Cloud 10 Blow Dry Bar & Hair Salon

Laura is truly a color queen she has changed my life time and time and time again!!! I cannot recommend her Magic-​working hands more highly!!! Thank you for always making my soul explode with Joy!!!

Hands down best salon in town. From the service, to the massaging shampoo chairs, scented towels, and personalized shampoo, to the stylists that ask you exactly what you want (no crazy surprises) — it is nearly impossible to leave without a smile. It truly is a little piece of heaven on earth.

I am really picky about who touches my hair and once I found Krissy at the Delray location I was ecstatic! She is such a sweetheart and an awesome stylist. She has been cutting my hair for about 3 years now and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I also have gotten my make up done by several of the make up artists here and they are all awesome.

I went on Unilocal to help me find someone good for extensions. I came across cloud 10 salon and made a consultation appointment with Jackie. I had in great links extensions in my hair that were done by «a friend» and needless to say my hair was beyond awful. During the consultation, Jackie warned me that my hair was not going to be the same as it was pre-​extensions once those extensions were removed. She also assured me she would fix my hair with their extensions that wouldn’t damage my hair the way the great links did. Because I loved her right away, I set up an appointment with her. The work would require two 3 hour consecutive day appointments. I went in there yesterday to remove the great links and soon learned my hair had matted EVERYWHERE. It was awful. It took about 2 hours to remove the dread locks that had formed. I lost a TON of hair in the process and held back every tear I had in me. Jackie took her time to carefully brush out the matted hair and I thank her so much for that because anyone else would have given up and resorted to scissors. She saved as much hair as she could. Today I went in, still sad about the amount of hair i had lost, and Jackie put in the extensions they use at cloud 10. OMG! I think I hugged her 5x because I was so happy !! She revived me and my hair looks amazing. I seriously cannot thank her enough! She is AMAZING!!! and to find a salon in delray with that many girls that were SO NICE and so caring and helpful, is so rare !! I hope this review helps someone out there because I know Unilocal helped me! Thank you Jackie, cloud 10 and all the ladies involved with my journey! I couldn’t be more grateful !!

Not impressed at all!
I came here with a girlfriend just to see how other blow dry bars treat their customers (Me and my girlfriend are both in the hair service industry).
Initially we decided before walking in that we wouldn’t say anything not to put pressure on the stylist because it can be more difficult to service a client that for sure knows what you are doing and why.
I walked in and immediately loved the salon décor and got greeted by a lovely girl that offered me a beverage. Great. Only that I had to ask for it again once I sat in the chair. Granted I’m here for the blow dry not the prosecco but still!
The stylist seemed really nice when she introduced herself and asked me the usual questions…

What do you do?
As I mentioned I didn’t want to tell them I was a hair stylist but I couldn’t think of another occupation fast enough so I told her I was a hair stylist from NYC.
The shampoo she gave me was great and the shampoo chairs were something I’ve never experienced before.
Now it’s time for my blowout. I asked for a beach wave. Ok my hair is straight and some people like to take the easy way out and use an iron to create the wave and this is exactly what she did. I had zero volume and curls.
I had requested her to do it with a brush and her response was…
«do you want to do it yourself?! I do a lot of beach waves considering I live in a beach county»
Well in that case you should’ve been able to do it with a brush like I wanted!
She also continued to tell me (a New Yorker) how she HATES New Yorkers!
Newsflash darlin Delray Beach is filled with New Yorkers.
Even though I wasn’t happy with my hair and the weird service I still tipped her $ 20.00.
I told her I was a hairstylist. I did fail to tell her I own one of the top blow dry bars in Manhattan. Her customer service level is so poor and her skill is not the best. Anyone can air dry and curl… Nobody cares about a $ 700 blowdryer. It’s the stylist behind it.
Would never return. I did a better job myself. The 2 stars are for décor and shampoo stations!

Love Cloud 10! Every stylist I have ever had has been exceptional. My personal favorite is Jodine. She cuts & styles my hair, and does an amazing job. I’m usually very hesitant to have my makeup done for events and weddings, but the makeup artists at Cloud 10 have never failed me. They know exactly what you want without you having to go into too much detail. Love, love, love Cloud 10!

Very nice and friendly staff. I have been here for several different services and have always left extremely pleased. I love coming here to have a little beauty time out! The hair wash station is amazing with the massage chairs. Such a treat!

Chrissy (sp?) from Cleveland! Wizard with a brush and dryer! That was Sunday — now it’s Wednesday night in NYC and it still looks good after a windy beach walk in Delray right after the rain and 3 nights on the pillow and half a day in an airplane.

Blowout review only! I’d give 5 stars if front check in staff was friendlier. I preferred this place when it first opened and was only a blow dry bar. The iPad’s worked for magazine reading and the beautiful white massage chairs for shampoo were unstained. That said, it for don’t mind paying Downtown Delray retail — $ 40, this place has great stylists, top products, awesome shampoo massage chairs, and you leave feeling luxurious.

Went for 1^st time and had an awesome blowout with Laura. Everyone in salon very nice, professional and accommodating. Jodi @ Front Desk also very helpful. Parking easy. Beverages choices are great and I’m looking forward to my next appointment.

I found Krissy after getting a blow out one day. She was so super sweet and easy to talk to. Now, I use her as my hairdresser and I’m so happy! Krissy is not only a great hairdresser, she’s an awesome person! I moved to south Broward and still drive an hour to come see her! The salon is so beautiful and everyone is so friendly. Krissy’s attention to detail far exceeds anyone I’ve ever been too! I highly recommend!!!

Besides Cloud 10 being one of the best beauty salons in downtown delray, the staff are all warm, friendly and accommodating. Kate does it all. Blow drys, styling, color, keratin and more. She is up on all the latest trends and she is so honest with what she thinks will work for you and won’t. Kate will always take an individual’s personality and some how match their hairstyle to make them look and feel the best they can. You always see the pleasure on her face when her clients walk out the door with a wide smile… which I always do. As the snowbirds come back to town I am booking a steady appointment with Kate because I know Kate’s concern for her clients are impeccable. Delray is lucky to have Kate and so am I.

Jacquie just did my hair & makeup for my engagement pictures and everything came out just as I had imagined! She was super friendly and really understood my «boho» vision. She came recommended to me by a few people and I’m so glad I followed their advice.
The salon is clean & modern with iPads at every station. Bonus that they’re open on Sunday’s. I could see how parking might be tough but there’s a garage that you can get a pass to park in. For both services today, I thought I would be spending more — and who couldn’t be happy about that? On Cloud 9 from Cloud 10!
**UPDATE** — The struggle! Customer service needs some polishing. I tried for a month to book Cloud 10 for my wedding — A MONTH. First I was told someone would call me back after booking my first trial appointment, never happened. When I actually went in for my appointment I asked about it and was given an email address to try that was wrong. So then I called back again — and was told that someone would call or email me. I emailed them again to the correct address and then FINALLY someone emailed me back. But of course, it was a generic email that included a contract and pricing that someone just hit «send» and didn’t add any personalization or answer my questions that I had — I hate that. And you really think I would just sign a contract with no communication or answers to who would be helping me on my wedding day? The whole situation just didn’t make me feel comfortable. To Cloud 10 this may be just another business transaction, but it’s my WEDDING and your subpar customer service won’t cut it so I’ll find someone else.

This place is great! I travel from Hollywood to go to the Delray location because my stylist Jacquie is very knowledgeable and always makes sure I leave happy and my hair is beautiful. They use the best color (Davines) and keratin (Natura its safe and organic!) products. I’ve never left disappointed! My suggestion is always try to get there a little early because you may need to leave time to find parking if there is an event going on in Delray.

These girls saved my wedding day! After going to a competitor for a consultation– they didn’t have an appointment for mr or even a makeup artist on staff the day of my wedding. So I called cloud10 which was down the street and told them my emergency. They said come over and we will get you taken care of… I was getting married in mere hours! When I got to cloud10 I met with Jessica. She told me everything would be okay, got me some champagne and whipped out a beautiful hairstyle fitting of a bride. The entire time she was calm, kind and gracious. Then over to makeup where Muzette completed my bridal look. Leaving cloud10 I really was on cloud10. They saved my special day and I couldn’t recommend them and Jessica enough. I got a million compliments on my hair and makeup. Thanks cloud10!

Cloud 10 really takes their service to another level.
Visited Cloud 10 a couple of weeks ago to get my hair and makeup done for a backyard wedding of my best friend. From the moment you are greeted at the door to the moment you leave this place is all class without being stuck up. It’s light, airy and just beautiful! Every detail is on point from the fresh flowers to beautiful décor, iPads, complimentary beverages… even their movie selections! Not to mention reclining massage shampoo chairs… Whaatttttt!!!
I was lucky enough to get appointments with two of the best. Jaquie did my hair just the way I explained and envisioned and I just let Jordan do her thing with my makeup. Felt like I was chatting with friends the entire time I was there and had just met them and the professionalism was still there. That’s not easy to pull off!
I am adding photos of my backyard wedding look. Natural face/​smokey eye look in neutral colors and I asked for a done but «undone» looking side fishtail braid… they nailed it! I got a zillion compliments that night and will 100% be returning. They took the stress of getting ready for a special friends event and allowed me relax and enjoy myself that day. Thank you ladies!

Jodene i would like to thank you as i know i came to you with the worst hair ever. My hair had no life and you gave it life again. I told you to run free and just make me look pretty again and that’s what you did. My hair has never felt so good and i will not go to anyone else ever again.

One word: Krissy! Now for the rest: Imagine a salon that gets everything right: price ($ 40 or so for a blowout), décor (serene, luxurious), service (sweet, accommodating), quality (EVERY stylist is good — that NEVER happens, especially for girls like me with thick ethnic hair; Kate, Joy, Jackie, Jodene, I can keep going on), attention to detail (scented towels, massage wash chairs), great hair products to buy (I’m now hooked on Davines bc of Krissy/​Cloud10 — they use the newest & best which is so rare in Florida). I really love this place and it’s so rare that businesses are so on point on so many levels. My hair is always in good hands with Krissy; she does an AMAZING cut/​color/​dry. What I love about her is that she is obsessed with getting every detail perfect. I feel like she «gets» me. They even do makeup here with Becca products & all the latest looks!

I couldn’t have had a better experience at Cloud 10. Jaq (Jacqualina, I hope I spelled that right!) absolutely made my experience what it was. As someone who had never had an updo or her makeup done professionally, I was a bit worried about my first time being the day of my wedding. Jaq put me totally at ease! She was super easy to talk to and I was amazed at how fast she worked!
Jacquie made me feel beautiful with her hair and makeup skills, and I’ll always be grateful for my experience! I’ll recommend her and Cloud 10 to anyone and everyone!
