Jack in the Box

Took over 20 minutes to get our usual nothing special food. Don’t go here for your after drinking at the bar food. You’ll almost pee yourself waiting in the car…

Standard JitB, but a well done Sourdough Jack. The music is a bit loud, but if the folks in back can tolerate it for 8 hours, I’ll deal for 8 minutes. Other chains (both food and shopping) in Del Rio aren’t up to par, given the extreme lack of competition but this JitB is well maintained and efficient.

I was tired. I wanted to shower and sleep after being on the road for more than 16 hours. I wasn’t hungry, but the rest of my family was. When my parents are tired and hungry, they get really cranky and I get yelled at for being picky (health-​wise). I just starved myself that night.
This location has breakfast and lunch/​dinner options. My favorite from Jack are the tacos and curly fries. But being health concious, I didn’t eat anything. I just wanted to get out of there and into the hotel to sleep.
They took like 15 minutes to give us our food. For some reason at every single food place we went on our way to Mexico and back, the employees ALWAYS delayed in giving us our food. It was so frustrating. But, at least it wasn’t during the day time or my dad would have exploded. aha
