Cherry Famous Pizza

I went in based off the reviews. I just wanted one slice of pizza. They had just pulled a fresh pizza out of the oven, so I added some toppings and had my slice in less than 5 minutes. It was $ 3.50 — not bad. The pizza was good. Here’s the bad part: I saw the guys in the back using their bare hands, no gloves, even on pizza that was cooked. I saw this after I ate my slice. Lol. Probably wouldn’t have eaten mine had I seen the handling prior. Didn’t seem very sanitary. The inside of the place could use a refresh, it’s pretty dated. If the pizza were crap, this would have been a 1 star review.

Place is legit! We live like literally across the street and there are many nights when we will run across the street and grab a slice and make a salad! Pretty damn good if you ask me. A slice is like 3 bucks if you add pepperoni! They’re pretty quick, the crust is good… all around a great slice of pizza. We could not be happier living right across the street from this place!

Good pizza; not so good customer service. We called to order a large pepperoni pizza and was told to give them 20 minutes. We arrived 20 minutes later and the man behind the counter asked what took us so long? He acted us if we’d been forever and told us our pizza had been out of the oven for some time. He then brought out an extra large pizza and charged us the extra large price. I explained that I ordered a large and he gave us 2 options: #1 buy the mistake pizza which was bigger and more expensive than we wanted or #2 wait another 15 – 20 minutes for them to make the correct pizza. We opted for #1 as we were here traveling from out of town and then I noticed a coupon on the counter that offered a free 2-​liter for the price of an extra large pizza. I asked if we could have it. The man now seemed annoyed and I tried to make a joke about this correcting the size mistake. He rolled his eyes and gave us our pizza and free 2-​liter and sent us on our way. The pizza was good. We gave it a solid 8. The crust was simple but pretty good too. Sadly, our credit card was phished about 30 minutes later — and this was the last place we used our card. We have no idea if there was a connection but after thinking about the annoyance — over their own mistake, we couldn’t rule it out 100%. Take the previous reviews advice and PICK-​UP (vs. delivery) and my recommendation is PAY CASH and ensure your order is correct and if not, pay your proper amount or use one of those awesome coupons on the counter and make it right for yourself :-)

This place is legit. Nothing to speak of from the outside… or the inside… but damn, delicious. Sausage was awesome and the sauce had great flavor. A bit sweet, but not overwhelming. Pizza has a thinner crust, but not cracker thin. It’s got a good chew to it with a thicker edge.
It looks like it’s just a two person show, so I’m sure if they’re busy it’s hectic. This place is worth a shot. Wish I lived a bit closer.

Get the cherry famous pizza. Cream cheese on a pizza? I thought it was crazy. So darn good. Service can be slow but worth it!

It was during lunch that I had to finish all the given task and I got no time to take my meal. So, decided for delivery service, I was so happy because they came sooner than the said time. I love efficiency and quickness of this establishment, highly recommended for those busy persons who don’t have time to go out for lunch.

Ok pizza. Mediocre service.
I ordered a vegetarian pizza and some bread sticks. 30 min. Boom. Done.
I went to pick up my pizza and…
1) pizza wasn’t ready
2) they never made the bread sticks
Unfortunately it is the closest pizza to my friends place. Will probably keep going

When I asked about my bread sticks dude kept asking «bread sticks?» Like he had no idea what I was talking about.
Two stars. I’m willing to bet most of their business is based on people who don’t want to walk to a farther pizza place.

I just had Cherry Famous Pizza for the second time, and I figured it was time for a review. Being new to ordering here, I found the folks who work here incredibly nice and willing to give recommendations based on what they really like. Tonight I had the White Pizza and it was INCREDIBLE. The pizza was cooked to perfection and tasted like it was just out of the oven. Everything was in balance and the herbs just took it over the top. The delivery driver, who also happened to take my order was also super friendly and down to earth.
I like to try a variety of places when I order in or go out to eat, but it’s going to be tough to pry this places number out of my contacts list.

I ordered here for the first time. It took over 2 hours for 4 slices of pizza to get here and when we called and asked they claimed it was taking so long because they had to make a whole pizza for the slices… which makes sense but that still does not take over an hour. Weird. The pizza overall was pretty good, better than some but nothing special. Was not worth the wait.

Ordered the calzone the first time and it was pretty good, but the pizza is amazing! Love the crust on this pizza. Not too thick, not too thin… just perfect! A must try if you like NY Style pizza!

This place is terrible — at least with delivery. I ordered a pizza hours ago through Unilocal,it’s still not here and they dont pick up their phone?!? How can you possibly run a business this way?!? Complete waste. I

By far, the best pizza i have tried since moving here almost 6 months ago. Even a simple cheese pizza tastes out of this world. The bread, salad, and other menu items are also better than one would expect from a pizza restauraunt.
I have never dined-​in at their physical location, but i can vouch for their speedy and friendly delivery service.
It’s also not too pricey, which is a relief, as i order from their often. A medium pizza, bread sticks (comes with every order), and salad costs roughly $ 20 depending on the specific type of pizza and salad ordered.

The meat lovers and cheese pizza was so good. We are from out of of town and had a craving for piiza one night. We found Cherry’s pizza through Unilocal and was so glad we did so. Will definitely try to go back before we leave. We will remember this place if we ever get back into town.

Huge Slices for lunch! It’s been a while since I’ve seen a quality sized pizza slice.
I can’t say the sauce is the best I’ve ever had, but the crust was on par.
This ranks high for value to food ratio. I walked out with 2 huge cheese slices for just under $ 5.
Anyway, if your looking for a quick and decent pizza fix without paying out the ass, check these guys out.

Dont call these guys they dont answer their phone what a lame place and why would you have hours of operation if your not going to operate

This place was pretty good. Its a mom n pops shop — and I love supporting these types of places. Good pizza, additional toppings could be cheaper but hey, I’m still ordering it time and time again aren’t I?

I have been a fan of the Khalifa’s pizza since his days on Broadway. Now it’s closer to home and in my delivery range. This is the absolute closest thing I have gotten to a NY slice in Denver. The crust is crispy where it needs to be, bubbly where it should be and chewy in just the right places. The sauce is out of this world. I can’t recommend this Famous enough!

We were heading back from my parents place and search for take out on the way home. Timing was perfect — order came out of the oven just as we walked in the door. Inexpensive — but really good pizza. I really like the sauce — not too sweet and plenty of flavor. Next time I will order a side of it to dip my crust it.

I can’t believe I’ve never tried this place before! Like others said not really New York style pizza… it’s kind of got his own thing going on but it’s delicious!
I placed an order for pickup (medium cheese… seemed like large!) 15 min later… fast friendly service & pizza was hot & ready the bread is so so good i could hardly describe it! It was so crispy and chewy the sauce was perfect too its just tastes like real good pizza!
I will NEVER order papa johns or Pizza Hut or anything like that again… with this right around the corner!
