When ordering ice cream it would be nice to get a spoon with it, other than that the oatmeal raisin cookies were good the peanut butter chocolate chip just tasted of sugar

Extremely restricted delivery area — ridiculous really and very rude phone/service person that hung up on me . The menu items can be very food for the price — but lousy device has reduced my rating to 1 ½ stars.

Almost perfect. Amazing marinera sauce and fresh ingredients, but dough was too thick and was not totally cooked. What was though, was yummy and I ate what I could. I’ll be giving them another try and would still recommend.

It took over 1 hour 40 min for my food to be delivered. It was cold and soggy. The order was messed up. It tasted terrible. The delivery driver did not come up to our unit so we had to go downstairs to find her. Overall, a very poor experience. Which sucks because my experience at the Boulder location has been great. To top it off, upon not tipping, the driver called and disrespectfully yelled at us for not tipping. Honestly, I didn’t even want to pay for the food, why in the world would I tip after such a terrible experience? Will not be ordering from here again. Maybe tell your employees to have better customer service. I’ve been in the food industry myself and I understand delays happen but we make up for it through good customer service or another way that’ll make the customer happy.

I feel I’m being very generous with two stars. As you walk in, the smoke of the cheap ingredients baking in the oven hit you in the face. As your breath is being taken away unwillingly you go to order your food. Selection is decent if you don’t want an actual pizza. Fast forward to the workers and their rude demeanour, lack of help for the smallest of task. Make sure to basically wait in line again for anything like a water cup, sauce etc because apparently any other approach falls on deaf ears. I can live with that part unfortunately the calzones do not make up for the lack of service, which the product greatly reflects. To hear people say the pizza is great is like going back to my small town that has done nothing but digress further back in time and hear people tell me how they like it. Ignorance is not bliss in this case. Save yourself the experience and get a burrito from 7⁄11. If its not past midnight during the week go west 10 blocks or so to Slice works for a quality experience. *Cliffs Smoke filled inside Horrible customer service & snotty attitudes Shitty calzones w/lacking ingredients Shit pool table Shitty music Just a glorified shitty shit hole on the Colfax

Love DP Dough! I’ve had several of their calzones, and they are all delish. I really like the Buffer Zone which has hot sauce. Just talking about it makes me hungry! If you are looking for a good calzone, they are worth a try.

Always a delicious calzone! We went to eat in and although we were the only ones there they were busy busy! I never realized how many delivery orders they got. It’s sorta a «ive been drinking» or «I’m stoned» kind of spot. They have a pool table, but I was disappointed with the attitude the manager gave us when we asked for change for quarters since their change machine was down. I understand the limitation on the business in getting quarters at the bank but be considerate that you have a pool table that only takes quarters… People don’t carry change around as much as they used to. Maybe stick to delivery? Ps. Definitely get a cookie. Nom nom

I went with 4 people and three of them really liked them. For me they weren’t good at sll. Skimpy on the toppings, no free condiments, hard flat crust. However, friendly people. Kinda on rhe slow side

Used to order here all the time but never will again. The«change» in delivery boundaries made me a lost customer. Only a few blocks away from this place. Feel like they can’t keep up and recently the calzones were slacking. I expect them to be out of business soon at this rate.

I had been hearing about DP Dough for years through friends in Denver. Its a great place with fresh and delicious calzones. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and the place wasn’t too busy. Ordering was easy and we found a «Zone» that each of us would like. It took about 10 – 15 minutes for the food to be ready, which is to be expected for made to order baked food like this. The calzones were absolutely great. The breading was sweet and flavored with perhaps a bit of honey to enhance the taste. The cheese was infused with spices that further enhanced the flavor. The meats and vegetables were all very fresh tasting and were well complimented in the whole ensemble. The dipping sauce was good, but potentially could have had some room for improvement.

I’ve bought so much DP Dough since my last review that I could have put a down payment on a car. It is still hit or miss(i asked someone when they’d be doing tots, which are on their menu, told never.) but overall, this food satisfies. Late nite, no problem. The dunkers are outstanding, but get them well done. The star I knock off of their review is for the $.50 upcharge for well done. They claim it’s because they spend more gas or whatever to cook it longer. I complained about a huge order of Dunkers that were near raw, ordering some more and was charged more for my next order, because, «we charge extra for the gas used to make them crispy». Hmmmm. Nonetheless, I give them four stars because in the span of two years I have enjoyed a whole lot of their goodies.

Been long time customers of DP Dough. Called tonight at 12 to get an order delivered. Told them our number and our address came right up. Were told that they«changed their delivery radius» and apparently we were 3 blocks out of their radius. Excuses after Excuses, manager Donna refused to speak to us about it, Juan was literally asking the manager to speak to Us and she refused. Not sure what happend to this denver fixture but you just lost 8 year long customers. Bad form guys!

D.P. Dough is drunk college food. If you are drunk, and in college(or wish you still were) you may enjoy your D.P. dough. If, however, you are not in a desperate bind for meaty carb sandwiches at 2am, try any other place. My bf once found an expiration date for the cheese in his calzone and when he called the guy was like, oh yeah that happens sometimes. apparently its NBD to put paper in your food. I gave it two stars because I think more places should serve food late at night.

DP Dough, how badly I want to love you. The calzones here are A+, by far my favorite and under most circumstances, I will go out of my way to get them. I can’t tell you how many nights in college a Roni Zoni soothed me into a drunken slumber. When it’s 2 am and I need someone to deliver my drunk munchies, DP Dough says they will… and then inevitably calls back saying I’m not in their delivery area. Sad, but understandable, until I realize they always end up charging my card anyway! This has happened twice now. Every smart phone has a map app. I guarantee you guys have a map — probably with your delivery area outlined on it — hanging in your store. How you can consistently take orders and charge them without checking first to see if they’re in an applicable delivery area is truly beyond me. If you think about it, it would create less work for everyone involved if you checked this one thing before sending through orders. But actually, you don’t care because the food you aren’t going to deliver to me has already been paid for, so it’s just a free meal for your employees. As annoying as that is, the worst part is when you call and say you’ve been charged, but never got delivery, they will swear up and down that they will refund you… and never do.

Ordered over the phone and the woman who answered was very friendly and fast, I think the phone call was all of twenty seconds but very polite. Ordered the Roni Zoni(pepperoni, ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan) and thought it was completely divine! The crust was perfect– crisp on the outside and soft on the inside! Marinara served on the side is tangy and tasty! My friend ordered the Safety Zone(mushrooms, spinach, olives, garlic, ricotta, mozzarella, ricotta, Parmesan) which she loved! They had a great selection of vegetarian ones, which she liked! each calzone was $ 7 which is perfect! Food was ready in 15 minutes at 7:30 on a Friday night, so that was a very pleasant surprise! Definitely plan to go back!
