Tierra Verde Farms

We have been purchasing from this farm for a few years now and could not be happier. Well actually we got happier a few months ago because the owners recently figured out a way to hook their customers up with raw milk! This just adds to our enjoyment of a business that provides pasture fed meat and poultry products including lamb. They also have available eggs, lard, honey and syrup.
Some folks are discouraged by the prices but we really believe that you get what you pay for. That is products that came directly from a family farm in our locale. The beef and other meat and poultry products come with all the healthy Omega’s and none of the unhealthy antibiotics. When we drive-​by when I see the cows and other animals in the pastures!
The raw milk requires that we purchase a herd share, It is illegal to sell raw milk in the state of Ohio. However because we own part of the herd we can benefit from the products that come from the herd. We have done this before with local dairy farmers. Tierra Verde has developed in collaboration with a dairy farm that will help the dairy farm make their raw milk available to people who wish to purchase a herd share.
If you are even halfway tempted to make a trip to the farm market to purchase some meat or eggs or something else give it a try! It is so worth it.
