ve been here I regret it because they never got my order right. The girl Daisy working the drive thru couldn’t even pic up the microphone to take my order in a professional way. Laughing and giggling, I hear her finally say what can I get you. I order a ham, egg and cheddar with bacon added, and a large coffee. What I was given(after paying almost $ 10 for my food) was a weak bacon egg and Swiss. Like how hard is it to just give me what I order? Maybe they should hire people who aren’t still suckling at the teet.

SOSLOW! I’ve been twice, through the drive-thru. The first time, long wait times every step of the way(and I was the only person in the drive-thru). The lady who took my card clearly wanted to be anywhere but there, and butter was globbed on both bagels, so I only ate about half of what I ordered. The second time, I was asked to wait so long before ordering that both myself and the lady waiting behind me gave up and drove away. Don’t waste your time. Even if you are craving bagels, going here will only frustrate and annoy you.

Not good at all. I dunno what I was thinking eating here. The staff was very friendly, so I’ll give one star, but the results were not appetizing. The coffee was COLD. In addition, they didn’t have everything bagels, which I found very surprising. I ended up getting a poppy seed bagel tasted like it was made a week ago and the egg/bacon felt like they were microwaved. It needed cream cheese and fresher ingredients. Not coming back to an Einsteins.

I grew up right down the street and I always said a bagel shop would do killer in this area. Boy was I wrong. This place only promises an exceptional wait time, bad service and to screw up your order… Like skipping the cream cheese. Every single time. That’s the best part of the bagel!!! I hope management starts responding to some of these reviews on Unilocal and takes ownership of the business instead of running it into the ground.

I wish I could give zero stars. Seriously, go to Potbelly next door, or Wahoo’s. Debbie working the drive through is awful. How did this woman get a job? Casey(sp?) was the only saving grace for this place. They were lucky I happened to have cream cheese at home since they forgot mine on every bagel. Seriously? Unless you like getting a ton of attitude and your order messed up, don’t come here.

Dam my extreme laziness because the drive thru is the only reason I occasionally come back to this establishment(If only there was delivery for breakfast, then my life would be complete). Let me snap out of my fantasy world now and talk about why I hate myself for coming back to this restaurant at all. This is one of the most poorly run Einsteins I have ever been to. Whether you go through the drive thru or go inside, expect to have an above average wait time. Anyone can tell that they are seriously understaffed, normally only having two people handling the high walk through and drive thru traffic. It’s like if Santa only had two elves to help him make toys for all the kids in the world. On top of the poor service, I have had a number of issues with their food. They are constantly out of my first choice bagel(green chile), which I would be more understanding of, except that they are also constantly out of my 2nd and 3rd choice bagel as well, leaving me unsatisfied with a mediocre sesame seed bagel! Other, more minor issues that I have had are: completely out of egg whites, wrong ingredients, sloppy composition of ingredients, and bagels not being cut in half the right way or even at all(I don’t know how you can mess that up either!). The unfortunate thing is that I love Einsteins, and when prepared correctly, all of their menu items are pretty darn tasty! But service can make or break an establishment and I think management of this location needs to seriously reassess how they run the business before it crumbles like a nature valley bar! For that reason, I am giving my experience 2 stars, and it probably would have been 1 if not for how much I like the food when done correctly!
