Papa John’s used to be my go-to pizza place when I didn’t feel like cooking. Their garlic butter, tomato sauce, and toppings where always SO delicious that it was worth paying a little extra. Last night, I ordered a large pizza from the PJs on Alice street, and when I went to pick it up I took a deep breath, expecting that gourmet papa john’s aroma, and instead I got a nose full of cheap, gross pizza smell. The toppings were nothing like the quality I have come to expect from PJs, the chicken had no taste, and its texture was reminiscent of a soggy popsicle stick. The pizza was a huge disappointment, and I am not ever going to order from here again. I am awarding them a single star because the garlic sauce was as good as ever, but I recommend buying just the sauce and getting a proper pizza from another pizza place(or the grocery store).

I’m not that big a fan of pizza these days, but when my roommate is lazy, he usually orders Papa John’s, and I always eat some. They always have good coupon deals, and dipping their pizza into their garlic sauce makes me pee my pants.

Blows away Pizza Hut and I do like their crust. No one seemed to offer the garlic-butter on the side till they came along. That should be worth a star by itself. I always order carry-out. I do not like their prices.

The prices are always good if you have the coupons and their garlic sauce once made me donate $ 2000 dollars to charity because I was so happy.
