This place is the worst. The original downtown was the only good New York pizza in Denver 20+ years ago. The Stapleton franchise is the most inept, inconsistent pizza in Denver. They have: completely lost delivery orders, completely lost take out orders. Given my take out to another customer, which took them 15 minutes to realize before they started to remake my pizza which took another 30 minutes. Tonight they quoted me a 30 minute pickup time. Knowing how inept they are, I waited 45 minutes before showing up. The BEST is that they take your payment before checking to see if your pizza is ready. That’s sarcasm, because after I paid, they told me that they hadn’t even started the pizza yet. I would have cancelled my order had I known. The told me it would be 15 more minutes. After 15 minutes they told me it would be another 5. After 5 they told me it would be another 7. So their 30 minute quote actually took 72 minutes. The excuses were beyond lame. «We had a large party come in». So. Fucking. What. If you can’t fulfill my order in the time you quoted me(or even TWICE the time you quoted me), call. The first thing you do when you take my order is ask for my phone number. And if the large party was there before I placed _my_order, why did you quote me 30 minutes? This was the last straw. I want to support local businesses and I’ve been an Anthony’s customer for almost a quarter of a century, but I’m done with them. Mici’s it is from now on.

Wow, this Anthony’s is amazing. The guys in there are always so nice and friendly to us when we go in. Recently had a special request that was slightly out of the norm and the cashiers were very accommodating. Thoroughly impressed with the level of service. Keep it up guys!

If I could give it no stars, I would. I don’t even know where to begin with this place, but I guess the staff would be the first of the long list. They are rude, impatient, and they take their job so seriously that they take it out on their customers in a very negative way. Their organization suffers because their employees are obviously trying to assert some sort of authority over one another. You can feel the childish tension in the air. The other big thing is the portion sizes of their pasta are outrageously small. We sent our food back and got a refund because it just wasn’t worth the price we paid. I will probably not be returning to any Anthony’s again after my experience with this place.

I felt like I had to write a review in defense for Anthony’s. I just moved to the neighborhood and was craving a calzone. After reading the review about them not adding marinara IN the calzone, I just politely asked if they could. The girl double checked and what do you know… Ask and you shall receive. I think I may even order it without marinara next time to see if it makes it less soggy. They quoted me 30 min for a salad and a calzone on a Tuesday eve. Not a bad wait. I walked down to pick it up and it was ready in 25. For everyone complaining about how long they take to deliver in Stapleton… How about you just walk 10 minutes to pick up your pizza lol The price was a little high, but the calzone was HUGE. Overall, I will be back!

This should be 0 stars. where do I start. This place has awful food. We ordered a gluten free pizza and a calzone for delivery. Delivery took longer than they said(over an hour), and food was cold when it arrived. The calzone did not have red sauce inside or on the side for dipping. The gluten free pizza should just not be served. It was the worst item of ‘food’ that I have ever tasted. The crust was so hard it hurt to chew, the toppings seemed like they were fake, and the flavor was flavorless. I cannot stress enough that this was the worst food I have ever had in my life. I will never eat at this establishment again.

Great pie and good pasta, great atmosphere, and good selection of beer. I’d come here anytime for my pizza in the Stapleton area.

HORRIBLESERVICE 2 hours for delivery & the pizza was cold when received. Called to talk to the manager — never received a call back. I called back again & was told the manager was too busy to talk to me. They offered me 15% on my next order, as they said that is standard??? Please DONOT order from this place — the ownership takes no responsibility. We will NEVER order from this establishment again. Extremely disappointed in the product & the customer service is horrible at best.

This place used to have very decent pizza. Delivery has always been slow, but expected being one of the few delivery places in Stapelton. I am not sure what happened over the past few months but this place has gone way down hill. The past 2 times I have ordered pizza for delivery it has arrived burnt. After over an hour of waiting. Today is the last time we will order from here. My advice, if you want pizza delivery in Stapelton, order from Mici’s.

I don’t understand all the bad reviews but if they can keep this place from getting too crowded then go ahead. It’s great pizza in a great location and I got a large pizza, 2 sodas and a beer for $ 25. Pretty good value. This is a great local pizza place that I’ll definitely go back to.

Excellent experience tonight at Anthony’s. We always love their pizza, especially their slices for a quick lunch. We ordered a white Neapolitan pizza tonight, an extra slice of pepperoni and a drink. When I got there the guy up front gave me an extra drink when I tried to buy one more for my husband. Then, seeing me trying to get two drinks and two boxes of pizza out to the car, he offered to carry the pizzas out to the cat for me. Really great customer service + great pizza. We’ll be back!

Can I please list 0 stars? We have had decent to great pizza here(in the restaurant) & take out once that was average. Ok let’s try it again, they are local to Stapleton. Ordered a pizza to go for delv at 7:09 this eve. We live in Stapleton North, so delivery should be easy, shouldn’t it? Advised at order time: approx 1 hr for delv, a little long but ok. No tonite is not a Bronco’s game or a special eve., it’s Thursday nite. Called at 1 hr 30 min told delv on the way, called at 1 hr 45 min told delv on way &30% off next order, called at 2 hrs & told«your pizza should be there soon, they are on the way». Repeated two more times that No we are done, cancel our order, and to credit out credit card, was advised once again they may be there soon. Hope she got it. it’s now 2 ½ hrs later, think they got it. Warning: do not order for Delivery from this place. Hey, Anthony’s Stapleton: cancel your delv service its non existent & false advertising.

So I order a pizza from this location, one of which Myself or my roommates order from quite frequently. It’s seems to be a toss up whether my my order is correct. Tonight I wanted a 12 «pie cut into squares with chicken, green chili, bacon, onions, and mushrooms. When I received it, it was a mess. The topping were in the center rather then spread out, when I went to eat it, someone obviously cut it the original way and then tried to cut it into squares. I was pretty much unable to eat it because it was cut into so many different pieces and shapes. I don’t know what happened tonight but they aren’t on their Game!

Couldn’t order quickly because of confusion over a coupon code. Couldn’t find my address so manager cancelled my order. Terrible.

I got two slices of Sicilian and even though the slices were huge, it tasted like it was just tossed in a microwave and heated up. It was very plain and not warm at all. This was my first time here and since I believe in 2nd chances I will give it one more try with the neapolitan slices, but it will probably be quite sometime before I go back.

This is decent pizza. They are a little slow and a little pricey but the large is REALLY large. They also have great service, chatty but not overly so and when the messed up and let us pay for a tiramisu that they didn’t have they comped us with two cheesecakes. As for delivery comments I noticed, stapleton is a relatively brand new(still building) little mini city within a city. I don’t think it is quite google friendly. I would suggest they recruit hard amongst teenagers in that neighborhood or train outsiders not to rely on google. Although it seems crazy to deliver to someone who could walk the 8 blocks like I did to pick up the pizza, that is their job as a business so they should take the time to address it the best they can.

I really enjoyed the pizza here. I got a Sicilian with mushrooms and artichoke. My coworker got two Neopolitan slices with pepperoni. The place is very clean. I’ll definitely be back again for another slice!

Eh. Not bad. I grew up on the East coast and this is not authentic New York-style pizza. The crust and sauce are pretty good but something tastes off with their cheese. Super greasy too. I had a slice in the restaurant so not sure if ordering pickup would’ve been better. I do love me a Coke Freestyle machine, though! Bonus.

Have been loyal customers for quite some time, almost weekly, but cannot support this business any longer after the rude, terrible service we received this evening. We live about 8 blocks from the location and the delivery driver called us asking where our home was, as he was 25 blocks past our home. When he finally arrived the pizza was cold, he did not have any change, and two slices of the pizza didn’t even have any cheese on it. The girl on the phone was rude and made no effort to remedy the situation when we called to complain. For as much money as we spend at this establishment on as weekly basis, it would have been in their best interest to send a new pizza. Now we will take our business elsewhere.

I love their pizza and the people that work there are nice, but it is always such a long wait. We ordered the pizza over the phone to avoid the long wait times for a pick up order. Then was told that there would be a half hour wait for the pickup which isn’t bad at all. We decided to grab wine and appetizers at Berkshire nearby. We arrived about 40 – 45 minutes later to pick up our pizza and still waited another 20 – 25 minutes for our pizza :( Despite this one experience I do ENJOY their pizza and still continue to have pizza delivered, but just experience inconsistent wait times fairly often.
