nicest people on the block. Great atmosphere and better service. The salsa is soo good they should package it and sell it! I havent had a waiter that was less than excellent. if youre looking for a great place to hang out in the Delafield area, look no further

My favorite place in downtown Delafield! Of all the restaurants located in Delafield, this is the place I most often visit! I love their chicken specialty entrees. So fresh and it tastes so good with just the perfect amount of spiciness! The salsa is also chunky and very fresh tasting. I always find myself eating way too many chips because of it. The service is always fast and the wait staff is always very friendly. My family always has to get their legendary margaritas when we’re there. All-​around Mazatlan is the perfect Mexican restaurant. One of the best in Lake Country!

Food is mediocre. Steak meat is tough. Sauces, salsa, are from cans. Not particularly authentic or good. Service is great, though. They’re always packed on weekends though so… maybe I’m missing something.

We’ve been to Mazatlan twice now and both times have been great. The wait staff is extremely friendly and attentive, the margaritas are big and strong, the portions are generous, the food is delicious, and the prices seem right. I had the veggie fajitas and my husband had El Combo, both were fantastic. The chips and salsa were fresh and the staff was on top of refilling them. We can’t wait to check out the patio this summer!

Alright !!! Hands down this is the best Mexican I have had yet. I wasn’t sure how the food would be when I walked in but the chips were like they just came out of the frier. It’s great for pets if you are a pet lover and want to sit with them in their patio area. Great atmosphere, great food and pet lovers. I’m sold !!!

This place is super cute inside ! The bar looks like it would be a real fun place if you don’t have work the next day ! The staff was extremely nice … Like the kind of nice that rubs off on you and makes you want to be nice to everyone you meet for the next week … Spread the nice :) The menu was huge and had lots of appetizer options which you don’t see at a lot of Mexican restaurants. I got the mixed fajitas that came with rice and beans. The salsa they give you to start off with is huge, and delicious. The food tasted really authentic and fresh. I recommend this place to anyone who loves Mexican food :)

Friendliest, most welcoming place for families with children. Plus the food is yummy! While the patio doesn’t have a lake view, they truly made a cozy little patio retreat in the heart of downtown. A favorite Delafield destination for sure!

We’ve been on the look out for a good mexican restaurant since moving here from the Chicago area. First off we went to the Mazatlan in Oconomowoc. So glad we tried this place. The atmosphere was fun, chips and salsa were very good. My husband ordered one of the combo meals and said it was really tasty and I had the Tostada’s which were good too. The service was quick and our server was attentive. We liked it and definitely will return.

I’m pretty sure that this is the right spot even though it’s in Oconomowoc not Delfield. Great place with both tex mex and innovative dishes, try the grilled veggie quesadilla ! Great service and good prices! Can’t lose here!

We have been back to Mazatlan 2 times since I left my review. I’m happy to report that they may have been having a bad day back in September of 2013. These last 2 visits have been much better than that terrible day. I truly believe that CONSISTENCY is of utmost importance, so I will be cautious.

Omg from the moment we were seated, the wait staff was very polite. The food was delicious and wasn’t so much that you couldn’t finish it. The only thing missing was Jim beam, not in the least a deal breaker.
I must add that I ate at the onomowoc location but for what ever reason they don’t come up. Go visit them for an authentic experience.

Love everything about Mazatlan. We are regulars and the staff seems to be a big family or a group of a few very close family. They have worked to continue restoring things. You should have seen it in the beginning stages compared to now! Outdoor seating available. Great margaritas and I have loved every meal I’ve ordered here (quesadillas — steak and just cheese, enchiladas, chimichangas, tacos and guac). Even comes with free chips and it’s super fast service! If ever we have had a mistaken order (which I honestly don’t remember happening.) they’re always so willing to make it better and they’re very hardworking and want to be the best servers they can be. PLEASE go if you’re in town!

Quickly becoming my fav spot in Delafield. You can create your own combos of 2 for $ 6.50 or 3 for $ 8.50. You name it burritos, taco, chimi, desserts all have been very good. Service once again was outstanding.

Absolutely not worth the money! Meals are small and sloppily put together, food came out minutes after ordering, probably chef microwave made it! Will not be coming back and will not recommend it at all!
