This place is GOOOOD! I got a regular BB and I’m probably gonna be full til breakfast tomorrow. Inexpensive too! My husband and I will be back for sure.

Breakfast burritos are tasty. But theres not enough chili in the burritos(especially the potatoe). Can be very very very dry at times.

Updating my review from 7 years ago. I still live right near this place and have continued to go there from time to time ever since I posted my original review. Denver has changed in that time, and costs for prepared food in the City have also gone up. During this time, Burrito Giant has remained very consistent with their food, with small changed in price — which has made the place a better value. I would now say this place is a good to very good value. The service is always pretty fast even when they’re slammed, and they are *always* very friendly to everyone. Glad to see small, independently owned places like this stay successful. Good job Burrito Giant.

My favorite breakfast burritos! I have never been disappointed. I usually get a couple of Jr. size egg, potato, bacon w/the mild vegetarian green chile. Close 2nd goes to Asada Rico on 16th St Mall.

Stopped by here to pick up a breakfast burrito for me and the family. Had never been here, cluttered with what looks to be trash and junk all over inside. 3 breakfast burritos with chorizo was 14 dollars! I about fell over. Im use to 2.50 for a simple breakfast burrito. Santiagos. But then I saw they charge .75 cents for cheese lol. Really? But whatever. Get home and have to say I’m disappointed. The burrito is nothing but POTATOES, I had a had a bite of eggs twice maybe. Can’t taste the chili, the chorizo was ok, and I think there was ground beef in there as well. Oh and my 75cents worth of cheese was laughable. I opened it up to see a few shreds… Won’t be going here again, and will surely tell friends, family to avoid. The price has to be the biggest disappointment. Maybe try good times on wads for a cheaper and better burrito. Which I can’t believe I’m writing.

Easy fast delicious breakfast burritos. The menu is simple and I respect that. Vegetarian hot green chile is so good. The atmosphere in the restaurant while you wait is quite interesting. Check it out

Burrito Giant, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways… 1. The weirdest business model you’ll ever encounter. Yes, you’re reading the reviews correctly: this place really does sell burritos, barbecue, used gym equipment, and pottery all under one roof. Why? Well, why not? It’s unique and absurd and adds to the character of the place. Shh, just admire the sheer oddity of it and order your food to go. 2. A la carte burritos, at a very decent price. You start by choosing a size and a «base” — eggs & potato, beans, or both– and then go from there. Their offerings are pretty limited– basically just burritos and a couple sides(or the aforementioned bbq), so don’t go in expecting a full menu. The junior burritos are a steal and even a regular sized, smothered burrito will only set you back $ 6 or so(depending on what you get inside– I usually just stick with bean and cheese). 3. Several different varieties of green chile. They offer: pork– hot or mild, vegetarian– hot or mild, and beef– medium. So far, I’ve tried the hot pork chile and the hot vegetarian chile. I am very curious about the beef one and plan on trying it next time I’m in, because I’ve never really seen it offered anywhere else before. I would probably recommend the pork over the vegetarian– the vegetarian chile had a unusually thick consistency that sort of threw me off. The pork chile comes with big chunks of pork in it, which is not really my favorite, but it’s still tasty. I wish the hot was spicier, but such is life. 4. Sporks. That’s right; sporks. I dare you to find a better utensil to eat smothered burritos with.

The pork green chili burritos are so good and the staff is always so friendly. If I could change anything it would be to add fries to the menu. :-)

Decent burritos! All ingredients taste delicious. ~$ 6 for reg burrito with cheese and sour cream. Maybe add some more chicken because I didn’t get much.

This place is a graffiti art gallery on the outside and a soup kitchen for the homeless/storage for kitchen supplies on the inside. The burrito is a tortilla filled with different types of mush. Yumm! Not really. Better suited for feeding prisoners. The art outside is so misleading for its much better than the food.

The vegetarian green chili is the best in town! I’ve searched endlessly and who knew this hole in the wall/gym equipment warehouse would be the place! I have a bfast burrito hear on the regular and am also a huge fan of the bean burritos. The ambience is certainly not the draw but the staff is very friendly and fast. You can also get pints of the green chili(of which there are five kinds).

A solid place for breakfast burritos, and their tacos are awesome too! I’ve been a long time Santiago’s regular, but they are always busy and inconsistent with their quality. Finally I just got sick of dealing with them, and started coming to Burrito Giant. These guys are awesome… Always friendly, very fast, excellent burritos, and really cheap. The best place for BB on the north side!

Great little place, awesome food, the smokey smell from the fresh pulled pork enticed my desire to try the deluxe green chili pulled pork burrito and I was not disappointed. Glad to have found this great little burrito joint next time I’ll try their BBQ lunch plate

If you’re just looking for a gigantic breakfast burrito and tons of options, this might be your jam. Choice between egg and potato, beans, and beef. Then choose a chile(pork hot, beef hot, veg hot, veg mild), and any extras(cheese, meat, etc). And what size(junior, regular, and large?) I was in the area doing some errands and was craving a breakfast burrito. Trusty Unilocal to the rescue. I ordered an egg and potato, with pork hot, and cheese. Regular sized. Oops. Apparently, we are supersized here too. The flavors were terrific, but the burrito was heavy on the potato, and light on egg. It would be greatly improved if they mixed up the insides so that every bite had cheese and chile in it. Still. My $ 2 burrito from little Anita’s is still my #1 squeeze.

Can’t beat this place for the price! It’s just a little place inside and if you’re driving the speed limit you very well could blink and miss it! If you do happen to stumble into this very small spot on 38th you are in for a treat. Meat eaters go for the smothered deluxe burrito and veg heads should go with the smothered option. I tried their veggie hot chili and ooowweeee was it good! We honestly just went with a rice burrito(split between 2) and it kept me full for 3 – 4 hours! When you consider the portions, prices, and quality this place deserves nothing less than 5 stars. «75¢ just for cheese» you say with disbelief. That brings your total to about $ 6 — so yea, treat yoself today!

I really wanted this place to be phenomenal, kind of like a lot of the reviews suggested it was. I wanted it to be something like The Burrito Company on Santa Fe. It’s not… I ordered a smothered breakfast burrito with bacon. Two-problems: 1). If this burrito was smothered it was«lightly» smothered(is that smothered, or smotheredish?”) from the bottom. There was zero chile verde on top. 2). For«bacon» they actually dumped about ¼ of a standard sized«bacon bits» container on my burrito. That’s right, it’s not the standard breakfast meat we all know and love, they are topping their breakfast burritos with a salad or baked potato condiment. Bacon bits made me really sick when I was a age 9 one-time when I ate about ¼ of a standard sized«bacon bits» container. ¡Yuck! I don’t think I will be able to get past the bacon bits on a breakfast burrito, and had I not experienced this and gone veggie instead, and if it were actually smothered I could see a possible 3.5-star review. I won’t be back, unfortunately. BACONBITS!!! For reals!

There’s always been the search for yummy breakfast burritos. Not«gringo» style nor made for them but the real deal nice n spicy. I could have had it kicked up a knotch ladies! Way to go! The guy cutting the bacon too cool for his shades in dimmed light– lol Now this is the place to be. Know this has been a quest. «Breakfast burrito with the right spice to the chili, fresh ingredients, portioned right, priced right… So far the surprisingly pleasant ladies behind the counter are at the top!

Locally owned burrito place that should give the local chipotle a run for it’s money. Great burrito options, fun and friendly staff, lots of locals, cool artistic vibe. Definitely a local business worth supporting. Thanks for being awesome Burrito Giant.

While in Colorado we tried breakfast burritos at a couple different places, and sadly this one was a disappointment. I liked the quirky venue but not the food. I ordered their smothered breakfast burrito and thought it had too much potato and not enough egg, and the egg it did have tasted overcooked and a bit stale. They forgot to put the beans inside, so it was just added on top. The veggie chili was good and spicy, but not enough to save the rest of the ensemble. From the other reviews I’m thinking maybe we just came on a bad day.
