A lot of times I hope these reviews are looked at by the owners of non chain establishments; because criticism is not to tear down but to build upon. The friendliness was all there and everything was clean. Mostly thank you for being there(while we got tires next door) because we simply did not want to walk over to Mickey Ds while we waited. But to be great hear this: never ever serve a bedrock of Colorado and New Mexico(Huevos Rancheros) with refried beans. Serve a corn tortilla with the eggs & potatoes and a choice of a robusto green or red chile. Then lastly serve with meat of choice, two flour tortillas and«freshly cooked pinto beans». Real pinto beans in my humble opinion are the core of life and should be for the whole world. They simply cannot be replaced by refried beans because fresh cooked pinto beans never lie about their age and provide you with gusto to face the world. The best places always have fresh Pinto beans. So in summary, I was kinda happy(but always micromanage the coffee levels), but since the family enjoyed it that made it better.

«The tzatziki sauce is never frozen, it’s made fresh and stays refrigerated. And the restaurant doesn’t offer chicken gyros. If you’re going to lie on Unilocal, get some facts straight.» Someone just sent me this comment on my previous review. Ha. Lie? The tzatziki was separately meaning it wasn’t fresh and sitting in the fridge for quite some time. And no chicken gyros? MYSISTERORDERED A CHICKENGYRO. I have no reason to «lie» about a bad experience with subpar food. Needless to say, everyone is entitled to their own opinions and this is mine.

I’m surprised this place as 4 stars. We went there for breakfast on Sunday, my friend and I both got«the usual» which was eggs, hashbrowns, a breakfast meat, and a choice of a side, we both got biscuits and gravy. The eggs were over cooked, I ordered over easy and they were over hard. The hasbrowns were undercooked, the bacon was chewy and cold, and the biscuits and gravy were nasty, everything was definitely from a can. My husband ordered a mexican meal he said it was pretty good. The server was great and she deserves 5 stars, but the food was pretty awful. Won’t be coming back.

Best Breakfast in town!!! Family owned business, same consistent people always there and just an overall GREAT place to eat. The food is just as home cooked and perfect as it gets!!! I have been going here for 10 years. My wife and I had our first date here and have been coming back and least once every other month for the past 5 years.

Our experience here was nice. There is a great selection of food on the menu, and prices are very reasonable. We enjoyed our food, however, I would not recommend the biscuits and gravy, as the gravy was a bit bland. The servers were very busy, but always attentive and friendly. There was even a darling train circling the ceiling on the east side of the restaurant. Adds that extra touch of charming character. Go Breakfast Inn Dinner Too!

Enjoyed biscuits and gravy while my husband enjoyed homemade hash. Great friendly service. I don’t expect much out breakfast food. I can’t imagine ever being blown away by an egg, so I have to say the food was what is expected. Good food with flavor and large portions. But the service was head and shoulders above other places. And not just our server. Was a nice atmosphere with a great soda. We will be back!

I love a good Breakfast… So coming here to meet up with family was a good choice. Customer Service is on point here! Our waitress was so friendly and remembered my sister-in-law(she was here with her friends the week before). The kids breakfast meals were a perfect size. No child could ever say no to a yummy pancake(and these pancakes were yummy in their tummies!). My hubby really liked the country skillet with biscuits and gravy on the side. I ordered the homemade corned beef(it has prime rib) and hashbrowns, with eggs(and a side of gravy) along with pancakes(which I don’t usually do pancakes because of the gluten, but I’m not going to lie, I took a few bites and enjoyed it). If you are in the area and craving a good breakfast, this is the place to go. For the price and service, I’d come back again.

Great Breakfast. I love diner style breakfast. Eggs over easy, biscuits and gravy, meat, and white toast. Nothing complicated. They did it perfect. For those of you who like fancier breakfast like a burrito(which in my mind is a lunch food!) waffles, etc… they have you covered too.

If you want super healthy food this might not be your place. But if you want a good stick to your ribs meal come here. Service is extremely quick and waitstaff is friendly and coffee is good. If you want to have an attitude and concentrate on your smart phone head on over to Snooze. Only real people needed here. I’ll be back. Thanks.

The food was fantastic, and the service was phenomenal. Our waitress was a doll and she took such good care of us. I came in with a craving for smothered cheese fries, and they did not disappoint. It’s a cozy little diner with a lot of history behind it. I definitely recommend checking out this place!

This place continues to dominate the breakfast game. Stashed away in SE Denver’s business district is the best Breakfast spot in the city. For pure foodie and price point the breakfast inn crushes it. Try the Dave Omelet or the Chicken Souvlaki and Eggs or any of there signature and skillets and wapow you get pancakes too with everything!!!

In and out fast on a Saturday morning, it was all business once inside. Breakfast is often a fun memorable time. The service was quick, even while moderately busy. The menu was extensive. I had the biscuits and gravy, a side of bacon and rye toast. Standard biscuits and gravy. Nothing spectacular that made me faint in ecstasy. Rye toast wasn’t very toasted and lacked butter. Bacon was bacon. Coffee was delicious. Good service but hardly verbal interaction between the staff occurred at all dining levels. Was sort of impersonal really. But I was in and out fast, yes yes, that was excellent. The prices were good and competitive. I like supporting local restaurants. Try it out. You’ll be glad you did.

They burnt my toast and the meal got worse from there. The one positive thing this place had was a full parking lot but a lot of people on the day that I went had slow service. After 15 minutes, I finally got seated and another 10 minutes to get waited on. My order pancakes with sausage with a side of toast. The toast was burnt so badly that the second attempt it was barely warmed. Not impressed at all with the place as I ate my breakfast later that morning at home. Not worth your time to go.

Easily my favorite breakfast joint in the state, but they make a mean lunch and dinner as well. The BEST green chili I’ve ever had, hands down. Their breakfast burritos are life-affirming and probably my favorite menu item, although their specialty omelettes are pretty hard to beat. For as much as I love dining-in at the Breakfast Inn, sometimes I’m in a huge rush, and they offer a to-go only handheld breakfast burrito for $ 3.75 ready about five minutes after you call in. Watch for their specials — Chicken & Waffles and the Sticky Bun French Toast are both incredible. The food quality is top-notch and the staff is so friendly and accommodating, without exception, every time. A party of two should expect to spend about $ 25 pre-tip, and it’ll be the best $ 25 you’ll spend all week!

Don’t let looks deceive you. This place is about as divey and unimpressive as it gets. HOWEVER, if you are looking for an incredible breakfast with a staff that knows many of their regulars by name, The Breakfast Inn is for you. I had the BI skillet loaded with all kinds of veggies, cheese and bacon, along with sourdough toast. The BF had a breakfast burrito smothered with spicy green chile and pancakes. Oh. My. God. I am not a pancake lover by any means. But I could not stop eating them. They were fluffy and creamy with a hint of vanilla. The green chile was flavorful with a great kick. And my skillet was piping hot, cheesy and delicious. One of the best breakfasts we have had in a long time. And although I have been catching flack for using my tag line in too many of my reviews, I’ll say it again: I will definitely be back.
