Terrible, terrible. Came to my appointment ten minutes early that I made two weeks ago. Despite my having an appointment, they put two walk ins ahead of me and told me it would be an hour after my appointed time before I would see the doctor. No apology at all. I walked out and will never come back.

The eye doctor here was really great. They got me in on very short notice. He was very quick and very helpful. He showed me the new colored contacts that are really vibrant colors. I was reluctant to change brands but am very glad I did now. This is the best eye doctor I’ve Ben to.

I had a great experience here. No previous eye doctor ever linked my blurred vision with my rosacea before. Dr. Doan was able to prescribe some special eye drops for me and of course update my lens prescription. The world looks like a whole new place. Also, he was able to take my friend in on short notice with her eye infection. Not only does he diagnose the problems well and find a good fix for them, he shows you how you can save money on the prescriptions if you can’t afford insurance. Doctors are usually well educated anyway, but there’s a difference between graduating at the top of the class and at the bottom of the class. Dr. Doan was definitely at the top of his class.

Dr. Doan could not bother to show up to the appointment on time. Waited thirty minutes. Also, office had a screw-up and did not have a fellow patron’s appointment. Won’t be coming back

I was willing to forgive the fact that Dr. Doan was 20 minutes late to my initial appointment with him on Wednesday, August 20. However, this morning I called because one of the new brand contacts he gave me to try ripped in my eye. I wasn’t able to remove the entire contact myself, and couldn’t see the rest of it. So I called his office and spoke to his receptionist. I told her I needed to see Dr. Doan immediately if possible because there was a piece of contact still stuck in my eye, and that I also wanted to change my prescription back to my old contacts that never gave me trouble like this. She asked if I could wait an hour or so and come in. I hesitated because I thought for this sort of situation, they would find a way to quickly squeeze me in just to find the rest of the contact floating in my eye that was extremely painful. I hung up and headed there. I waited in the waiting room for a little over a half an hour. When Dr. Doan came out, the receptionist told him I was there to change my prescription; she said nothing of the more pressing issue as to why I was there waiting. He didn’t acknowledge me at all the whole time I was sitting there, and then he called his next client in. I stood up to say something, and the receptionist said she had my script all printed and I was good to go. I stopped Dr. Doan before he shut his door and asked if I could, at the very least, get a sample pair of my new script since it was obvious from the way they were treating me I was more of a nuisance and it wouldn’t matter to ask again for him to help me with my eye. He seemed put out, went into his office, and brought out two mismatched pairs of contacts for me. I looked at them and then at him, and he said even though they weren’t the same brand or my brand that I asked for, they should work just fine. Then he shut his door to help his next appointment. What the hell? So I got back into my car and spent the next 20 minutes working on my eye myself and pulling out the piece of torn contact. I then compared my new prescription with the sample contacts he gave me, and not only is one of them not the brand I need, it’s not the right size for my eyes either. Useless. I will not be back.
