Okay, we all think that this is Dear Franks but for the past six months, they have had a new owner.
They do not have their own webpage or space on Unilocal,so…
It is called ‘Get the Scoop’
This is an unknown! The ice cream is either made in house or comes from Homer’s. The business owners are friendly and helpful. You can get things like sorbettos, great specialty ice creams like ‘birthday cake’ and banana, and even something for the lactose intolerant (a lactose free vanilla ice cream that actually tastes GOOD!). It is on Waukegan Road next to our favorite ‘Dear Franks’ and deserves our business. Here we have been going to some of the less artisanal ice cream locations and this is right under our noses!
