Great food and service… not really a burlesque show… just some strippers. It was a little uncomfortable

1) Beware of the owner who charges an automatic 20% tip without authorization. 2) Beware of the Groupon 5 course meal for $ 85. Not even worth $ 5. 3) Amuse-Bouche — Lemon ricotta deconstructed ravioli — inedible, can’t tell it’s lemon or ricotta, over salted. 4) French onion soup — Flavorless with the overwhelming taste of salt and pepper. Tough and chewy cheese. Stale bread 5) Bread and butter — Either it was reheated in the microwave or it was undercooked with chewy soggy middle. Crust was crunchy but bland and inedible. 6) Steak — Supposed to be a filet but it was tough and overcooked. Used boxed powder mash potato that was too salty and disgusting. 7) Baked Alaskan — Drugstore ice cream. 8) This is in a strip club with strippers. 9) 0 stars earned.

Cabaret show — ha ha ha ha. It’s a strip club. I have no problem with it being a strip club, but let’s call a spade a spade. It’s a strip club that serves food and wants to be a higher end establishment, but frankly the gyrating women on the stages within line of sight ruin that concept. The food is mediocre, at best, and I would consider that being polite. It didn’t feel like a chef prepared meal, but rather something thrown together to draw in business for the adult club. All portions were very small and they were very inflexible on any alterations.

Went here through a friends recommendations, she said that they been here for the first time and they enjoyed so much specially the cabaret show, she even tells more about how she like the food experience during their visit, i’m kinda excited of what i heard so i really spent a of getting into this place, that i didn’t know that would put me in so much disappointment, sadly we had a very different experience, the food that i ordered are Beef Carpaccio, its a very thin tenderloin beef that has white truffle mustard aioli, and crostini in it. Steak fries and chopped salads. chopped salads are great because its fresh and i find it very healthy but the Beef Carpaccio are terribly bland and tensile, i couldn’t even eat it, fries is also overcooked. It’s really a great disappointment to me since I traveled far just to get here, paid expensive yet mediocre food. wish i didn’t come.

4 stars only for the Merlot wine which was way too sweet for a Merlot and a little over-priced. We went here for Valentine’s Day night dinner. The hostess was so nice. Told us an hour and a half and within 20 minutes we were sat. So be patient. They seem to over estimate the wait time. We got the special 14oz ribeye and split it. The spinach was not great with no taste but the steak and potatoes were awesome. The house salad is to die for. Best salad I have had for a very long time. The desert and wait staff were excellent. We enjoyed our dinner and visit. It is small so time your visit right but a must in Glenwood!

I had bought a Groupon for this place as it said a five course meal and a cabaret show. Cabaret show my ass it was top less women striping and it continues next door after dinner. Thought this would be a great date for us complete rip off. Started with lobster macaroni and cheese which was the highlight of the meal. The next course was this cold soup that made my tounge burn couldn’t even finish it. The main course was grass fed steak which was good until I got to the part with the burn your mouth butter. Was barely edible. I will never come to this establishment again rip when you owe $ 12 in taxes for a meal you could barely choke down.

we had the 5 course Groupon meal for 2 people that took a $ 150 dinner down to around $ 75. It consisted of the following: a very small bowl(about the size of a ramekin) filled with lobster mac and cheese. To me it tasted like a store bought box of mac and cheese that you make yourself with butter and milk, with maybe 2 or 3 small pieces of lobster thrown in.(the status if the lobster was real is unknown). next was a chilled vichyssoise with leek garnish. This was a soup that tasted good upon first spoonful, but later it had a weird biting and numbing effect on my tongue. I had to abandon this soup at only two or three spoonfuls because of this effect. But the bread that came with the soup was soft and good. A chopped salad with seasonal greens and vegetables, soja vinaigrette. This salad was good and was one of the better things that came from this meal. The lettuce and other ingredients was fresh and flavorful. A 10oz charbroiled all natural grass-fed rib eye steak. Although tender and flavorful, half of this steak was fatty gristle, The groupon ad tells how the chef is classically trained and worked at many 5 star restaurants, well any person that ever grilled up a steak in their backyard knows you cut off the fat and dont serve to your guest/customer. The ad also mentions that the steak is served with golden beet risotto and black peppercorn sausage. This was clearly absent from my our plates. A selection of 3 chef-inspired mini desserts per pair. Again, Although the ad says 3, we only received 2. One was a peach cobbler which was sadly the best thing on the menu and a what looked like an over sized reeses peanut butter cup, filled with white chocolate and topped with peanuts. I didn’t mind the entertainment, but it was a shocker for my girlfriend(who purchased the Groupon) for it was topless girls dancing on a runway that ran along the dinner tables. Most of them danced good, but there was a few that just stood there and really didnt do anything. both me and my girlfriend have used many Groupons at many different places and normally we show the Groupon to the waitress and that’s it. After we gave the Groupon to the waiter at this place, he came back saying we still owed $ 12 for«tax and other services » which I though was pretty outrageous considering the poor quality of food we received. If you are you are going to try this place, get there early since it fills up with people that smoke and the smoke cloud tends to hang heavy in the air around you and use the free mixed drink when you use your Unilocal app to check in.

We had a Great time here! We had a groupon for dinner and a «cabaret» show… their version of cabaret is a bit more… topless;) I had no idea it was a straight up strip club until we got there. It was kinda cool while you’re eating they’ll have some of the girls come in to dance(mind you they were kinda lazy in the dinner room), and the club is right outside. The dinner was delicious! Our waiter, an older guy, was kind of a turd tho. He didn’t ever really listen to you, would walk away while we were trying to order, and would leave as soon as he got what he deemed to be a completed order. He was super inattentive when our drinks were low too. The owner popped out and actually helped serve us, he was great! Other than bad Mr. Jeeves, we had an awesome time and spent WAY too much money.

Came in on a groupon. First thing was the cigar smoke. Didn’t realize it was a cigar bar. Had a 5 course meal. The steaks were not so great. One bathroom for the place. The servers were nice till it came time for the bill. Then they handed us a check for 177.00 and figured out the 20% tip based on that price. Never figured out where they got that from since I didn’t pay that much on groupon. Won’t go again

Alright check it out. First off… this place doesn’t get crazy busy all the time… it’s classy, it’s sexy, the food is bomb. The waiters are all super classy and patient… this place has a really dope sexy elegance to it. Tom was our waiter and he treated us like a King and Queen, I gave him lots’a money… he earned it… check this place out and ask the waiters what to eat/drink/smoke. Amazing experience going to do my birthday there.

Cy is a very sexy steakhouse! Their steaks are so delicious and the lobster mac & cheese is to die for! We started our meal with a table side Caesar salad. The presentation was great! Our servers name is Randy and he has been so personable, friendly, funny, and charming! I will be back soon! Great place for an intimate, sexy date night or even a bachelorette/bachelor party!

We got a groupon for a 5-course meal. Food was better than expected, small portions but we were very very full by the end. I like the crab custard appetizer, but it’s extremely small. Soup was ok, salad was very good. Steak looked small but was very filling. The chocolate dessert was awesome. Service was decent, but definitely not worth the«suggested» tips of $ 35. The servers were old and kept calling us kids… That was a bit weird… And they charge tax based on the original value of the meal, about $ 25. Dancers were not very classy. And they were in the middle of the restaurant, so don’t bring kids. People smoked inside the restaurant. I didn’t appreciate that…

CY’s is a great spot for a great meal. My friend and I went for dinner a few weeks ago and were lucky enough to partake in the chef’s blind tasting menu. We were served an amuse bouche of a duck confit ravioli with such an incredible sauce, among many other delicious dishes from lobster bisque to steak tartare. Our main course of salmon with pea orzo and a hanger steak was sensational. Dessert and drinks were great too along with the service. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and polite and he was also great at pairing our drinks with our courses. Some people may be put off by the environment… the restaurant does have a catwalk for the ladies who work at the adjoining Diamond Cabaret to strut down during dinner service. But if you’re also someone who appreciates an elegant atmosphere with a great staff and wonderful menu, it’s easy to overlook the dancers. If you are looking for a place to celebrate a bachelor or bachelorette party or a special occasion, it would be awesome.

Visited there recently and with the typical Groupon deal. Food was not bad, but compares more to a steak at an Outback Steakhouse than one of Denver’s finest steakhouses. Even at a place like this, what you get and what you pay for should be intertwined(i.e., value). Don’t be mistaken that the Groupon covers even most of the costs of the«great deal». Drinks are incredibly expensive, and the price they«say» the food is worth, which forms the basis of the tip(and somehow the sales tax — see below), is ridiculously high and unreasonable. You may think you are turning on a small faucet, but there is a powerful fire hydrant behind there about to soak you. But most important to me was a small part of the bill that most people probably don’t even consider. When a purchase is made at almost anywhere, sales tax is determined based on the discounted price, or what you would pay if the sales tax did not apply. At this place however, they calculate sales tax on the pre-discounted price and apply the Groupon at the end on that final price. This is NOT correct and, with the already super-high costs, results in significant overpayment. I have no idea if they keep this excess money from their customers or actually overpay the tax authorities, but an establishment that rips its customers off like this will never get any of my business again.

I’ve been here several times and have always had a great experience! As for some of the groupon reviews let me start off by saying maybe you should do some research on a place before you decide to purchase. Yes there is a strip club next door, yes one of the stages the girls work is in the restaurant, so yes you will see the female form on display. My suggestion is to sit away from the stage if you do not want to partake in the show element. And yes there is a humidor on site and tobacco products are for sale and may be smoked on the premises. I do not smoke but am not bothered by others do at their own tables. And quit whining about price did they not see the $$$$ price rating? I always get the french onion soup it is superb! Rich veal stock swimming with sweet caramelized onions topped with a hearty portion of bubbly Gruyère cheese! You have to try it! I love a medium rare ribeye and it is always cooked to juicy perfection, served along side bone marrow. Now if this is something you haven’t tried I would highly recommend it tastes rich and meaty almost like a meat butter. For dessert we tried the flambé with is done table side! Which is one heck of a show and delicious! Anyone on the fence about this place I would highly recommend it! Your tastebuds will go on a journey!

We have enjoyed CY for several years, as often as we can afford. The food has never disappointed us… juicy steaks cooked perfectly, delicious and creative sides and by far the best drinks. Even if the food were the only reason to go, it would be worth it, but the service keeps us coming back. Cliff, Zach, Randy, Thomas and Craig are professionals who take service seriously and make us feel special every time we visit. The entertainers aren’t too bad either. I can’t wait to go back.

We went here on a Groupon. «Five-Course Upscale Meal and Cabaret Show.» I would say it’s too expensive for what you get even with the 50% groupon. What I didn’t like is that, when you showed up they don’t really tell you anything, they just sat you down and give you expensive drink menus. They didn’t say«The food has been pre-fixed» so you don’t need to worry about ordering or anything. At this point we felt kinda pressured to order the $ 10 beer or $ 15 glass of wine. I guess this is how they make money. Some of us just kinda want to try the food, and we were pretty hungry. So can we get the food now? I would have give them a 3 stars but we had issues with using our groupon, and thus we were running late for our comedy show down the streets. Service was decent; but the groupon thing was agitating. The guy acted like if he didn’t make sure the groupon was valid we would try to use it again and he made a comment«well, you can come back I guess and use it again if I didn’t redeem it correctly» as If! I don’t think I would go back even if it’s 80%. We tipped 20% on the actual full priced of $ 380($ 300 for the meal which was $ 150 with groupon and $ 80 worth of mostly my friend’s drinks! lol) because my gentleman & friends are too generous, we we know they waitstaff gotta eat too. In my opinion, if you want steak, go down to Ruth Chris’s or the Keg or something down the streets. IF you want to see the«show» just pay the cover charge and go watch.

If I could mark it «0» stars, I would. Very deceptive and WAY overpriced(especially considering the non-optional 20% gratuity of $ 35)! The so-called show is actually just a strip club next door. Ugh! Disgusted and aggravated and unsatisfied with the mediocre food! Way to go, Amazon Local! Next time research the deals you advertise or at the very least bill it for what it is!!!

We went here while visiting Denver because we wanted to try a local steakhouse. I wasn’t excited that it was connected to a strip club, but Unilocal reviews put my mind at ease. The only problem we encountered was when the door separating the strip club from the restaurant opened it was an extremely loud blast of music. Great service, which I guess makes sense for a business connected to a strip club. Cheesy décor, which I guess makes sense next door to a strip club. Overpriced which makes sense for a steakhouse connected to a strip club. Food was just good. For $ 49 I would expect an amazing ribeye. The same for the $ 40 filet. We were annoyed by the $ 5 «mixologist» charge on our martini’s. If you want to charge me $ 18 for a drink just do it. No need to somehow justify the price because someone had to shake the drink for 5 seconds. It’s not like we ordered drinks that took 10 minutes of muddling. In the end this is a place for people attending trade shows at the convention center and sales people to take customers out for«entertainment».

The only reason I give this place an extra star is because the food was semi-decent and the service was OK, but the food was NOT worth the price, even with the Groupon.(The best part of the entire meal was the bread, which tasted fresh and delicious!) They should be honest with the groupon deal and say, «‘Five’ Courses and a sad, depressing strip show in the other room that you can’t even see and most likely won’t want to after you feel gross and full from all the overly-spiced and salted food.» If you advertise a «Caberet» show, then maybe you should actually have a show that lives up to that word. Just say«boring strippers and overpriced drinks» and be honest with everyone.

CY steak house is a real treat. Very sexy atmosphere and to top it off they have amazing food. I had the Apricot Honey Glazed King Salmon with Cilantro Citrus Basmati Rice. The salmon was so moist and delicious. My husband had the Filet Mignon served with the Roasted Herbed Veal Morrow. We had never had steak served this way and it was great! For desert we had their Crème Brûlée and Flourless Chocolate Torte, Wow! I was in heaven! The service was impeccable, we never waited for anything. They have an extensive wine list that is very impressive. We will be going back very soon! Thank you Cliff Young for an amazing experience!
