Good store. They honor the public promise. Long lines at customer service due to western union and lottery but otherwise happy staff and good experience. I just purchased their sushi as the fish department smelled like fresh fish. I do wish cold foods that spoil would be sold closer to front of the store but it never is.

I live in Ft Lauderdale so I’ve never been to this Publix. On my way up 95 I stopped in to get a cooler and ice for my 25 pack of water. I’ve never been offered help to load my car at my home store, and I was offered twice at this location all with smiles! First of all, the cashier was so nice and smiley that it was refreshing. Then the lady who bagged the groceries asked if I needed help loading my car, and surprised, I said«no that’s okay thank you.» then as I was loading the coolers with ice and water, Jesse in the parking lot came up and said«I can help with you that» and started helping me out. He even took the plastic bags from the ice and put them in the trash for me. Too bad I live too far from this location to make it my home store, but the 5 – 10 minutes I shopped in there blew me away.

Under renovations but no explanation. I guess they are freaking out like all the chains because Trader Joe is coming to town. sidebar: Reminds me of the Santa Claus song but I digress. This is my neighborhood Publix. I come here often to pick up just a few items since I live close by. I like the new policy of everyone saying hi to me although in the beginning it was a little off putting to say the least. I can’t say that they have the best selection of anything but they are Publix. I am not a big fan of their competitor. What continues to bring me to this Publix is the convenience and knowing the layout of the place. They better get their renovations in order though because the place is looking kinda dumpy. I wish they would put laminate flooring down. It would look awesome. I know its not practical but hey, its my dream. They need to work on their produce section too. Green lemons? Seriously? There is a Redbox there too so I can get my movies on the run. I don’t use the ATM outside anymore. I get my extra cash from the cashiers.

Like all of the Publix stores I have shopped at, this Publix, which is tucked in The Plaza at Delray along side a Staples, Books A Million, Marshall’s, and various restaurants, definitely does not disappoint. We stopped here as it was conveniently located on the way to where we were staying coming from Palm Beach International Airport. While this Publix is not as big as some other Publix stores, it is an average sized Publix, but is certainly far above average as supermarket shopping goes. Upon first walking into this Publix, we were cheerfully greeted by someone who appeared to be a manager, which was an excellent touch demonstrating Publix’s signature customer service. In addition, we found this Publix to be immaculate and pleasant to shop in, with soothing sea green hues covering the floor. We stopped in to get food and other items for the apartment, such as some of the best red grapes we have had in a long time, as they were fresh, sweet, firm, plump, and slightly sour. We also bought sweet and tart strawberries, plump blueberries, fresh and crisp Publix brand salad bags, incredibly fresh and sweet Peaches from Georgia, Boar’s Head Vermont Yellow Cheddar, a juicy and filling BBQ Chicken, a case of Diet Pepsi, a case of Diet Cherry Pepsi, a case of Diet Sierra Mist, Publix Orange Juice, 2 bags of Lays Potato Chips, jugs of water, and Publix Chocolate Trinity Ice Cream. The organic selection is also pretty good as well! While I know that many people say that Publix is overpriced, I feel that they are reasonably priced for the most part(the prices are comparable and sometimes better than Northeastern supermarket chains) and sometimes even cheap. For example, the produce, like the grapes, were $ 1.99/lb, which is fifty cents less than Stop ‘N Shop(one of our home supermarkets). Peaches were equal to supermarkets in the Northeast at $ 1.99/lb, but they were a better value due to the excellent quality. Fresh Express Shreds Shredded Lettuce was available for a reasonable $ 2.09/bag. The Buy One Get One Free Deals at Publix are also common and help save money as we were able to get a pound of Strawberries and a pint of Blueberries for $ 4.00, 48 cans of Pepsi products for $ 11(almost as good as Costco’s price on soda), and 2 bags of chips. Their store brand orange juice, which was one dollar less than national brands, was better than national brands like Tropicana and cheaper too(a win!) and their Chocolate Trinity Ice Cream was as delicious as national brands as well. In addition, everyone at Publix gets discounts as you don’t need to carry a store card, like at Winn-Dixie or Northeastern supermarkets. When we were checking out, we received excellent service from Adrienne, who was pleasantly chatty and happy to help us, as she looked for coupons to help us save more money and bagged everything well. All in all, the hype that Publix receives is definitely deserved and I am always happy to shop there whenever I am in one of the markets that they serve.

I love sample days! They always have someone cooking something yummy. I wish i knew their schedule so i stalk the store and grub some samples! Yesterday they had chicken enchiladas which my son loved. We’ve had the chicken fried rice, greenbeans drenched in butter and bacon, bbq pork, etc. I can always smell the food cooking and it lures me to the back of the store by the deli where someone is always cooking something good. They have the recipe cards out for people to take so they can try to make it at home. As far as the store goes, this place is a decent Publix where you can find most items you’re looking for. I used to walk in just to get the mustache out of the quarter machines but they got rid of that and now they have little Domo figurines.
