So I came into this store looking for some new workout shoes. I love how when you walk in they have the sneakers on sale right up front; and spotted the ones I wanted! :D I purchased a pair of Nike running shoes, and the best thing about it was that since I checked in on Unilocal, they give you $ 10 off coupon of $ 50 or more! That’s a great deal! Now about the store: everything is where it should be, the clothes aren’t on the floors like some stores, and the athletic equipment is where it should be. HOWEVER, I had to take a star off because of the cleanliness of the bathrooms. The women’s bathroom was not too clean; there was no soap in the dispenser and the floors and toilet seats were a mess! :(I will not be using the bathroom here again!

This is your one stop shop for all your training or sporting gear. Since I started working out I find myself stopping in Sports Authority at least a few times a month. I’m usually trying to find new compression shorts or shirts on their clearance racks or dry fit shirts. They always have great sales on those Items. Last weekend I had to come here because my 3 year old is starting soccer. I needed to get him shin guards, soccer shorts, socks and cleats. They had everything I needed in one section I didn’t have to go all around the store looking. Prices were reasonable, PLUS you get $ 10 off if you spend $ 50 when you check into Unilocal! They even have a turf section where he tried out the cleats to make sure he is comfortable in them. The staff is always friendly and very helpful, however, my only complaint is that there is not enough staff on the floor

After 1 too many positive experiences, I had to write a review!!! I went in there very briefly one time, and the person at the register greeted me very friendly. Second time, I went in looking for in-soles. Someone asked me if I needed help, and I told him what I was looking for. I was very hesitant about wasting his time because I wasn’t sure if I was going to be buying them. But I told him I might have some at home and that I might not be getting anything today. And he completely took his time with me regardless. He took them out of the package, had me walking in their shoes with and without the in-soles. I very very much appreciated his time, patience, and his professionalism! Then. I ended up coming back 2 nights after, because I ended up already having the in-soles at my house. But with his customer service I came back to buy shoes this time! Again, someone asked me if I needed help, I very openly explained to him what I needed, and he walked directly to the one shoe in the store that matched my exact needs. Every time I go they are so very friendly and knowledgeable! I appreciate it so much!

I love this place! Sorry I never complaint about an over staff store because that makes help always available.

They got the stuff you need to get the coaches off your back, or step your game up at the gym. But if your looking for anything more sophisticated than golf and camping, check online first.

I came in the other day because we needed a couple things so I have come to realize something; this store is like shopping at a new grocery store. You know how the first time you visit a new grocery store it can be frustrating trying to find where they keep each of those specific items you want without walking down every isle. I’m starting to understand the layout of this sports authority(finally), but I still emphasize that it is still cluttered and disorganized. Base on that the store still deserves a 3 in my book but the manager was such a gentleman when we were there that I felt the courtesy on his part was worth the boot. Upon check out we realized we forgot our coupon, we asked for them to hold our items but instead he dug up a couple coupons for us to use(better than the one we had too) and gave us another one to use another time.

They have pretty much all the basic stuff for most sports that you can play in Florida. Price is decent and they usually have some really good sales. The people working here are helpful but they definitely need more employees because the place is huge! If you’re looking for specific things for your particular sport, look elsewhere(maybe online), because they usually just have the basics.

Its exactly what a Sports Authority should be except that they have awesome sales going on here randomly. I’ve found $ 100+ hiking boots for $ 40, $ 100 NorthFace rain jackets for half off, Teva sports sandals for under $ 20. If you know about outdoor gear and are willing to dig for the deals, then this is your store. Think of it as the thrift shop for sports gear. Everything else seems standard here and don’t expect spectacular REI type service, its simply is a sports authority with bargain finds. The employees are mostly high school teenagers, although friendly, they will not know what kind of shoes you should wear to relieve that ITB pain you have on your left knee.

I have always hated running… but I’ve decided to try to train myself properly. In order to do that, I needed to get some new sneakers, since mine are around 3 years old and have seen better days. Having never purchased«running» shoes, I went in rather clueless. I wasn’t in the aisle for more than 20 seconds when one of the employees, named Seth, asked me if I needed help finding something. I told him what I was looking for, and asked about the differences between cross-training sneakers and running sneakers. He pulled a very lightweight pair of Nikes down for me to try, and pulled out the shoe insoles so I could try out the Air insoles. He helped out some other customers while I was trying mine on, and I pulled out a few other pairs of shoes to try as well, but he always made sure to come back to me and see how I was doing. I told him I liked the pair he had chosen, but that they were a bit too expensive for me, especially considering the Air insoles were another $ 25. He said he might be able to find a coupon for me($ 25 off a $ 100 purchase), and went off to check. He came back, and told me to tell the person at the checkout about the coupon so I could get it. Once at the checkout, I mentioned the coupon, but the cashier didn’t listen to me. Instead, I got a hard sell from him about their«replacement plan» on the sneakers, which cost $ 9. The guy would not take no for an answer. Once I made it clear that I wasn’t interested, he then waited for me to swipe my credit card, which I wasn’t going to do until I got my $ 25 off. He grudgingly found it and I was then on my merry way. Overall I was impressed with the service I got in the shoe department, but the cashier dropped the rating a star.
