Anthony’s Pizza and Pasta

The pizza here is really good & the slices are huge. Their specials are a good price except for the upcharge to add even just one topping, it would be better if the first topping was included.

Delish warm pizza delivery! Driver was nice and friendly! Great dinner — I was extra appreciative since it was snowing terribly — Anthony’s really delivers! Don’t forget to order a cannoli– very tasty dessert here!

This is really authentic pizza nothing like dominos or pizza hut Anthonys pizzas are huge and come with large toppings… the pizza is pricey but quality and size make it a fair deal… the Supreme comes with massive amounts of veggies… crust is excellent and freshly made
… only complaint this pizza is not good next day when heated back up oven, microwave, doesn’t matter just a weird thing for pizza

Have ordered from this location before, always takes a long time and usually later than quoted. Tonight was quoted 1 ½ hours for delivery which seems crazy but I understand things get busy. They showed up 2 hours 25 minutes after we ordered, almost an hour late, at 9:45 pm. Would not recommend delivery here.

I usually only review when places are great but I am totally fed up with this Anthony’s location… It is my neighborhood location and the only pizza that I really will eat because it’s the closest thing to pizza from the East coast where I am from.
Every single time I call to order from this location the people are rude, they act like I am bothering them. It’s almost like they don’t even want to sell pizza and that customers are an inconvenience. I have absolutely had it. I will never order from this location again unless the staff is completely revamped. I recently had the pleasure of visiting the 120^th location and it was like a different world. No establishment is worth being treated like garbage every single time you go. It is understandable that people have bad days but this is just a bad location with bad people.

They have the best pizzas and pasta all around Denver! Their pizza is huge and big on topping such as pineapples, bell pepper, chicken, Parmesan cheese and spicy peppers. Their sauce dip is to die for as well as their quenching lemonade and super delicious options of cheeses. They are hip and definitely a good source of hanging out with big large and popular groups. It even offers to be such a nice location for dates, meet ups, get together and casual business gatherings. They’ve achieved the best out of the best with everyone’s favorite pizza shop.
I think I’ve checked in with Anthony’s pizza more than other local pizza joints for sure.

Grabbed a takeout pizza from this location on the way back to our new hotel near DIA.
Know this going in before you order: this is no Little Caesars, as in the pizzas are nowhere near $ 5. Our 18″ Sicilian with two toppings was just over $ 20, so be prepared in case that’s more than you would normally spend.
That being said, the quality was excellent. Crust was chewy inside and crispy outside. Pepperoni was a little spicy (which I love and will take any day over bland national chain pizza shop pepperoni), and the sausage was also good with nice texture and flavor. Sauce tasted fresh and was nicely seasoned. And the slices themselves? They were HUGE! Classic NY pizza here. Fold your huge slices and enjoy with a cold beer*!
*Preferably one of the many beers brewed by Sun King out of Indiana. Shameless plug for my favorite local brewery back home ;-). Fresh. Local. Beer.

My friend just pulled a long strand of hair out of her salad. Went up and told the cashier with no apology– no comment. Another salad was brought to our table with no comment. Not the reaction I was hoping for. Makes me wonder how food is handled in the back and gives me little faith that health standards are being met at this location.

Great slice. Quick and friendly service. Rolls for subs crispy outside; soft inside. Perfect quick lunch spot after landing at DEN.

Alright, lets ask the tough questions. Is there anything wrong with a slice of pizza bigger than your head? If your answer to that is yes, then we can’t be friends. You are nothing to me. For all the other people who have their lives in order and answer that question with a resounding no, then Anthony’s is the place for you.
The pizza itself is pretty basic NY style thinness. Anthony’s keeps it flat and simple. Their slices are pretty huge though. Like you could probably pop a pizza slice on your head during a rainstorm and it’d keep your face dry. When you’ve got portion sizes like these guys do here, then you’re doing something right.
Taste wise it really is just average pizza. Don’t come here expecting the finest freakin pizza cuisine this side of the Mississippi. Just come here with those low-​brow greasy expectations and you’ll be happy with what you get. I was happy with just a normal pepperoni pizza because hey, it tasted like what it was supposed to taste like!
Anyways, Anthony’s is a pretty swell spot for a bite to eat. Definitely on my list of solid places to go.

Amazing pizza. I love the food. We had a salad and two HUGE slices of pizza for $ 12.00. Great prices, clean restaurant and eh service. Not horrible but not friendly. I would definitely go back for more, they didn’t scare me away. ;)

Worst service ever! This location is horrible! I ordered for delivery and it estimated about 90 minutes. Extremely long but ok maybe they’re busy. 90 minutes later I get my order delivered. The order was wrong and it was cold! I called back and she said she would credit the «$ 0.40» for the extra bacon. That’s it! Not we’ll remake it or nothing! Asked for a manager and she said we don’t have a manager on duty?! What kind of place runs without someone in charge?! She had me talk to another person that was higher than her. That person said she would remake it and send it out but it would be another 45 minutes! I said my order is wrong and you want me to wait? She said that’s an average delivery time. So don’t go to this location if you expect any sort of good service!!!

The thin crust pizza is gold. And the salad is pretty dandy too. Good price and good service. LOVE IT

I usually do not rate fast food places (hard to screw up), or places that I was at 4 days ago, but there’s an exception to everything I guess but this anythony’s location was that bad. I’ve been eating at Anthony’s for over 10 years at the bowles and santa fe location because it’s the closest thing to eating ny style pizzas without being in the city of ny. we ordered a pick up for a pie and some wings. when we got there, we decided to just dine in because we had to go somewhere shortly afterwards. I got my pizza but didn’t say anything for 10 minutes about my missing wings (figured they were busy… all 3 customers sitting in the place). finally decided to go up to the counter to ask where my wings were at. one girl was playing on the computer, while the other girl was on a personal call. the girl on the computer told me she would check… 15 minutes, still no wings, I went up to ask them, which they gave me attitude like I was bothering them… oh yea. just forgot it in the back in a bag, cold as hell after 50 minutes of waiting (30 for pick up time 20 in the store), not a damn apology, not a do you still want them. nothing, gave it to me like what the hell is wrong with you for wanting the food that you ordered and paid for… I told them I don’t’ want it anymore… cause I’m already full from the pizza and waiting around for them, just straight attitude again from the both of them. this is the most trashy attitude and service I’ve ever gotten from any where… worst than mcds, dennys, and a dumpster in the back alley combined. sure the food was good, but save ur time and energy from getting pissed off.
ps. noticed how many people complained about the service on here, and notice how many times someone actually responded back to their comments, I guess they only want to respond back to the positive ones and can care less about their upset customers.

I ordered for pick up and timed it so that it would be ready just as i got to my neighborhood, but they gave my order to the wrong person! The girl was apologetic enough, but it’s still absurd. How do you give someone else the wrong order? Don’t they check names when customers pick up? They didn’t even offer to comp me. Bullshit. I hate waiting.
I have to update this already because when I got home after they remade my order, they got it wrong! sigh.

Now that’s a pizza. Thought it was pricey, but I found out why. Extra big. Was good. The bread is small, but pizza makes up for it. Anthonys you have my business.

People in Colorado seem to like this place. Tried it 3 times and it failed the test 3 times. Late each time, black ash on the bottom of the pizza and riddled with air bubbles. — I don’t understand what people see in this place.

Good grub clean facility. Odd no napkins at table. But if that’s all that’s negative must be worthwhile.

Nasty, nasty! Ravioli wasn’t cooked, pizza was gross. I had such bad heartburn, nausea and the other end faired no better! Staff was high and the chick acted very put out she had to work!

The pie had to much cheese. The cheese was good but way to much. The sauce was good the crust fair. The gal working was very nice, easy on the eyes, and smiled alot !!!
