I’m surprised this place doesn’t have any reviews yet. This made me a little skeptical, but I’m soo glad I decided to stop by. When you first walk in, you’re immediately greeted by all of the friendly staff. One lady in particular was especially welcoming and was constantly making sure everyone was well taken care of. There was definitely heavy foot traffic, many of which seemed to be regulars. You can help yourself to the buffet($ 7.99 for single take, $ 9.99 for unlimited) or order something from the menu. I was pressed for time so I got a Cuban sandwich and passion fruit juice to go. The Cuban comes with bacon, green peppers, onions, lettuce, and cheese. I’d estimate the size to be ~10″ of deliciousness. The meat had some tough parts, but was tender overall and filled the entire length of the bread. The cheese was perfectly melted so that when you take a bite you get a never-ending string of cheesy goodness. The lettuce wasn’t my fave because it wilts easily, but I guess it helps round out the sandwich. The fruit juices are made fresh so they’re not overly sweet. I liked that it was tart and blended with a little bit of ice — a nice pick-me-up. My only complaint is that the cups are compostable, which is good, but not if it starts composting while you’re drinking it. Guess I just need to drink them faster.(Edit: The pineapple juice is delicious if you want something a little sweeter and less tart. Looks like they have sturdier cups now too). Overall, this is a great place that’s worth seeking out and deserves more recognition.
