My husband and I stayed Scargo Manor Bed and Breakfast this summer. It was an absolutely beautiful place that I would recommend to anyone! We had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before so we weren’t sure what to expect. The atmosphere was calming and the accomodations were great! Also, there are so many things to do in the area like boat tours and museums. What a great getaway

The lake experience at Scargo Manor is nothing short of spectacular. I went with my fiancé to celebrate our engagement. The staff was over the top accommodating and even gave us a celebratory bottle of champagne. It truly is a home away from home. Thanks for a great weekend!

I truely beleive some of the best surprises in life are those last minute ones. having said that this review is based on that idea, I found Scargo Manor online right before midnight on a Tuesday and we were there by 3pm on Wednesday. The photos are nice but in person the Manor and the property are so much more, The best feature about Scargo Manor in our opinion is Ann, she is one half of the dynamic duo that run the Manor, her husband Roy is a great guy and the other half of the dynamic duo, what awesome couple for us to meet they are fantastic. Ann is so wonderful, she is one of the warmest most friendly people we have ever met, she answered any question about the manor, its history as well as all area info, suggestions on restaurants, and she is a wonderful cook we had teriffic breakfasts in the mornings. The Manor is a beautifuly kept older home with wonderful workwork thru out the home and the property is just lovely and having direct access to Scargo lake. We stayed for 3 nights and were saddned when it came time to go home we really had a wonderful relaxing getaway but we left feeling we had really made some new friends, and are looking forward to going back.

Scargo Manor is a real Cape Gem. My husband and I have stayed their twice now, and both times we were really impressed. Scargo is really the best of two worlds: the inn abuts the beautiful Scargo Lake, where you can swim, kayak, canoe or just sit on the dock and enjoy the peaceful view. If you’re more interested in the beach scene, Corporation Beach is just a 10 minute walk down a quiet side street. The location in Dennis couldn’t be more central: Scargo Café, Fin Restaurant, The Wine Gallery, Cape Cod Museum of Art & Playhouse are all within walking distance, so no need to stress about having that extra drink at dinner and driving back! For all the bike-lovers, the Cape Cod Rail Trail is only a couple of miles away(with parking) and Pat and Bill were happy to store our bikes for us in the garage. Pat and Bil, by the way, are super friendly and incredibly accommodating. They really took the time to get to know us, give us some great recommendations and make sure we were having a great stay. So ditch the overpriced oceanfront motels and wannabe B&Bs and book the most relaxing vacation you’ll find on the Cape!

We had the pleasure of staying at the Scargo this past weekend and it was lovely. We stay on Cape Cod every summer and usually stay with my in laws, however that wasn’t possible this past weekend so we stayed here. People ask me all the time where they should stay while at Cape Cod and I always want to recommend something on the historic 6A route but had no first hand experience– now I do! The grounds are amazing– access to a gorgeous lake and the canoe and kayaks are provided. No need to bring beach towels either– everything you need is provided. Ample parking too. It is serene and well kept. We stayed in the Captain’s room which is pictured. The bed was huge and comfortable, a lot of privacy away from our two kids(who slept in the adjoining room), tons of storage space for your luggage and belongings, a fridge, iron and board, huge master bath attached to the suite and great water pressure too(I might add). TVs in both our and the kids’ room. So comfortable and relaxing. The breakfast is served between 8:30 — 9:30 and it is huge– fresh fruit, scones, eggs, sausage. The proprietors are an amazing couple who want you to be happy and satisfied. It was their kindness and warmth that made the visit above average. The B&B has soul and you feel like you’re staying at home– it is that comfortable.

The Scargo Manor B&B is a very cute establishment with really nice inn keepers that have only been inn keeping at Scargo for a few months. Bill and Pat are wonderful hosts. We arrived a little early and they welcomed us to the home. Showed us around. We were interested in the canoe and kayaking that they offered. We ended up taking a canoe around Scargo Lake. The weather was perfect! Anyways, highly recommend this B&B. I also recommend Scargo Café and the Cape Playhouse, both of which are right down the street, within walking distance.
