They made a delicious ice cream cake for us. My son was happy! Customer service definitely lacking so therefore the 3 out of 5 stars. It’s super important to have good customer service so I’d recommend the owners look into training!

Don’t let the negative reviews confuse you. There are two Baskin Robbins in Deerfield. One on Lake Cook that is also a Dunkin Donuts and this one on Waukegan that is not. (Leaving negative reviews at the wrong place is a jerk thing to do.) This is a standard BR, somewhat on the small side… not a lot of tables. Ice cream is good. The guy that runs it is really nice. The only reason it doesn’t receive 5 stars is that sometimes during the day when there is only 1 employee working it is extremely slow.

The drive thru is horrible. Last night I waited for ten minutes for the guy in front of me to get a single coffee. When I finally got to the window for my order I was handed a half full sundae that was not even mixed. Weak at best. You need more than one person on the evening shift.

Ice cream is ok, its a chain so its as good as any Baskin, but this particular location is kept very clean and all the employees are local kids, gives it a nice family feel. Best place around for custom cakes! They do their cakes in store and can really customize the cake you want for your party or get together or whatever.

I actually worked her for a year. The ice cream is what you would expect some Baskin-​Robbins. Of the premium ice cream shops Ben & Jerries is my favorite but Baskin-​Robbin is still great. My boss keep prices really low. The staff overall is good, some of them are more experienced than others. The guy who owns the place is a real nice guy. The place could stand a little TLC.
