We’ve had lunch here a few times and it’s been consistently good. Last week, I had the Mushroom Charburger with onion rings and my partner had the Double Charburger with fries. Both meals were hot and freshly made — neither tasted like they’ve been sitting under the heat lamp for a few hours. Another plus — the burgers were char-grilled so neither one had a greasy taste or texture that other places serve. The prices are reasonable and the staff has been friendly and helpful each time. In my opinion, If you’re looking for fast food in a clean, attractive restaurant, this is the place to go.

Honestly this might be one of the worst burgers I’ve ever had my life. The burger is very small and extremely dry and by dry I mean it is cooked well done with no juice at all so it is a very dry flavorless burger. Also the fries are not that great some of them are hot and good and some of them are very dry and like cardboard. The place looks promising but really under delivers with food quality

The burger was good, nice and flame broiled but the fries not so much. The fries were just plain and didnt have much taste– definitely frozen. The friend green beans sounded interesting so we ordered those but they were odd, not very flavorful and definitely needed some seasoning. We also got the kale salad which was inedible and drowned in dressing.

COCKROACHES. COCKROACHES. COCKROACHES. It’s been several months since I last visited this restaurant and I probably should have stayed away for good. I took my daughter today for a nice meal, not only was the manager COLDANDNOTVERYRECEIVING, but while we’re sitting enjoying our meal a cockroach decided to join us. My daughter terrified of bugs jumped out her seat and ran, I got up and got a manager name Kayla. Mrs. Kayla came over and saw the cockroach and stumped it to death. BUTWAITSHEWASN’T DONE. Mrs. Kayla took her sneakers with the cockroach underneath it and proceeded to whip it on The Habits nice upholstered chair — the exact spot where I was sitting. She couldn’t get a napkin, or rub it on the floor — nope on the chair it had to be. WTF. SHEPROCEEDEDTOEXPLAIN, «yeah we’ve had a cockroach problem but the exterminator came in and the problem is resolved.» It’s what Kayla? We almost ate a cockroach. WHOKNOWSWHATS’S INTHEIRFOOD? I know… I know… COCKROACHES. After seeing the cockroach«stain» on the chair and then throwing up in my mouth — we left and will NEVERBEBACK. YOUWOULDTHINK Mrs. Kayla would offer my little girl a free milk shake, or something. Nope she took her cockroach staying sneakers and walked away like it was a normal this to have cockroaches eat with customer. Again WTF.

Such a simple, affordable place with somewhat of a unique charcoal taste… in a good way. Good fries, pepper bar and definately worth a taste.

I’ve always had a very constant experience here. The burgers are pretty good especially when you consider the price. I do wish they offered a little more toppings but overall not bad.

The chicken sandwich was excellent. Tasty chicken and condiments on a good roll. Service was fine. Will be back.

If Five Guys was Star Trek, then The Habit is Star Trek: The Next Generation. The meat is better by far than FG, or even the venerated In and Out Burger. Juicy, but not greasy. My only minor complaint is American cheese rather than cheddar, but they’re looking for that melty thing quickly, and American melts at the slightest hint of heat. The Habit also has quality salad and other offerings. Excellent place and good service!

Not the greatest dining experience. The meat used for the burgers is poor quality, no choice of cheese(only American). Toasted bun is a plus Fresh tomato Iceberg lettuce

Searching for the the best veggie burger in town, I decided to give the The habit a chance. With not much luck the veggie burger was not good. The burger was huge and with thick cucumber slices, it was blah! The sweet potato fries were good, that’s about it. Maybe the regular burgers are much better, unfortunately not looking for those.

The three stars are for the burgers because they are delicious! However the fries and onion rings leave much to be desired unless you love frozen food. The place itself is hip and clean. Staff is friendly and the condiments are plentiful. Nothing really makes you want to make a trip to return unless your shopping in the plaza and get hungry.

As we drove along Federal Highway in Delray Beach, FL looking for our next burger adventure we ran in into The Habit Burger Grill. This new burger joint is located in front of the new Trader Joe’s that opened in Delray. As we had never experienced a Habit burger, we thought that we would give it a bite. As we entered the restaurant, we were quickly greeted by some really friendly employees. It was a warm inviting atmosphere as soon as you come inside. We ordered a burger special which included french fries and a drink. The condiments included lettuce, tomato, mayo and the wonderful carmalized onion on a toasted bun. After one bite, we were hooked. The warm, juicy perfectly cooked burger was amazing. If I lived under the ocean, this burger would be my perfect crabby patty. Did I mention the freshly toasted bun? It was so fresh and so tasty. If you are ever in the Delray area and in need of a burger fix, then give Habit a shot. One juicy bite, and Habit may become your newest habit.

New burger joint in Delray! Located at the same mall as Trader Joe’s this new place had me inching to stop by for a few weeks and today I finally did it. Their menu has not only burgers, but also sandwiches, salads, and desserts. They don’t serve alcohol so hot stick to light refreshments. Their menu is simple and it doesn’t take you long to choose, which I like. As you come in you choose what you want, place the order with the cashier, pay and wait for your buzz to ring. All the attendants were very helpful and high energy. They have an open kitchen concept and you can see the cooks preparing your burger right in front of you! I love that. Their inside area has booths, high top tables for you to choose from, and they also have a nice outdoor area of you feel like breathing fresh air. I did not have to wait much for my order and I chose to seat outside as the day was gorgeous. I chose to eat the Teriyaki burger with grilled pineapple. Yummy! Super juicy although I had ordered mine well done. The bun was soft and it had a nice size. As a side I tried their onion rings, their seasoning was good, but to me they were a little over cooked, as I prefer mine more soft. Their fries looked delicious as well as their desserts. I will definitely come back now to try their sandwiches! They looked delish too! It’s the perfect stop for a quick bite with a nice atmosphere!

I can’t say enough great things about this new spot! I have been twice now and tried most of the menu. The burgers have great flavor, salads super fresh, love the shakes as well. You can order online, pick-up or dine-in. They are in a really great location with plenty of parking as well. The staff is very nice and friendly and energetic, the open kitchen is fun and they are fast paced. Everything is made to order and fresh and I love the vibe of this place.

First locational FL! It’s in the Trader Joe’s shopping plaza in Delray next to Pei Wei. I’ve eaten here for lunch several times and the food quality and service has always been on point. Most of the time I order the teriyaki char which has the grilled pineapple slice in it. It’s freaking delicious! I usually add some jalapeños from the pickle bar. The pickle bar has banana peppers, jalapeños, and pepperoncinis. They also a wide variety of condiments including tabasco, malt vinegar and ketchup. You order the burgers and sides separately. You can have sweet potato fries, regular fries, tempura green beans or a side salad. All very good. I tried the BBQ bacon burger the last time and that was also very good.

Really great place to get a delicious burger! Located in the new Delray Marketplace that opened up, I’ve been here twice. The open kitchen is a plus. The staff was very helpful as I wasn’t sure what I was looking at the first time. They ask plenty of questions and make sure your order is right. An average person can probably ring up to a $ 8. A buzzer is handed to you and once your order is ready, you pick it up. The first time I ordered the Charburger with cheese meal, I was extremely satisfied. Compared to Shake Shack, this is cheaper and less greasy. The Charburger is topped with mayo, pickles, tomato, lettuce and caramelized onions. The second time I had the Charburger, it was greasier than the first but still delicious. The tri-tip steak burger is a step up from your traditional burger. The tender steak can make your burger messy with each bite — but I can see why it’s a favorite. I thought the fries were going to be salty as I can see the amount of salt they added to the fries, but it wasn’t overly salted. I would also recommend trying the friend tempura green beans! They were interesting and tasty. Somewhat healthier than fries right?

The ONLY location in Florida, The Habit Burger Grill is my favorite fast food burger in the state! Bringing Californian charburgers to the east coast, Habit burgers are tasty and filling, without breaking your wallet. The basic charburger is a 100% fresh ground beef patty topped with mayonnaise, pickle, fresh tomato, lettuce and caramelized onions on a toasted bun, but you can customize to your tastes. You can also get double patties or additional toppings, such as sauteed mushrooms, avocado, or grilled pineapple, depending on what style you choose. I had the Santa Barbara Style charburger, which is a double char with cheese, topped with avocado, and the usual fixings. It was savory and buttery, and oh so delicious! It’s an extra tall burger with lots of layers, and they do not skimp on the avocado. Their sandwich menu caters to many more tastes, offering other proteins such as chicken, pastrami, and fish, as well as a vegetarian burger. I ordered the Tri-Tip Steak, which is marinated tri-tip steak with caramelized onions and BBQ sauce. The steak just melts in your mouth when you bite into it. A definite MUST-TRY if you want to venture beyond the charburger. Habit Grill offers Idaho potato fries, sweet potato fries, and onion rings for sides. But you HAVE to get the tempura green beans. Fresh green beans are lightly battered and fried, it is a creative and tasty alternative to the usual crunchy burger sides. All items are fresh and made to order. You can see the open flame grill in the back, and the restaurant is kept very clean. I also commend the friendly staff. I was waiting for my friends to arrive at the restaurant, and the cashier offered me a water cup while I was waiting. They are fast to complete orders and fast to clean tables. It is not a full-service restaurant, but employees walk around tending to tables, asking if you need refills or offering to bring you items so you don’t have to get up. I’ve been twice so far, and I will go many more times. I hope that they franchise more locations in south Florida, but whenever I’m in the Delray area, I definitely try to stop at Habit Grill.

Been watching their move-in and waiting for them to open, and we finally made it in today to see what all the hullabaloo is about The Habit. The service was really friendly from the moment we arrived to the moment we ordered, the moment our order was ready, and as we ate. It did take awhile for our food to arrive, but I chalk that up to their made-to-order format. Tables were cleaned and staff were walking around visiting tables to check in on how people were liking their food. There were even a couple of «all hands on deck» rally cries behind the counter to get the employees fired up! This was pretty cool, and I could see that it resulted in a lot of smiles. I really hope they can keep up this level of service. As for the food, I really enjoyed my Veggie Burger. It was loaded! The standard menu item does not come with cheese, but to add a choice of Swiss or American is another .55. On top of that I added guacamole for another $ 1.25. The burger itself came with cucumbers, onions(but I said NO to them), lettuce, tomato, and a mustard sauce. The burger was a Morningstar burger, and while it tasted good, it was the typical Morningstar burger I purchase on my own at the grocery store. This was a bit of a disappointment, but what made the concoction better were all of the add-ons and the bun. The good thing is that it’s been almost 3 hours since I ate my Veggie Burger, and I’ve felt no side effects. This must mean they understand the concept of cross-contamination, and must have separated my burger from the meat items. The sweet potato fries were ok, but my husband really enjoyed his Tuna Burger. He said it was flavorful and filling. His chocolate shake was delicious. All in all, we spent over $ 21 for this lunch, which is way more than I’d ever spend at a typical place like this(though I admit I rarely eat at these types of spots). I won’t go out of my way to come to The Habit since burger joints really aren’t my regular cup of tea, but I will likely stop in again sometime before another shopping trip to Trader Joe’s.

Went yesterday for the first time and was pleasantly satisfied. My girlfriend was in from of me and she ordered a veggie burger. I asked what was in the the VB and they said it was a morning star. I’m not about to pay $ 7 for a frozen morning star so I decided to get a cheese charbruger, fries and a shake. My charbruger came with sautéed onions, I added american cheese. the burger was juicy yet not greasy! Fries were crisp and yummy. The shake was thick and sweet! This place will give the Chic-fil-a a run for their money! If you want to try this place out but don’t like crowds then give it a month to cool down. The line was almost out the door and seating was only available outside. I will be back!
