Elizaveta (Liza) truly goes above and beyond with technique and customer service. She is a perfectionist! I really liked the haircut and color yesterday. She is also a very nice and pleasant person. I highly recommend her as a hairstylist.

I have been getting my hair done by Tracy for years now. Color, cut, you name it! She is awesome! I’m a very picky person and she puts up with me :). She always makes sure that I’m completely 100% satisfied with the end result. I don’t trust anybody else with my hair. The other girls are great too, they all help each other out.

I’m leaving this review for the stylist extraordinaire Nicolette. I’ve used her multiple times and she’s so good I hired her for my wedding. She actually listens to what you want and it’s never a struggle for her to understand. She just gets it. Very professional but nice and easy to talk to, I find her to be extremely non judgmental and a joy to be around. As for technique she really has it down! She’s amazing with scissors in her hand… Never been disappointed with a cut from her and neither has my husband and his hair is very difficult to deal with. 3 years later and my husband still cannot find a stylist that can do what she does. It’s remarkable that she can do so well with my long hair and his short curly hair, such extreme differences. She can even do extensions. Very talented young lady and you won’t be disappointed with her. Men and women alike book with her! Our family is very happy we found her.

If you are looking for the best of the best make an appointment with Elizaveta! She does great work and will walk you though the entire process to ensure you get what you want. I have been going to get for more than a year. Before her my hair was damaged, but now I always got compliments about my hair style. She did amazing hair extensions and highlights for me. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love Nicolette! I never had extensions before Nico, and she has been a dream to work with. I was a walk in, so she did an in depth consultation to get the look I wanted without even having me on her books. She always does an amazing job making my hair goals come to life! Not only did a gain an amazing stylist for all of my cut/​color/​extension needs, but I also gained a great friend. I highly recommend her!

Where do I start? This little salon in Del Mar is a real gem! I always struggle with finding a good hair salon with great specialists who know what they are doing. Elizaveta did an amazing job cutting and coloring my hair. She paid attention to every detail and I’m so happy with the result I got! I have a little baby and I am always limited with time, that’s why I like to work with professionals who do a great job and they do it fast. I would definitely come back to Elizaveta and I highly recommend her to everyone!

I have had such a great experience working with Elizaveta Solovyeva (Liza).She has done both my color and hair cuts now and I am so happy with her work. She is truly talented. I really like the del mar salon location as well. Great space and beautiful location.

Tony is my stylist and the best ever. I get compliments everyday on my hair. This did not happen before Tony. He is very precise and takes time so every cut is perfect plus he blow drys it perfectly as well. The salon is friendly and very plush without being snooty. I tell all my friends that they should go there.

I am always looking for a hair salon to call home and now I have found it. My hair is difficult to manage but Liza was able to make it pretty and healthy. She colored with beautiful highlights and cut it and it was amazing. Really great professional and you can tell she enjoys what she does which is a great plus. Also, to my surprise Liza is awesome with eyebrows, she does an amazing job, the nicest I have found in San Diego.
The team at Haim salon is also great, the vibe is nice and everyone makes you feel welcome. I definitely recommend this place.

Jenny M is awesome! I came here to get my first salon treatment in over three years. And my first major haircut in over 15! I told Jenny what I wanted and showed a few pictures of what I had in mind but left it up to her to do what was best based on my hair type. She cut it from long almost waist length up to a bob and I LOVE it! She taught me some techniques that I had never heard before (even with all my magazine reading, online research, past hairdressers, etc!) that really proved to me that she is a cut above the rest. She was also so gracious when I started feeling a little queazy halfway through, bringing me some pretzels and water. I highly recommend her as well as Haim Salon, and I will certainly be back! First visit to Haim Salon today. Ana did an amazing cut for me. She is incredibly knowledgeable and discussed my hair goals prior to cutting. It is always a little scary going to a new person but Ana put me at ease at once with her professional manner and her obvious love of her craft. I will definitely be back.

I was thrilled to find out the beautiful Nicolette Nightingale had landed at Haim Salon in Del Mar. I quickly booked her first available appointment for a new full set of extensions and could not be happier. Nico’s highly talented and I have had several stylists install my extensions in the past however none can compare to her abilities. Though I knew I was more then happy with the results I waited almost a week to write this review just to be «sure».
Nico conditioned my short hair before installing 33 sandwiches of 20″ platinum blonde tape extensions. I don’t know exactly how she installed them but they do not pull, tangle or show. They lay perfectly and look as natural as can be. I can pull my hair up without anyone seeing any tape lines whatsoever and at the same time they are completely comfortable. She also used a unique technique to give me a custom cut which blends the extensions with my natural hair just perfectly.
I left feeling fabulous and can’t wait to have Nico bleach my roots in the near future. I absolutely trust her and highly recommend her to anyone!

I went in for a Keratin Treatment, and it just turned out phenomenal! Quick process, wasn’t as many fumes as previous treatments I have had and the Eufora product I went home with is SO amazing.

This was my first time at Haim and I honestly had the most wonderful experience. The atmosphere is really nice, and our hairdressers were 100% the best I’ve ever had. Ana cut and highlighted my hair and it looked so natural and I’ve already gotten so many compliment and my two younger sisters both had their hair done by Lisa and she was fabulous! She was so kind to my little sister, and she did an amazing job she was very meticulous in making sure that it was exactly what they wanted and I don’t think my family has ever left a salon with everyone happy usually someone hates something this is the first time everyone left overjoyed with our new hair! Thank you Ana, and Lisa! We’ll see you guys again!

Jenny at Haim is a wonderful stylist and colorist! I wanted to get my hair healthy again but also get it back to a nice brown so it would blend well with my natural roots coming out. She did a amazing job, everyone there was very nice and very professional. I will be coming back again and again! As well as recommending everyone I know to come here. Jenny worked on my hair for about 3 hours, and also had a young woman who was training there shadow her and help and I thought that was great. Being someone who understands the importance of training for a job you love I liked that she had her there and I felt totally comfortable with anything Jenny had her do. I have never had a better salon experience anywhere in all the city’s and states I have lived in! Being a actress having good hair is quite helpful, and now because of Jenny I now have my beautiful dark hair back! And it’s health enough again that it is curling again, which it hasn’t done in over three years! So happy!

I had the best experience today at The Haim Salon with Elizaveta as my stylist. She was professional, skilled and incredible at getting the look I wanted! Best stylist in SD hands down. What a treasure to have found her.

Got my haircut by Jenny Moreno and she was so incredibly helpful! She was also very thorough on making sure each piece was even at the end. Loved my new cut. Got Bayalge as well and it was really natural exactly what I wanted! Also very helpful with education on hair and questions I had with that.

Just got my hair cut at Haim and I am SOOOOOO happy with the cut and feel. Karla is consultative, sweet, and gave me exactly what I wanted.

The photo that I attached with this review will speak for itself. But just in case you want the details of my botched hair experience:
I have a very important video shoot tomorrow so I needed to have my blonde roots done. My normal hairdresser cancelled on me this AM so I called around and Haim salon had an opening. The salon has great reviews but I didn’t see any for Kara in particular but I did specify on the phone that I need someone who is an expert with blondes and the person scheduling assured me that she was.
I do want to say that Kara is a very nice person and I feel bad to write this review — but I feel MUCH WORSE that I look like an orange highlighter exploded on my head. I should have been tipped off when another woman who worked there came by to ask her what she was doing with my hair and when Kara answered I could tell the woman seemed a little concerned saying «Are you sure that’s gonna work?» and then someone else came by when I was getting rinsed and I heard Kara say «oh, don’t worry, it will look fine once it’s dry»
She then proceeded to reveal my BRIGHT YELLOW/​ORANGE hair and said «doesn’t it look great?!» She honestly was going to let me leave the salon like this and thought it looked good!!! That is the part that pissed me off the most. If she would have said «look, I messed up» then that’s one thing and I would have been understanding (it happens), but to act like it looked good is just not acceptable. It was so bad that I instantly burst into tears. Never in my life has my hair looked this bad, I have never ever cried in a salon. And let’s not forget that I have a VERY IMPORTANT video shoot tomorrow and this royally screws me over.
The front desk woman could tell I was very upset and said «oh just let her try to fix it» How about no. Why on earth would I trust her to «fix it» when she is the one who ruined it and said that it looked great! I would never in a million years let her or anyone else from that salon ever touch my hair again.
