In town to for son’s baseball games in Baton Rouge and Hammond so decided Denham Springs, LA would be a great place to stay… after which I choose to do an express deals through priceless and this is the $ 53 rate I ended up with! I guess you get what you pay for.
1.The front desk lady was cool but she looked and acted unprofessional initially. I walked up to counter and had to clear my throat to get her attention. Once I had it, she processed to tell me how she was working a double because the night shift gal wasn’t coming in… She looked tired which I would too after 12 hrs BUT with a smile. If you are in the front you are the face of the business, hotel or whatever other type of business. Smile through the pain
2. BIG BIG PROBLEM: Mold
Mold on bathroom wall and in A/​C vent!!! Yuck! My son found it… I told him, «I don’t even want to know…» After a few hours of being totally uncomfortable from the stagnated hot @$$ air, my husband place a sheet with holders over it and prayed about the rest.
3. The shower floor felt sticky… Vomiting in my mouth just thinking back to that moment. I remember thinking…” I wish I had shower shoes… Am I back in college… What the h3/​/​. «YES, this is after spraying it down with a gallon of Clorox cleanup!!!
I did not go to Anytime fitness the next morning because I didn’t want to risk taking another shower.
