You get what you pay for. The mid night deals are good, but not worthy. The usd 2 tacos are way too greasy. Best option is the guac with nachos.

Tried this place for my first time today. When my friends and I got there for happy hour, we had to wait 30 minutes for a table because they were busy. The wait was SO worth it! $ 5 margaritas, $ 2 beers, $ 2 tacos! You can’t go wrong with that. All of their food was delicious, as well as their chips with guac and salsa. Salsa is different than I usually have but SO good! Our server was very sweet and always came around to see if we needed anything. I recommend this place 100% to anyone and I will most definitely be coming back!

I like this place a lot! Been here once and ordered delivery once! The blood orange margarita is yummy and so are the steak fajitas! The inside is very hip and trendy, and I like how the bar is lined with hundreds of different bottles of tequila. Very cool!

El Camino IS as good as it gets. Step one. I love their margaritas. And happy hour margaritas? Even better. Same delicious margs for less money. Done and done. Step two. I love their tacos. They have good flavor, and corn tortillas(a plus for those like me who can’t eat gluten), and I love them. Step three.(Which should be two). I love their guac. Possibly other people have better guacamole. I don’t know. But I love it. It’s really difficult to find a table, make sure you make a reservation, and if you don’t get to the 4p happy hour by noon, you’ll never get a spot. But worth it. Taco Tuesday? Superb.

Really good Mexican. Had a brisket burrito which was sensational, robust flavors, well cooked and flavorful. Missus had kale salad with beans and monday tequila. I had Iguinitas IPA. Didn’t appreciate $ 3 chip charge or mild confusion on happy hour(tip: sit at bar only for HH specials) Second tip: tacos Tuesday lines usually over an hour so try either lunch or prepare for long waits)

Great Mexican food. I had the Watermelon & Jalapeño Margarita which was spicy & good. For appetizers we ordered the chicharrones which were out of this world yummy & the nachos which were tasty but way too much meat for my liking. For my entrée I ordered the combo tacos; the shrimp were my favorite. For dessert we ordered the Nutella Flan, donut holes with chocolate sauce &3 Leches; they were all good but the winner was 3 Leches, delicious. Our waiter was super nice. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because the restaurant was too loud for my liking and the tables seemed a bit cramped. Overall a good restaurant.

My man… If you’ve never been here. just… bruh. I don’t understand how Mexican food can taste so good. Like you have no idea, the food is so good I make reservations for the week ahead. I swear on my tiny dogs life this food is that good. If the food isn’t as good as I say it is you can come over and take a slice of Genoa Salami from my fridge(just let me know if your coming over cause I don’t stock it often.) The hot sauce they give you on the table alone is worth +8 dank points. This place has an average wait time of like an hour and a half but dont wait that long, just make a reservation you silly goose! Zoltan Out! Stay Dank.

El Camino is the place to be on Taco Tuesday and for late night happy hour. There is a variety of tacos to choose from as well as other typical Mexican dishes. The steak fajitas are delicious, as well as the corn appetizer. The margaritas to choose from range from sweet to spicy and can change sometimes depending on the season. Tuesday they have $ 2 tacos and Monday $ 3 margaritas! I prefer to go during lunch or for a early dinner because at night it is busy and sometimes you have to wait and hour for a table.

We were walking the Atlantic strip in Delray scoping out a good place for lunch and El Camino called my name. The open environment was very inviting and lots of folks were at the bar midday on Friday. There are nice booth seats and patio seat options in addition to the bar. They have a nice margarita section with everything from classic to strawberry basil, watermelon jalapeño, and pineapple coconut(we tried all three). The drinks had great flavor and were not watered down. We ordered ceviche, the kale salad, and an assortment of tacos(fried mahi, grilled mahi, and shrimp). All of the food was excellent. The ceviche was incredibly fresh and had chunks of avocado and grapefruit throughout. I loved the tacos and the croutons on the kale salad are what dreams are made of. The real magic happens during happy hour(4pm-7pm) when seedy margaritas are about half price and they have discounts on appetizers($ 4 guacamole and $ 1 chips/salsa) and an assortment of $ 2 tacos. Great deals. Service was standard, but we always had water available and our drinks were refilled often. Food service was fast and efficient. All and all, 5 stars for great atmosphere, good food flavor, and great happy hour selections. Very happy we stopped in.

El Camino? More like El Cielo(heaven)! This was the most perfect, tasty, and refreshing afternoon lunch I could have imagined upon my arrival for a(super) quick weekend visit to Delray Beach. Also, loved the Pineapple Grove arch over the street just outside the restaurant. Great atmosphere, open windows/walls, and natural light. I started with the spicy avocado margarita which I am still daydreaming about 6 days later. The avocado added a slight creaminess rather than a 100% watery makeup, and the jalapeño spiciness was a great appetizer for my main course; delicious spice around the rim, too! The barbacoa tacos were larger than life(talk about ‘bang for your buck’!), the perfect amount of spicy, over-the-top flavorful in all the right ways(YUM, chipotles), and although I’d intended to get a starter or end with dessert, I was just too full! I am praying I’ll be back soon!
If you’re EVER remotely close to El Camino do yourself a favor & drop by. Drinks & food are banging! We arrived during Happy Hour 4−7pm which is by far the happiest of hours. $ 2 tacos & $ 5 cocktails along with an array of other options! This place is PACKED to the brim during Happy Hour, we waited an hour to get a table but hung out at the bar ordering drinks & chips. My only regret was not being born with a bigger stomach. After 3 drinks, 1 Brisket Quesadilla &2 tacos, I had to tap out which is always a low point when your body decides you’ve had enough. Drink review: Pineapple-Coconut Margarita: sweet & refreshing with a kick of tequila. Tequila Old Fashion: strong smokey aroma with cocoa & cinnamon bitters that add a new dimension of flavor to the drink. Blood Orange Margarita: sweet but balanced with a very tart taste. Food review: Chips & Guac: $ 1 for chips, $ 4 for guac… Delicious & fresh guacamole with perfectly salted tortilla chips. Carnitas Tacos: the holy grail of tacos, pulled pork cooked & seasoned to perfection, not too spicy but spicy enough to leave your lips tingling. Top 3 favorite tacos of all time! Brisket Quesadilla: simple but flavorful brisket served atop a toasty tortilla with cheese.

I like the location — NE2nd and Atlantic. Great place to people watch. The Happy Hour is solid — but keep in mind, I believe you can only do it at the bar, which is always packed(Good sign that it’s rock solid). The food is decent. But it’s tough for me to really give a great review on anything that’s southwestern since there’s so many in the area. Being in Delray, despite the Happy Hour specials and the food being good, I just can’t say it feels as authentic, more fusion. For me, a good southwestern joint has to have the feel that it’s a place that stands out against the dives, hole-in-the-walls, and unknown treasures you can find in PBC, let alone Broward. Given that I’ve been to a few, it’s hard for me to step out of the box and give it a higher review. Don’t get me wrong, the décor is cool — having a type of motor garage vibe meets cantina that fits right into the whole hip vibe of Downtown Delray. The crowds are great, the energy great, the service is solid whenever I have gone there. It’s a southwestern joint in an area full of them. Simply put, I’ve had better. But it’s one opinion, so if you think it’s better — all the power to you and make sure the bacon sizzles.

I was in town for business and stopped by. El Camino was we some. I love Mexican food a they did not disappoint. I had the tacos(Carnitas and Carne Asada) with Black Beans and rice. I enjoyed the Carnitas the most. I’m also enjoyed the margaritas and those were good as well. If I lived in Delray I would be a regular. In addition to the food, the atmosphere is very cool. Would repeat often.

I’ve been to this place a couple of times and it’s always jam-packed. The décor is fabulous and the food is pretty solid. Think upscale Mexican. The drinks, while pricey are usually on point, although a coworker had ordered a drink that looked appetizing on the menu but once she had it, it was probably one of the most disgusting mixed drinks I’ve ever tasted(we all tried it when she insisted it was truly awful). Again, place is trendy and cool but be ready for a wait and be ready for it to be quite loud. Will likely return. Not a better place that serves Mexican(from what I’ve seen thus far) in Delray.

This is a tough place to get into on Taco Tuesday, so this time made a reservation(that is the way to go). Even though we had a reservation, we still had to wait about 20 minutes to get a table. The place was packed and the hostesses seemed a little harried so not as friendly as we would have liked. The hostess did apologize to us about the wait once we were seated. We had a seat close to the outside area and people waiting to get in were chain smoking and the smoke was coming inside the restaurant. We talked to management about this and will wait and see if they do something about it. Our server, Dave, was very friendly and efficient. We went ahead and ordered beer, salsa and chips and three tacos each. The crispy fish, pork belly, carnitas and the chorizo tacos were very tasty. Looking forward to going back and trying the other tacos on the menu. Well worth the money and if they can take care of the smoking outside, it will be a plus! They do have WiFi but you have to ask for the password.

Who would of known Delray Beach was such a cute community and smack in the middle of it is El Camino. Hands down the best Mexican restaurant in South Florida! To start your servers opening line is everything here is made fresh, in house, even the cocktails(cue the chorus of angels… music to my ears). Margarita menu, yes please! We tried the avocado margarita, watermelon margarita, blood orange and the 50⁄50. Each were delicious and none of them the same. The avocado was slightly spicy, the watermelon was refreshing and a little sweet, the blood orange was a tad stronger but the salted rim was a weird smokey flavor. I licked the glass clean and I’m not ashamed! Last but not least was the 50⁄50 which was subtler than the other flavors but a had smooth smokey aftertaste. Again delicious! Can you tell I loved them?! Thankfully this wasn’t just a liquid lunch. Now onto the big boy items. Guac is a given, after all when in Mexico. Then the taco sampler platter! So many choices, how many tacos? My recommendations are the barbacoa, carne asada, pork belly and crispy fish(yes it only comes with 3 but it’s worth the extra $ 4). And as if that wasn’t enough, I asked for the dessert menu! Shocker I know this never happens but that’s how fingerpicking good everything was! Dessert worthy! And YES it was worth it! Nutella flan! It’s amazing!
