Jimmy and Steve are great. My experience getting my second pair of glasses was fantastic.

SUPER-​FANTASTIC SERVICE is what my wife and I received here today. I phoned ahead yesterday to ask if they could adjust my brand new replacement pair of Marchon Airlock 2 eye glasses which I had picked up 2 days ago at my previous local optometrist in downtown San Diego. I spoke to Steve the owner on the phone and explained we had recently moved to Solana Beach from Hillcrest and he said sure bring them in. Within 2 minutes of walking into his beautiful store Steve had managed to adjust my glasses to sit perfectly and securely on my face. My wife needed to pick up a pair of clip-​on sunglass lenses for her pair of Marchon Airlocks as well. No problem as Steve was able to find the model number that fitted in his catalogue. This shop has an incredible range of premium brand frames to satisfy the most discerning tastes. The Silhouette eye wear range looked fantastic. Steve’s lovely assistant Jimme was also incredibly helpful. We are so happy we have found a very professional eye wear shop very close to our new home in Solana Beach.

I brought in a pair of sunglasses I purchased elsewhere and got them fitted with polarized, prescription lenses. No muss, no fuss. What’s not to like?

My boyfriend and I recently stopped in and had the best experience ever! These people know what frame looks best on your face and their price’s where as good as it gets as well! Never need to go to another sunglass store ever!!! Thank you for your great service!

I am so pleased with all the terrific service I get from Steve at Optical Illusion. I buy too many pairs of glasses (that’s because they have an excellent selection, but more important in the service that Steve provides.
I lost a pair of glasses while I was traveling last week and in less than a hour Steve had my lenses ready and my new glasses, which enabled me to have a productive day.
If you are in San Diego and need anything from sun glasses to prescription glasses, I urge you stop by Optical Illusion the Flower Hill Promenade.
My wife an I have been going there for at least 10 years.

Hats off to Optical Illusion. The owner kindly adjusted frames I had bought elsewhere, at no charge and did so in such a friendly and gracious manner. They have a great selection of frames and can fill lenses right there in the store in a short time — will definitely be going back when I need more!
