Friendly, relaxed place to meet, hang out and work with the free wi-fi or sample decent coffee, sandwiches or ice cream. Culturally mixed crowd(somewhat rare in Denver) is a bonus. Awesome location right at the center of 5 points with nice big windows for views and natural light. Oh and they have music, poetry and other events on some evenings.

This is a friendly place in 5 Points I frequent when I’m working in the area. Good coffee, yummy micro-batch icecream(sometimes Sweet Potato Pie flavor!!). Free wifi, newspapers, and magazines floating around are plusses, too, and there’s a parking lot in back(entrance on Washington St.). The sandwiches are tasty and come with pickles and chips, although they’re on the pricier side for their size. The Virginia Veggie one is just delicious, though, and the 5 Points Pastrami is another favorite. I have to say the owner(Sudan) is just the coolest person, and everyone I’ve ever met working there seems to be happy about being there.

This is my neighborhood coffee shop and I have to give it props for being a great meeting place in Five Points… and really one of the few like it. There is a great big screen in the back for viewing parties and events, of which there are many. There is a piano up front that is sometimes played by a nice old man who rocks out some soothing jazz and there’s lots of space to meet with your friends, associates or neighbors. All that and the owner Sudan is probably one of the nicest people in the neighborhood. His smile alone is worth a trip. I have to say that the coffee is usually just fine… nothing special, but it does the trick for caffeine when you need it. The ice cream and sandwiches on the other hand are great! Decently priced and delicious. We used to stop here at least once a weekend when we were remodeling our house and relax in the AC while enjoying some yummy food with a milkshake. I’d recommend passing on the coffee and ordering a delicious milkshake or sundae!

This is a cozy neighborhood spot. Located right next door to the Crossroads Theater — 5 Points, it’s a great location for coffee before or after a show. The owner is genuinely sweet and very friendly — he makes you feel like you’ve been coming in there your whole life. This is a great place to meet friends, business associates, or a date. There is also a big screen in the back which is perfect for catching up on the news, sports, or cartoons if you bring your kids. …and yes, they have ice cream. This local coffee shop supports numerous local events going on in the community and is an outstanding representative of what your local business owners are doing right!

This is a big coffee shop. But, other than it’s size there isn’t anything too remarkable about it. Oh, wait. They do serve ice cream, which is unusual at most coffee places, but since it was super cold when I stopped by I didn’t have any. They serve standard breakfast fare — burritos, sandwiches, muffins, bagels. And the coffee is pretty good. The one thing that stands out is the friendliness of the man working the counter. The people hanging out in the coffee shop today seemed to be regulars and he was having conversations with them as if he knew them well. So, I can understand the appeal of that if you live in the neighborhood and want to come here often. Also, they were playing some pretty sweet R&B. That’s a rare find in a coffee shop because usually it’s all indie rock. I enjoyed it.

A nice space, nice staff and a relaxed feel that’s never too busy. I like it ‘cuz it’s in Five Points, a neighborhood close to downtown that I don’t get to enough.

Decent coffee, pastry selection, and some food and ice cream too. Originally stopped in to hear a friend play. Don’t know if they still do live music though. Later I was working in the neighborhood and stopped in here often. Not the«end all» spot, but a good one.
