This place is awesome! Great food and you get a lot for a small price. I got a burrito, and it was about as big as my foot. Small place off the beaten path. Nice people too.

This is Denton’s best kept secret!
The food is excellent & authentic, large portions, with amazing home made flan (saw them putting it in the oven myself while I waited to pay for my meal). The quality is always consistent and they even have a vegetarian dish (poblanos con queso).
But what sets dinosaur apart from the competition is its warm, friendly atmosphere.
I felt like an honored guest, eating in a good friend’s home rather than a restaurant. They put their heart and soul into their food and service.
I’m ALWAYS happier after having a meal there, regardless of how rough my day was. :-)
I strongly recommend a visit… And the flan!

Stopped in around 745 this evening to try it out. Sure glad I did! It’s just down the street for me, so it’s nice to know that I don’t have to drive but a couple minutes for my taco fix.
I tried 4 different tacos with crispy shells, although you can get crunchy or soft: ground beef, grilled chicken chipotle, barbacoa, and pork (can’t remember the exact name). Also got a side of rice. They were delicious! My favorite would have to be the chipotle chicken and pork. They have 3 salsas you can put in a container and take with you, I did the hot green salsa. Yummy! I sure wouldn’t mind having them a few nights a week!
As good as the tacos were, the service was awesome. They’re so nice. They even offered me to taste any of the meats before ordering :)
