The website says call for an estimate. You call and the man is rude and then says I will have to come by for an estimate. What?! Why does your website say call for an estimate. Perhaps it should say call for an estimate appointment.

Jim has always been punctual for most of our appointments. I used using 5280 Carpet Cleaning services for years when we lived in Denver CO. He is always willing to work with you and not try to up sell you with a bait and switch. Jim did a good job on a stain removal from our new Berber carpet initially. Jim Arnoldi, the owner, insisted that our water-​damaged basement was dry when it obviously wasn’t. Jim also insisted the dark stains left on the waterlogged wood underneath the soaked carpet were not mold. Even to an ingénue like myself, I could tell that these dark, concentrically spreading, flower-​shaped stains meant mold and even now we are cleaning the air to remove mold spores that have contaminated our entire basement. To cap it off, he began yelling at my family member to the point where a very nice handyman fixing an unrelated problem with our windows offered to stay for company after he had finished his own job.

Hired 5280 to clean carpets in a vacant home prior to move-​in. Jim arrived for the carpet cleaning appointment 90 minutes late, leaving the carpets wet for furniture arriving later that day. He also had to call for directions, because he hadn’t checked a map prior to the appointment. Upstairs contained only 4 rooms with carpet, and Jim neglected to clean one of them. Pet hair and stains remained in living room and stairwell after cleaning.
